@ it’s just not the same as use too. I think some guys loose the love of what they do and now just put out videos because. Just saying. It’s his video and not all tv shows are my favorite. I do give him 2 thumbs up for what he does and knows.
Hey Bruce, this reminds me of the first time I got on this channel you where working on the cabover with your brother in that one door workshop next to the train tracks and now here you are👏🏾👏🏾 am proud to be part of it all. Channel follower from Uganda 🇺🇬
Wow! That Crossfire Tire Pressure Equalizer is a really cool device! When one tire is somehow compromised by running over a nail or screw or whatever, and goes flat, the one next to it goes flat too! Neat!
Old school style petes are the coolest trucks in the world. Sad to see them go, even though i'm not from US. This one has weirdly modern-looking lights though.
Change the air bags on the rear to a heavier weight but same mounts and run two leveling valves and it'll tow a lot better and put some more weight on the steers
Love your videos and all your content. Hope we can get Scania to Canada as well one day? Just wanted to give you a heads up. I've been a wrecker driver for over 30 years. Actually drive a police tow truck for Toronto Police. Just wanted to give you some advice on greasing that Zach lift. Make sure you're greasing the underside of the wheel lift also with the booms all the way out so that the grease gets on the sliders top and bottom. Keep up the great work love watching your Channel!
how about doing a build where you put the drivetrain and electronics of a scania in a peterbilt ? engine , gearbox , axles , suspension , electronics etc
I know wearing gloves while doing that kind of work is a pain in the butt but getting dermatitis from all those oil based contaminants/fuels/cleaners etc. is MUCH WORSE! Take it from me, I got dermatitis doing that stuff in the 1980s and today I still can't get that stuff on my hands.
When in bought you can always take your belt off and wrap around that plastic fuel/water filter it does protect the plastic. I usually remember the belt trick the day I forgot to wear a belt.
Just asking ? Why don’t people replace the plastic air lines and fittings with aluminum or copper lines , I know it’s more expensive but they last almost forever, some custom car builders use them on air ride systems , like Texas Metal on all there builds
If you use a smaller drill 1st to drill a pilot hole the bigger drill bits will work easier. They can bite the metal easier. Also easier to keep the big bits from walking.
If those are push to connect air line fittings, you have to cut the air line back past the last crimp. You should see a crimp line on the air line where it was seated in the fitting last.
Nice video about the pitter built. But can you put a hidden camera on the new scania, park or somewhere and see if people will come a check it out? Thanks. Again great video about the peter belt
Please spend some time on the audio in the videos.. its kind of sucks. Normalize the volume please. Its really annoying having to turn up and down the volume, depending on if youre taking or having some shots with music on it. The music is like 10X more load than your voices.. so please normalize the volume on the video. Its a common problem in all of your videos. Also.. use your rag/cloth around the plastic part/casing to prevent big marks when putting it back on.
Oooooooh.....😮 That black nasty stuff in the water separator for the fuel looks like dead algees... 😅 Time to flush the tanks and the lines with E85....
how about putting a Scania motor and drive system in American Kenworth or Peterbilt or Mack possibly create demand that help drive approval for import of whole truck really like seeing Scania and other European trucks 🚛 at work keep seeing innovations that they have and don't understand why we don't have here on a larger scale other than in military vehicles not available for private sector
Yeah, the engines are world class, but the trucks look like garbage. I see them every day on our motorways . America doesn't know how good it's got it. When all their trucks look like clones of the same box of gizmos as everyone else's truck they'll be sorry. They killed muscle cars too and then spent all their time trying to bring them back. Mark my words fuckstick . You have powder on your nostrils btw
I have watched this podcast several times now and Charlie Brown has better content. I guess when ur spending someone else's it doesn't matter. If he really done something. What a DAM waste !!
Watching Bruce service his Semi is like watching a Prius owner look under a truck for the first time.
Damn I thought I was the only one thinking that. Rather watch paint dry
@ don’t get me wrong, I applaud him trying. Also trying to get a truck brand used all over the world. #Scania

@@PaulThomasHarrisscania isnt coming to america its very unlikely especially with trump in office he doesnt want to be importing things as much as

Peggin leggin 👌🏽

As a Scaniaowner. I do the airleak hunt as often as you are. Finally something incommon in the whole Euro vs Usa ....
lol time for Scania/Volvo/etc to improve that monitoring system!!
Install a quick connect air fitting in a tank to hook back up to shop air to build air back up........
Loving the black truck man. It’s gotta be top 3 best looking trucks in your fleet by far.
You should look into the Swedish grease system. SKF Lincoln Central grease system. That's a great system for all machines or trucks with greasfittings
That a nice truck bruce
This is The Content to See Fixing And kustomizing American Semi

@@jukkavinnikainen816 I wonder where he got that jacket from, has he been to Finland?
I recommend wiping the debris off the fitting before adding grease, it keeps debris from entering the bearing.
Merica hell yeah proud of you
I love your scania from Kenya 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
loving your brother getting involved in the videos keep up the fantastic content
Old school style petes are the coolest trucks in the world. Sad to see them go, even though i'm not from US. This one has weirdly modern-looking lights though.
This one's almost brand new you can order it like this.. I'm not a fan of the new lights either.
I’m so glad you brought your brother on the channel Bruce. He’s a cool dude.
I actually have a wrench for that style fuel/water separator filter.
Would be fun to see a compering between your scania and a new volvo vnl 😊
Change the air bags on the rear to a heavier weight but same mounts and run two leveling valves and it'll tow a lot better and put some more weight on the steers
Hi from across the pond did anybody see that good looking truck in the background.. the blue 1 🇬🇧🤣👊👍
The cabover? It'll never catch on...😀
@@HermitGeek Nice truck but he also needs a Gumboot Scania! I hear they do some wicked donuts! ;)
@@HermitGeek You Yanks prefer your Flintstone vehicles.
That Peterbilts a good looking ride to
Tha knows nowt.
Not even an old truck but I do enjoy your videos
Why don't you keep a service logbook ?
That way you don't have to guess what and when to service.🤔
It's called a faulty memory drive. Sometimes it works sometimes you forget.. 🤣
Quite amazing you are able to use a 50 year old truck commercially. 👍
Average service and maintenense. Btw , a new chromed bumper and, hey, check the new trainhorns!😂😂
Love it!
😂😂😂
Egough with the filter- that was almost an assault.
With that new bumper you could put in some marker lights and some flashing ambers..
I love what you are doing mat and I love you trucks
Arron blowing the horns over Bruce talking 😂😂😂
The production quality of your videos has really become top notch Mr. Bruce
Nice video!
I am soooooo happy to see Peterbilt back on the channel
Aaron steppin' up, priceless!

Safety glasses 🥽 and mechanics gloves 🧤 definitely recommend. 😳
When i'm checking for air leaks on trucks, i fill a spray bottle with soapy bottle and look for bubbles 😅👍
Super cool video nice fantastico improvizationen job 👍👏🥰🇨🇿😉
Hey Bruce will tht bumper fit a 357 Pete brotha keep rocking those videos
Happy new year to you
Like the new music! Keep on keepin on Bruce, Much love and respect from Houston, Texas! #WWG1WGA

Are you guys towing with the tow truck?
A smoke machine tapped into the main air line would be handy. Small air leaks are like things that are crooked the drive me "Crazy".

Nice video. Thanks. PS...Would be nice if the sound level of the music was equalized with the voice output.
you don't seam to have much work going on in that big workshop
What happened to the rotater?
Bruce it's every 2 hrs of continuous use in the uk and use red grease it's a higher velocity
So if you're driving you have to stop and regrease every 2 hours?
Yer your ment to or before you stow your stuff away after

Wondering if you ever tried a bottle with soapy water to check for air leaks and especially if you have a leaky truck tire
Why not putting the air system on one of the axle studs?
Any up date on the white flatbed tow truck

Center punching helps with any size drill bit.
Hey Bruce how are you doing today my friend how was your Christmas and your new year eve

Where's Brutus
So when are you going to start on the proesn truck
Sorry i don t see the difference between the two front bumpers....

I would hate to clean that truck to much chrome 😒
It’s about time your back on the Pete’s real tired of the Commercials for the Scania trucks !
