I haven't been to a bar/nightclub in at least a decade. I kinda miss it now. On second thought, nah, here is much different than Laos. Here, cops, doormen/bouncers, fights usually start around 11:30 and on. There, I did not see any doorman/ police just everyone having a good night out. It must be nice to live in a sane country where people respect one another.🙏👍
Australia's much the same mate.. dickheads wanting to punch on all the time, bouncers on a power trip, cops doing walk-thru's with dogs, bullshit prices and not safe to walk home.
Here.. not once did anybody get upset because I had a camera. They're there for a good time and they certainly know how to do that.

The night spots look a lot like those in Thailand. What a contrast from the villages you usually visit. If I get to Laos, it will be the villages for this old man.

The only country I know White folks (foreigners) would be completely safe to travel; Lao people are the most friendliest and helpful.

How safe is the street food I have seen it doesn't bother u at all but not cost wise are they any health inspectors it us it up to the establishment I would sure. Want to know. Your veg& fruits are great ty.

How safe is Laos? I've been in the Philippines. I wanted to ask because I'm disabled ~ Or is it Myanmar (Burma) that I can't go ~ I have cerebral palsy.
Been to Thailand and Laos and Philippines many times for months and months. Laos is safe and so Is Thailand. If you felt safe in Phils you’ll feel safe there
