    100%. I want to not only stay ahead of the game, but to thrive in the age of artificial intelligence. I am very excited about what the future has to offer. We truly live at a very cool time in history. My attitude is that if we ignore all the BS going on in the world and focus on the good stuff then our lives will improve by leaps and bounds.

The politics of organizations is what drives me to create my own path. So glad to hear someone else say this statement is ridiculous.

    What's amazing about this conversation is when Ali disagrees with Codie on her point that happiness is struggle, Codie refutes Ali by “agreeing with” Ali first before attacking Ali's home base by implying his understanding of “struggle” is wrong (“maybe we need a different definition of struggle”) . This feels like a dexterous move in taichi.

    • @Hyper_Driven
      @Hyper_Driven ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah that just tells me that there’s not really one way to look at things or plan things to be happy and successful. Just figure out what works for someone personally until it doesn’t. To me struggle is different from suffering. You can struggle with something externally but you don’t have to suffer about it.

      It comes down to technique; a downtrend gives you room to focus on the market and grow significantly in the short or long term. While it is easier to make money when the market is rising, a downtrend can still yield high returns if you have the necessary knowledge and skills. For this reason, I have been scaling up during this difficult period by working with an investment advisor; this has been the only way I have raised up to $150K in the last 3 months.

    Two things that Codie says around 1:22:00 really changed my personal finance mindset:
    "The ROI of you is infinite. The ROI of an investment is capped."
    "You invest to beat inflation and prevent your money from getting eaten away; it's not going to make you rich unless you're actively involved."
    I need to be more open-minded about investing in my skill set. ❤ My money mentality from growing up in a single-parent household has made me apprehensive about investing in myself through online courses, certificates, etc.
    I want to become financially free, and at this current income and investing + savings rate (40-50% of gross), I will not be retirement ready until I am 120 years old 😳 I definitely need to boost my income and level up my skills.

    At 1:27:05, Ali asks, "How might a 16-year-old invest $1000?" and Codie responds, "Invest it in yourself. You need to learn at that point. You have to learn, then increase your earnings, then you invest. No 16-year-old should be taking their $1000 and putting it in the S&P. They would be much better off taking that $1000 and learning how to make a bunch of TH-cam videos, or learning how to buy businesses" This made me realize that I need to invest in my skills rather than just maxing out my retirement accounts and getting by. 😳 So grateful to be learning this!

    Thank you,Ali. This was an absolute pleasure to watch the interaction with you Codie. The questions were thoughtful & intelligent. I appreciate the directness because it is so rare. People seem to get a nasty aggression confused with directness, whether it be sparked from curiosity or kindness. It is one of many distortions rippling out in our world causing chaos and separation. Much respect to both of you.

    I do get the sense that the leaving dead bodies comment is still relevant. She clealry stated she doesnt need to be nice. Shes hacked the system so so well and I respect that, but I would never want to work with her. I didnt get a feeling of genuineness in this interview, It was more like she wanted to portray a persona.

    Regarding the Tombstone concept, I borrow from wise words of a mentor once, I want to be remembered for the fact that people are better off because I've lived, in other words, I've positively impacted others and added value to their lives both faith/Spiritually and wholistically.

      33:13 and WHATTTT? Did she just ASK Ally to share his views & experience? I listened to a tons of podcasts and I could barely recall if I ever heard someone doing this to the host. • @Chris-tg3qy

      @@pandconfid. She is an amazing communicator and talks a good game, but there is something missing. She is sharing her journey of hard work and entrepreneurship, but I am not sure there is tangible long term evidence of her multi million dollar success. Her mission is to help other people own homes. What tangible steps is she taking to make that mission come to fruition.
      She is intriguing and I have listened to her in many interviews, but I feel her comments are focused on getting rich, but again, I don’t see anything outside of TH-cam highlighting any specific successes and everything about her success is coming from her mouth.
