    I've got two myself, and I love them. My only concern is the PLA top warping in a hot car. Great video, as always.

    Hi Rob, I just got my M1 today. I was wondering how high do you have the other Atlavox unit? I want to mount mine to my tower, but I am not sure how to do that yet. Thanks for the videos Coolie KA9QZG

      Hi Coolie! That M1 is cool. I was really impressed with the print. Currently I just have it on the roof of a shed on a high point of my property. The apex of the roof is at about 12'. I have a 50' Rohn push up mast I plan to mount it on once I figure out how. Let me know if you come up with a way to mount it on your tower.

    I remember when we were told that, by using plastics, we were saving trees and being a friend to the environment.......

      Yeah either someone else was naive or they were hoping we were!

    Thanks for the review. The lanyard loops throw me off a bit. seems like a bending point, even more so in heat. I like the idea of a single thick attachment point.

      @@nitekry the case is pretty substantial. It is nice and thick at the attachment points. It feels solid but timw will tell. I have attached it to my EDC backpack with the strap you see in the thumbnail. Will give an update in a few months.

    It’s just a wisblock?

    • @digital.rancher
      @digital.rancher  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, it's essentially a Wisblock starter kit with a baller case. At the end of the day, there isn't much difference in the radios that are available. Wisblock is the most configurable and the most efficient. I think that makes it the best radio to build on. The real difference in radios, at least today, is in the implementation of the case. This really is a great case. Thanks for watching and commenting!
