I like your iteration of this style better than the original. The color and restraint with the floral resin pieces combine for a very elegant look. It looks like you had fun doing it too! Really nice work!
@@debraneria4242 You know, by the time I edit all the content, it takes an entire week. For this project, the more time consuming task was removing the old finish, making the molds wasn't bad. And I agree with you, so fun!
@@aliferefurbished honey I give you mad props as I have no idea how you do all the things you do...I can barely finish one of the many projects I've got 😂❣️🙄
Beautiful work, Walessa! I have had these same molds for about 1.5 years and keep saying I am going to get around to using them! Your piece is beautiful and I am more motivated to get going and do my piece!! I occasionally look for just the "perfect piece" to use them on and never seem to find it, but I am just going to have to pick one and go with it! Thank you for making this piece and sharing your process. :)
Oh my goodness! You’ll be so happy you made them! I have been wanting to make molds for a long time, I needed more courage to be honest. At some point you have to just jump. 😊I can’t wait to see what you create my friend!
That piece is gorgeous. I love that style along with French provincial style. The way you placed the moulds was perfect, the piece is going to live on n somebody’s home for years to come. I love it, great job!
Gorgeous! My parents had this exact same dresser set when I was younger. Would love to have your version of it. Maybe I’ll keep an eye out for a version of this diy! Thank you ☺️
I’ve watched a number of Anthropologie Enchantment dresser inspired makeovers on You Tube, and I truly LOVE your version. The dresser itself is gorgeous, and I think the resin design is really well done I also, like you, just love the warm beige with the white wax ❣️ Great interpretation! 🙏
Awwww thank you! You know, I’ve never tried anything like it, so I didn’t know how mine would turned out. Let’s just say that I was surprised how much I liked it.
WOW this piece is absolutely stunning and the colours are eye catching but not over the top. Only thing I was curious about - The resin technique with the 60/40 ratio may cause issues as it wont cure as it should. However, using the recommended ratio and taking it out when it's at the still bendy stage will allow it to be moulded to your piece. A heat gun can be used to heat up the resin piece if it's gone a little too hard. You've totally inspired me to use my resin flower/leaf pieces to make a mirror I have fancy 😊
Beautiful job. An inspired piece! I was wondering how you repaired the chipped veneer? Or did you end up covering them with your flowers? A truly great job. 👏👏👏
Laeti
Thank you for your kind comment, and for watching! My first language is Spanish, and I took one semester of French, but I can’t remember much. I’m glad this makeover was inspiring. The translation of your comment into English was really good!
I love the flowers you made with the molds, but when I clicked on the link to order the website only shows paint and stencils. Maybe there’s another website that has these particular molds? Please advise.
Hi do you have to completely strip and bleach wood if you are using Amy Howard’s paint to achieve this look? I thought the point of her products were so you don’t have to do this? This piece is gorgeous!!
Hi! The inspiration piece showed some wood underneath, so I wanted to replicate that as some level with this piece. Of course you don’t need to strip or bleach if you’re going to paint a piece with Amy Howard Paint.
Perfection!!!! LOVE IT!!!! You are a woman I'm pretty sure I would get along with. I love to listen to Frank while working too! Then I'm singing ( That's Life) all evening 😉😆. I also love to used quotes from the great writers like Oscar Wilde and Voltaire, Only a fool doesn't appreciate the wisdom garnered from those who come before us!!! Great work and great wisdom young lady 🤗
You’re very sweet, well, you never know, maybe one day we could meet in person. Is there someone that doesn’t like Frank? I hope not.😄Thank you so much, specially for the “young lady part.” 😄I’ll have to look up those writers you mentioned.
Yes the resin hardened, it just took a little longer. It basically gives you more play time. 😊 And the leaf pattern did not damage easier. I just carefully removed the more intricate and smaller flowers, since they could get damage during the removal process.
I love this piece even more than the original inspiration piece. ❤ This is a timeless elegant tone verses the trendy cooler white.
Awww thank you!
Soooooo gorgeous! Anthropology- eat your heart out!!!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful and much nicer than the inspo ❤
I'm glad you liked it!
I like the brass handles on your version over the plain pulls on the original. Good choice of furniture for this technique. Well done.
Thank you! I couldn’t get myself to paint the gorgeous hardware. I was just keeping my fingers crossed that it would look good. 😊
I like yours better it's not cluttered but simple less is more it looks stunning
Thank you! I do like the simple layout better 😊
Honestly, I like this much better than the Anthropologie piece! Beautiful work! Also, I agree with you about loving those curved lines. ❤️
Thank you!!!

I noticed that by the time I glued the bendable ones, they felt harder. Using a heat gun sounds like a great idea.
Nice one, keep it up!

Beautiful job. An inspired piece! I was wondering how you repaired the chipped veneer? Or did you end up covering them with your flowers? A truly great job. 👏👏👏
The color wash is a great way to camouflage imperfections, but yeah, for the bottom front skirt, the imperfection was covered by the flowers.

The resin at 60% & 40% was softer did it eventually harden? And also did the leaf pattern damage easier? I really want to do this to my furniture

the molds will not pop up?
Do you mean after gluing them? No, I used an extremely strong bonding wood glue carpenters use.
