It’s not the colors I would have picked, but the application was perfection. I am glad that your customer was happy with the pieces. You do beautiful work.
Thank you so much! Is not a dramatic change but he looks 10 times better. ☺️
@@aliferefurbished Absolutley!
I agree! I would have liked a darker wood stain (less orange tone) with the paint wash! Your work and love for each piece are amazing! I'm so glad your customer loved it! ❤❤
I’m surprised I like this so much. 😀 I initially thought the cool tone paint wash wouldn’t compliment the warm wood stain, but my instincts weren’t right about that. It’s really lovely and in my opinion, very trendy and elegant now. ❤️
Thanks so much! 😊
It turned out beautiful very clacy thank you I hope your profit was good have a wonderful week❤
@@ritameza2961 It was! And thank you. ☺️
That would have been a beautiful raw wood look piece. I love that look, though, and I'm sure it's not for everyone. You did a great job doing what your customer wanted. 👏
Yes! I think if I had refinished it for myself I would’ve definitely kept it bare. 😊
I’m with you, I wouldn’t have chosen those colours, but now that I’ve seen them together, they really work 👍 As usual, you’ve done a great job, looks fantastic 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Yes! And thank you.
Looks great! And as you said it’s what she wanted.
@@shawndelaney9311 Yes! ☺️
Beautiful transformation Walessa! Loving the contrast between the two tones of stain, they really elevate the piece 😍🤩👏
@@phoenixfurniturestudio Thank you so much! The contrast definitely grew on me. ☺️
I love it the combo is so pretty❤
beautiful makeover as always! 😍 But the original handle is prettier though but that's what the client wants there is nothing we can do... 😊
She could not find another handle that matched.
@@rowenalatorre4872 I agree with you! I LOVED the original handles. Had I found the one somewhere on the internet, I would have tried my client into keeping them.
@@aliferefurbished yes, vintage/antique handles are quite hard to find in the internet most esp. if its the same exact handle that you are looking for..
Your work is beautiful and I love the detailed explanation of your process. I would not have chosen those colors, but your application technique made them work. As long as the customer is happy, that’s what matters. Nicely done.
@@jelenabrancato2499 I guess if I had different colors at home I would choose something similar. That’s the beauty of custom work, we can make it happen. And thank you! ☺️
I would not have picked those colors, but I love it.
@@dinabird2602 Same here! ☺️
I love it. The colors are great!!
I'm probably in the minority here, but I liked the cooler color of the frame with the warmer color of the top and drawers! It makes the piece versatile. You do lovely work!
I think it looks great too! I wouldn’t mind replicating the look. ☺️
Your work sure speaks for itself. To get a recommendation shows your devotion to your skill. This piece was waiting for a long time but when the time came… after 3 years of diverse trends - the customer has spoken. Amazing work! I’m so glad you explained to us step by step, it is incredibly helpful. I love it and wow neat profit. I enjoy the content you post. God bless.
@@julieann7609 Love “the customer has spoken,” and you know, trends come and go, so I think people should decorate their home however they please. And thank you so much! I’m very grateful that people value the work that I do. ☺️
You always do such beautiful and careful work. The different colors do look good together--I (like you) was wondering, but you did a superlative job!
@@ldianehigley3287 Thank you! Glad you liked it too
I ACTUALLY LIKE THOSE HANDLES BETTER!!!!! thank you
I think they’re great! 😊
It was a masculine effect to me and very well done. The colors were different but like you said, "customer happy, I'm happy". I will be embarking on a large buffet that will be a bright coral color with texture and stencils. Not for everyone but I think it will work for me. That is why you listen to the customer and do the best you can.
@@toddylu6869 Absolutely, your project sounds fun!
Hearty congrats on the finished piece. You did a wonderful job. The stain colour I do not prefer - too orange for my liking. Happy customer is always the goal though and I commend you for your effort. :-)
@@MARYBOORMAN Thanks! The change is definitely not dramatic. ☺️
Beautiful! Thank you for the acetone skillshare as I needed that in my life 😮😊
You are so welcome!
The piece turned out beautifully. I liked the the detail color around the draws. It made it more interesting.
That’s true! It makes me more unique for sure.
Surprised that I don’t hate the colors she chose. Your work on it perfection.
Yea, they look great! ☺️
I, absolutely love this transformation ❤
Thank you! 😊
I must say I really like it ❤❤
That’s awesome!
I’m not sure how I feel about your customer’s color choices but you did a fabulous job on it.
Well thank you! ☺️
This may be the furst time ive liked the look of paintwash! Here it is an accent not a bland canvas.
Paint wash is basically the same thing as staining, but with paint, you basically get more color options. I agree, the color as an accent turned out great
The stain is more orange than is widely poplar right now, but the total makeover looks so amazing!! The new hardware fits perfectly. I know that your customer must be thrilled with the results.
I agree that the this stain color is not as popular. I would have loved to find dangling hardware for it, but I was lucky I found some that matched the two sizes I needed for this one. Thank you!
Preferred original hardware. Stain very lovely, however paint wash just did not work with that stain. In my opinion a darker paint wash or oil would have better complemented the stain on majority of body. I know it was her preference, but I can tell you knew better. The way you explain everything is excellent, very clear, and very inspiring. Thank you for sharing all of this work. I learned a lot from you!
I like the color's combination great job 😊
@@oreobenavidez953 I do too! And thank you ☺️
Very handsome piece now. It will look nice in a room that is the color of the lighter stain.
Yes! In fact I think that’s why my customer chose this color. ☺️
I am not a fan of the colors together, but you did a great job and pleasing the customer.
Thank you!☺️
You did a beautiful job. That is such a beautiful piece of furniture But I don’t care for the color and hardware choices. But like you said, the only person that has to like it is the customer!
Thank you, and I’m so glad they loved it. ☺️
Nice work! So pretty!
@@WatchMomFlip Thank you!
Bel lavoro ottimo il contrasto tra i colori
@@vincenzosebastiani1810 Thanks!

Very Nice.
Thanks!
Love it!
@@karengleason4791 Thank you!
Classy work
Thank you! ☺️
Can't believe how well the acetone removed the lacquer finish. Probably much more economical and a cleaner process than stripper. This was an incredible profit, I didn't think I would like the combination of wash and stain, but it looks terrific. Those original handles were fabulous, but the replacement ones work well. Do you think the General Finishes topcoats are better than the typical Varathane and Minwax brands at home centers? Kind of pricey.
I know! And cleaning the finish by simply whipping it off after made the process so much more simple than cleaning furniture stripper. For topcoats, I’ve heard great things about Varathane. I love General Finishes sheen, and I’ve tested it in pieces I’ve refinished for my own home. The durability is amazing, this is why I use them.
As usual, absolutely gorgeous! The original drawer pulls were awesome! To bad you were unable to find a replacement for the missing one! But what the customer chose is very pretty! I really like the new look! You do such amazing stunning work! Extremely gorgeous! 😊❤
The new handles definitely make the wood grain pop, thank you! ☺️
How do you dispose of the acetone rags?
@@KarenSmith-bc7nd The trash but I make sure the acetone evaporates “dry out” before discarding them
I hope your client was happy with her choice, but it wouldn't have been mine.
@@nannettenannettek9545 She sure was! ☺️
Way prettier before
I don’t expect everyone to like all the projects, but just the right person to love it.
Nope 👎
You know what you like ☺️
