The ADs in HK are very greedy. They are selling back door to the grey market themselves and sharing the profit at times. I’ve seen it first hand myself.

Good video. It’s definitely not a PP nautilus but I can attest with my Rolex OP 41 green aka the leprechaun that if you make an effort and continually show your face you might be able to get something. There is not real like 1 ,2, 3 wait list it’s more of who is in their head at that moment they get the watch. So if you are memorable and in their head they will think of you. Like anything else in life like picking up a hot chick, getting sick pack abs, or nailing a job interview you need to put in effort

What if you don’t live in a country with any proper store? I hear phone calls don’t cut it? What do you then? Are we saying an enthusiast should be be deprived of his love cos of geographical position? The system is flawed and really painful. I know a friend that pops into an AD in Neighbour hood he visits twice a year in the US, sometimes, the only reason he makes the trip is to visit the store and still no watch in over 18months. How do the ADs and Brand manage this?

I wish to go in store and be able to pick up any watch you want. It’s messed up but this is the sad reality.

@@romanmoruz , I got two in 2 1/2 months. First an OP41 silver dial and then a Black Submariner Date. Now I’m broke so I have to save for a year for my next piece, but I will still visit periodically.
The Tiffany Oyster Perpetual retails at $6,150 and sells on the Chrono for$35k- $40k and grey market resellers are buying somewhere between $18k-$30k. Can't say because there's not much info from resellers as to how much they paid. I know cause I watch too many of these types of videos.

Guys don't look at chrono listings look at sales & activity. Not a single OP41 tiffany sold for 60.70k thats rubbish. They are listed for 30k but they don't sell anywhere near that. No one pays 30k for a OP41 please look at the transactions not just the listings. Also no Nautilus sells for 200-300k (last edition green dial not included) those are just lustings hardly any 6 figure watch transaction will happen over chrono so don't take those listings as reference for the actual paid market price.
Three options: be persistent, create a rapport or be rich. Simples.

Save your money and get a Vacheron Overseas. Save up for Patek Aquanaut. Or get a Breguet. This Rolex bubble will collapse in spectacular fashion when crypto and the overheated real estate market finally corrects. This happened in 2009 when fake scarcity (artificially low supply) collided with a economic disaster. Things that were truly limited supply fared well (vintage, super exclusive brands like RM, FPJ, Lange, etc.). Rolex is A MASS PRODUCER. They make over a million watches a year. Lol. This charade will have to end at some point because mass producers have to mass produce.

Rolex strive on the current trend to increase their retail prices and will continue to do so by keeping the hype strong as they know even with their production number, the demand still outstrip supply hence the balance is still very much in Rolex favour. If anyone is thinking of market price correction anytime soon, think again.
