Photographing Birds, Grimsey Island, Iceland

  • Grimsey Island is a fascinating location and is the northern most inhabited island off the mainland of Iceland. For bird photographers and bird watchers looking for a great place to view and photograph nesting seabirds that call this island home during the summer this in my opinion a place you want to visit..
    For this video I will talk about and show some photos plus videos of many species that can be found here including Atlantic Puffin, Razorbill, Common Murre, European Golden Plover and Arctic Tern just to name a few.

    Awesome and very informative video. Thanks for doing this. We are going there in June but not Grimsey perhaps after this trip I can make a plan and fo there straight instead. We are spending a night in Westman island hopefully we get to see Puffins there
