Puffin Paradise, the softer backlit images of the Puffins have a fine art feel to them like at 6:59 and 7:04, definitely wall hangers 👍😎

Just going back over these vlogs because I’m planning to go back to Iceland next year, and as I love wildlife photography was wandering what time of spring summer was this. Looks epic for all night landscapes as well, great vlog man

I was really impressed with the east of Iceland. Needs some more exploration, for sure!

    Puffins everywhere, brilliant.
I made a note of some of the waterfalls you saw in the west, as by coincidence, we are in Iceland for a short break on the 8th of February, staying in Reyjkavic, Reykholt and Stykkishólmur on the snaefellsness peninsular. Hoping to get some wintery shots of waterfalls and if we are lucky the Northern lights.
Not sure we will have the time to go see Puffins but then I dont think they will be there in February lol.

Nice!! Those puffin portraits are fantastic!! I'm just back from Iceland. Goofy time of year to go but they have an Iceland Noir Festival (crime/mystery writers) in November that my wife goes to so I get to drive around. I left Reykjavik and drove along the South coast. I stayed three nights in Vik. The weather was kind of crappy ... super windy and raining non-stop ... but it was still fun. I might go a different time of year next year.
I was hoping to see Puffins but I was just too late in the season!!

The birds are great. We get to see them indoors at the St. Louis Zoo. Not quite the same environment! 😂

Hi Brendan! Old low profile suscriber here, it may sound random but I want to ask you, since you're the most honest photographer I know in YT. How do you deal with taxes being a freelancer abroad? For most of the Income Octopus tentacles I think I get it but when you have an assignment or commercial deal, do agencies or whoever ask you for some kind of receipt or contract? I'm not a travel photographer but I take pics of buildings and if I want to work for some architecture firms outside my country (Arg) I'm lost, because I don't think it makes sense to apply for a working visa for every country, or does it? Thanks a lot, keep inspiring us!

Seems Island is getting you all the puffins you missed in the last years.

Hey Brendon did you mean west? You kept saying east. I might be wrong

That much light at midnight? How long did it take you to get around to editing this video? Half a year? 😂

In case you aren't aware, a few of us local photographers on Vancouver Island have coined a term for the ultimate compliment between each other - since we are in close proximity of the military base at Comox when one of us grabs the shot that we all wish we had got, it's not uncommon to hear the claim from everyone else ............ " Foxtrot Uniform " ....... meant in only the kindest way ........ I'm sure you and Gregg will be able to figure it out ! .... so let me say this in light of your Puffin shots here ...................... Foxtrot Uniform ! ........... maybe one day, I'll get one too .........

I don't think it is too much to ask to identify your location correctly. Hate to be the get off my lawn guy but this gets disrespectful.

      I totally disagree.
After all the money and time that goes into finding these spots, plus the fact that these spots are used for them to make money by vlogging and by taking paying clients to these special locations, they have every right to keep the spot locations to themselves.
