Driveway Grading w/ Frontier Box Blade

  • In this video I demonstrate how I use a John Deere 3039R compact tractor along with a 6’ Frontier box blade to grade a 175’ driveway section. The secret to fewer potholes is to make sure you have enough pitch to drain the water away quickly during rainfalls so tires don’t create the potholes on the driveway.

    Have nearly the same setup on a 3033R, I would like to slow down the top link motion, adjusting the box blade angle with the electronic valve is too sensative.....

      I have the same thought sometimes. I believe hydraulic shops would be able to recommend a flow restrictor that could be placed inline so the max flow reduces on the lines. That should slow it down.
