I've viewed this version of the Mothra Song as a sad rendition of it.
The slow, sad tune sung by the Shobijin to the now-aging Mothra one last time, whom they know will never be able to return to Infant Island once she takes flight and confronts the rampaging Godzilla. It's like they're sending her a final farewell song. :{

But mothra immortal so yeah she just lays an egg and once she dies, she's reborn as a larva. *Spoilers for the movie: Rebirth of mothra 1*
IF the seal wasn't taken, death ghidorah wouldn't be out to destroy. It was stated in that movie that Mothra is nearly close to death and yeah sad af.. Maybe after Mothra Leo larva hatched from his egg and became an Adult moth, Mothra's dying, she can't fly anymore and so the shobijins sings one last song for her..

Nobody has never sung this as good as they did. They did pretty good but nothing like this. Beautiful because you can hear each one of their voices separately. They sound very beautiful. Like they really put their heart into like this was a true real life creature/ titan they were praying to.

The thing about Mothra's song as well as other songs related to Mothra, affect the title character. Kinda like giving it a power boost. Godzilla doesn't need two Cosmos to make him strong.

Nah that wouldn't work. What makes Godzilla unique among the kaiju is that until his son arrived, he liked to do things on his own. The cosmos would probably get slapped away by him if they tried to use their song on him.
