This lovely tune has been covered by many artists, but never have I heard it covered better. Reina's lead vocal, the beautiful blend of Reina's and Toni's voices, and Toni's superb guitar work make this version of the song an absolute standout. Many thumbs up!
She is very talented, but this cover reminds me of Carrie Underwood on American Idol covering Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. Carrie sang first and sounded fantastic, but then Gary LeVox comes in and just blows her out of the water. Allison Krauss’ cover of this song is just in a completely deferent league and it’s hard not to notice the difference in Allison’s vocal range compared to Reina’s. But it takes guts to cover a song that a legendary singer has performed and I have nothing but respect and appreciation for Reina’s musical talent. She can definitely rap about Star Trek better than Allison Krauss ❤😊
