    I have been experimenting with multiple lanterns to get the high key look on the set. I think you can get more depth on your subject just by changing the angle of lanterns and skirting rather rather than bouncing. it's quick and efficient and It beats hanging lights sometimes.

      Thanks for the insights -- haven't used lanterns in a while! Will have to try it out next time

    Sigma 50-100 is an unusual lens. 2 of the gears actually control zoom….

      I used it for some music videos before, it has a clinical look to it, similar to the 18-35

    Just to clarify regarding the thumbnail, productions like these typically start around $15,000 usd

      @@MichaelNoLimitsLi It was a mini series a couple of years ago - for which I get to spend a good 2 months in Taipei, or 3 if you consider the month long quarantine at a hotel.

      @@derrickloo3625 Awesome, sounds like a solid shoot experience you had, as most feature filmings are around a month long. I also worked on a series here but for less than one month; now that quarantine is long and gone hope you get another opportunity to come back!

    3x Forza 720 would have helped on getting the high key look. I had the 300s. They are pretty weak.

    • @MichaelNoLimitsLi
      @MichaelNoLimitsLi  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      thanks for your suggestion; I haven't had the chance to try 720 yet, but we have used more powerful HMI on other projects

      How much does a production like this cost in Australia?

    • @MichaelNoLimitsLi
      @MichaelNoLimitsLi  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jaydenkiz8791 Is it a new or established client? What are the deliverables (how many)? Is it a one off or the 20th project of the year? Did the client set the budget or was it negotiated? What gear is requested? Location / casting required? Is it direct to client or via an agency / production company? Without knowing any of the factors that are at play: 22,000 AUD

    A one day shoot and they're complaining about sleep deprivation as if they're off at war or something. Needs to toughen up, people are working hard manual labor out there and he's complaining if he doesn't get his special french toast lol

      no one gives a fuck that people “work hard labor”. so did cavemen.
