Throughly enjoyed it. What got me about Hugh Grant’s performance was that even though you knew his motives were sinister; even extremely late in the film, because of his charm and his demeanour I couldn’t shake the feeling that maybe he’s just a misunderstood eccentric and it was all going to be ok.

Thanks GG, will now go and watch it with my daughter!

Hi Gremlin. What did you think the film was trying to get across to the audience, apart from the horror element? It had lots of intellectual content, whereas 'The Substance' for me was more of a titillation and exploitation film, made for teenage boys, with nothing particularly revolutionary to say...
