This is one of the better narrations regarding the triplex engines which never fail to fascinate newcomers to the field of model railroading. You might try to curate some better higher resolution illustrations of the triplex machines and include them as well. Thanks for the history profile. JAGRAF/X RAILROAD on the web 🚂
Thanks for the comment! I would like to have photos for the history segment be of higher resolution but both my computer and editing software refuse. Since I make no income off my videos I can’t afford to make an upgrade.
@@TrainMaster04 there is some interesting facts The Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive was a proposed Triplex steam locomotive by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. The Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive was proposed by the Baldwin Locomotive Works after they had built the very first three triplex locomotives for the Erie Railroad in 1914 and they were planning to build this locomotive for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. The reasons to why Denver and Rio Grande Western's Triplex Locomotive wasn't built was because of the issues with the Erie Railroad's P-1s and the Virginian Railway's XA when they couldn't go as fast as their top speed was about 10-15 mph, with the Virginian Railway's XA reaching 3-5 mph or even as high as 10 mph.
Excellent video Buddy
MTH tooling of this model is amazing, glad to see Lionel picked it up
Agreed! Better to be used than stored in some warehouse.
Great job Trainmaster!
Great review. Great job and as always you never disappoint.
Thanks, I’m glad it met up to par!

Great video! I will always consider this an MTH locomotive, though. No interest in this version.
