    I´m 57. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with mild knee arthritis. The Yoga Men Series has so far been the most effective way to manage knee pain and improve kneww functionality.

    At age 72, a kidney transplant but normal weight, I just felt that I needed a bit more energy and wanted to be in better shape. I discovered this series and have been doing one lesson daily for several weeks now. I don't think that I am wrong in saying that I feel better, look a bit better (my wife tells me) and I am more energized. Though retired, I am a volunteer on our Board of Directors for a Condo Association in NH and the workload is often quite demanding. I was always able to keep up but now I feel more efficient with the paperwork and meetings, and with the actual physical maintenance tasks that I prefer to do to save money for our Association. So, the 30-40 minutes a day I spend with Man Flow Yoga has become part of my daily routine and I feel that it is time very well spent. I have viewed and tried yoga online lessons from several presenters and Dean is by FAR the best! A Glasser

    I've done most of all the other yoga channels ......breathe and flow yoga, saturnomovement etc.....yours seems to be the most difficult. And I think its because of your focus to detail. Im detailed oriented and your practice seems to be oriented to a more strength based yin style yoga for men. 👍👍👍👍

    I developed that shoulder imbalance ( atrophied rear delts) from too much downward dog and other poses that engage the front deltoids while unfortunately blocking back muscle engagement. It took me awhile to figure out the problem and your instruction expands my awareness to a much greater degree. I have reformed my shoulders.

    Enjoyed how you direct us on which muscles should be engaged. This has really improved my yoga poses and notice that I have made conscious changes in how I sit in front of my desk all day to engage other muscle groups of my body.     Did workout 5 today, find it a little tougher as compared to other workout in the series...
    My legs were shaking in most of the forms...
    But enjoyed and was somehow able to complete it :)

    Fantastic routine, Dean ! I really appreciate the bookmarks for each pose, as I am still developing endurance. Hopefully be able to run through someday without needing breathers, but for now having a clear place to pause and jump back to is great. Your routines have also done wonders for my lower back even for having only done 1-2 a week for a while.

    I did notice that with a lot of these I'm clenching my pelvic floor like I'm doing a kegel. Is that proper or should I be relaxing those muscles? I feel all the other muscles you mention engaging and I definitely feel it in all the right places the next day!!!! No lower back strain as added proof! Thank again!

    1000 thanks for the a) transitioning/preparing for Warrior III and b) SUPPORTED Warrior III. For me, at least, I find great value in a fit muscular guy sharing yoga advice to fit muscular guys. PS: I bought your book (which I use regularly for guidance-it’s not a read it and forget book, it’s a perpetually valuable reference book) after you shared in a video that in order for guys to do proper bridge pose, we probably will NOT find the typical yoga advice of clasping your hands together necessarily helpful-we’re guys with strong bulky shoulder muscles so you may find clasping your hands hinders, not helps, in a bridge pose. And finally, I will execute this workout tonight although I watched this video in its entirety just now (I have found that if I attempt to not pre-watch and instead follow along with first viewing I end up doing less yoga and more playing a game of Twister!)

    If I use orthotic inserts because my feet are out of alignment, should i wear them in my shoes while doing the standing poses, or go barefoot?

      If you go barefoot you can actually work on strengthening those weaknesses.

    Aquí me doy cuenta lo difícil que es seguir a una profesora de yoga, esta sesión tiene su reto pero pude seguirla completa, ya el yoga femenino no lo estaba aguantando y es que ambos cuerpos son muy diferentes
