Unless I absolutely detest a scent, I will keep it in my collection, or give it to my mom or sister. I definitely want to try a fragrance in each season: just because I don’t like it in winter, doesn’t mean it won’t work in summer.
The hard part about loving Fragrances. I keep mine for a long time to test it in different seasons too.
I brought back most of what I impulsively decluttered. I learnt a lesson - I always put the scent aside in a drawer for a few weeks and if I think about it and miss it, I don’t declutter it. Since I’ve started doing this, I don’t have failed declutters any more. Everything I declutter, I don’t miss at all. My brought back declutters include: Hypnotic Poison (it’s so gorgeous I need it in my collection), Guerlain Samsara (I thought it was too mature and then missed it), Armani Si (I thought it was “generic” because I saw a few reviews) had to bring it back because I adore its sexy DNA.
I try not to be influenced by reviews and really keep/cherish what I genuinely like.
Good idea!!! Yes I’m rather quick to let things go which is a blessing and a curse. I’m lucky that I don’t have drawers and closets bursting at the seams, but it does sometimes lead to regrets:)
I do the same thing! I put a few I didn't want in a box and put it away for a while and I started missing one of them (choco violette) so I brought it back out a wore it again. now I just love it!

I let go of Replica By the fireplace at the beginning of the year. I still had a sample of it though. When I decided to let it go, I smelled mostly smoke out of it. But my nose has evolved and I pick up a lot more of the woody and vanilla sweet notes now. I’m really getting more into woody perfumes (thanks to Autumn Vibes by Replica) and I’ve been playing with the sample of by the fireplace and it smells so amazing to me now. I have a full size bottle on the way right now :) This is the first time I have brought back one I’ve decluttered in the past so far.
Same happened to me! First time I tried By the fireplace I also thought it was all smoke but I tried it again yesterday and I ordered a 100ml bottle today! 😂 It’s so good! So sweet and yummy!

I love smoke! By the Fireplace came off as just sweet vanilla to me so I didn't get it! The opposite happened haha

I’ve decided my Narciso Rodriguez cubes are timeless. Some only seem right in colder weather, but there is nothing like them . I just purchased The Ambre’ cube( peach colored) and it is so beautiful while Christmas shopping in cool temperatures.
I almost decluttered my coco noir. I’m glad I didn’t. I love it too!!!
I LOVE The Only One. WAY better than Black Opium in my opinion. I actually have and equally love The Only One Intense. It’s like Alien’s tropical cousin from Hawaii.
Have you tried The Only One 2?! Soooo good and has great lasting power. It has notes of blackberry, red berries, pear, tonka, coffee and some others. But if you like gourmand scents I think you’ll love that one too.
@@JasmineMartinTV Omgosh I heard about it but haven’t smelled it yet! I think all of D&G perfumes are amazing so the only one 2 will probably be no exception and I’ll probably end up purchasing
I agree that The Only Intense is nothing like the original The Only One....its more like Dior Addict with coconut or Alien with coconut, i sold mine because i don't like Jasmine heavy fragrance
Thanks for clarifying on Black Xs - I was honestly confused when I looked into it - the different versions/formulations threw me off. And yes, literally the only reason I haven’t decluttered yet is because I fear I will regret it later. 🙈💁🏻♀️
I guess it’s hard to control ourselves during the holidays with purchasing fragrances 😂 but my anxiety is getting bad with having so many. I haven’t brought any back that I had previously gotten rid of. I debate on bringing back some but I try to remember I got rid of it for a reason & I can explore newer/better ones.
I am same , i go crazy over holidays , i need some fragrances some make up items and 1-2 purses why , just bkoz i find it's therapeutic, by January I ask myself why i splurged, but this time i got only one purse 2-3 make up items and 2 fragrances , my usual Giorgio Armani code and new one am loving is Moschino toy 2, i want something more feminine , like Dior the new one or new la vie est belle

I’ve never really decluttered just given things away. I would have decluttered Chloe nomade absolue though and now I love it so much.

I got Paco Rabanno black XS as a gift last Christmas and I’ve really been enjoying it.
OMG YOU BROUGHT BACK ROUGE. I recently purchased it and it became an instant love. The drydown is the best.
That's one perfume u won't like from testing but by wearing it and the dry down as u mentioned is what makes it amazing
The 2007 version of Black XS was my cousins signature scent!! And you're right it's definitely a beast. When she used to come over the whole house filled up with that scent and it stayed till long after she was gone! 😂 To me It's a very edgy, rocker chick fragrance that I'm not nearly cool or "boss" babe enough to pull off but it worked for her. Reminded me of a girl in a black leather jacket & boots.

I decluttered Chloe Nomad EDP , as you said I don't know what I was thinking..and I have repurchased it...I am happy now 😊. I adore Balenciaga Florabotanica so I have a 100ml bottle.backup. also Valentino Donna I cannot get enough of it...this is a great video as usual thank you.

So far I have no declutter regrets. I test and trial properly before letting them go. Coco Noir is a forever fragrance for me. I will always have it, its so classy and timeless
Hi!!!!! Omg, love it!!! I've brought a few back into my collection too! Just brought back Fatale Intense from Agent provocateur and Crystal Rose from Swiss Arabian. Crystal Rose smells identical to Roses Vanille from Mancera; it's one third of the price tag though.
Earlier this year I brought back Florabotanica and The Only One Intense. Both were perfect in fall!
Is crystal rose gourmand? Would you say it’s sexy? So many conflicting reviews everywhere, I can’t decide if I should get it
Over 300 perfumes in my collection and never decluttered. Talking about fresh rose, my latest favourite is Perris Monte Carlo Rose de Taif, very prominent and sparkly, another one is Xerjoff from the Star collection Rose Gold and the bottle is stunning.
I was like "yay! She brought The Only One and Coco Noir back! 👏😄. I have The Only One and it is not going anywhere. I have smelled Coco Noir and it's on my wishlist as a Christmas gift. I have a sample of Narciso Rouge and I think it's a very interesting perfume. Very nice to wear during this holiday season I think.
Once I declutter I never bring them back because I try to focus my attention to try the hundreds of other perfumes that exist (I should really, but the urge hasn’t been very strong)... but I still think of a couple of them. Crystal Noir, Florabotanica, Kayali Elixir, & Si Passione. They were all great performers with strong projection. I was a little intimidated of them early on in my perfume journey but I really do miss them. I remember people complimenting these scents too, sometimes I regret letting them go.
I haven't decluttered any yet since I started collecting again but I know I should. I have a bunch I don't reach for. I have switched to buying travel sprays or decant and only ordering full sizes of the ones I end up loving. I just ordered some Chanel to test out: CM EDP and Intense, No.5 L'eau, Coco Noir. Can't wait! I only own 1 Chanel, Chance Eau Tendre.
I got rid of Si Fiori. Now I hear it's going to be discontinued, I want it back. It's was and is a lovely scent which I wish I still had in my collection. I also got rid of Mugler Aura. Such a unique scent which I wish was still in my collection too
I went tying fiori like 5 times as they don't give out samples anymore , i tried hard but still couldn't love it, it just doesn't work for me but when i hear ppl talk Abt it i feel i will just get it
I decluttered my L’Interdit from Givenchy because I also have Kayali’s Deja Vu white flower and I thought they were so similar that I didn’t need both but ever since I’ve been missing it so much! In my opinion L’Interdit is way more sparkling and sophisticated where as the Kayali is more flirty/playful white floral so I plan on bringing it back into my collection soon ☺️
Also LOVE narciso rouge, bought it based on your review a while back and have been in love with it since, it gives me Marilyn Monroe vibes lol 😂❤️
I can totally see that; your description of l’interdit versus deja vu.
I used that black XS (2007) version, it was really good, so when I see people talking about it now and putting it down I feel really bad because I used to really love it, now it makes sense that they might have the newer formulation. I would say if you can find the 2007 version give it a try, I’m pretty sure you would love it. Meanwhile two perfumes I regret decluttering are Shaghaf oud and Gemma di paradiso and I have added Gemma back to my collection because couple of days after I sold it I wore a sweatshirt I spray it on and it smelled sooooo good and I had to add it back to my collection, Shaghaf I still haven’t added back but thinking about it especially for this time of the year.
I just purchased D&G The Only One after saying I wouldn’t FB it ☺️. I also brought back La Nuit Trésor Nude (🥥❤️) which I decluttered in favour of Hibiscus Palm & Terracotta. Let’s just say now the whole peachy-juice family has been reunited.
I’m grateful I can sniff & smell anything after briefly being anosmic from surgery. Glad I didn’t declutter everything~🤦🏻♀️!

The 2007 version of Black XS was so strong! I wore it when I was 16 and I still vividly remember the smell now. I wanted to rebuy it but didn't know about the reformulation, such a shame..
Got rid of 7 virtues Vanilla Woods, Kayali Vanilla, Lancôme La Nuit Tresor a la Folie in the beginning of my fragrance journey but ended up repurchasing them all. Will keep them all except maybe the Lancôme. I was on a niche kick for a while but now that I’ve matured with my fragrance taste, I realized I like to have full bottles of more basic easy reach perfumes.
Also forgot I brought back Fenty Perfume (hit or miss with people but I feel like that profile is missing from my collection) and the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush and Cheirosa 40 body sprays because I’ve come to appreciated body sprays more recently.
I was recently in love with the idea of Black XS by Paco Rabanne due to the cranberry note. I watched lots and lots of TH-cam reviews where I became aware of the new formulation. The majority of the reviewers recommended the older version, even though it is an edt, so I went on a hunt. I found it on FragranceX (they have both the old and new formulation). I nearly bought it but decided I’d better try to find a sample, which I did, on eBay. Once I tried it, I realized I did not like it. It’s just not for me, but for those who are still interested, eBay and FragranceX has the older version. Good luck!

Dune from Dior was all time favourite, now it just doesn't work , i tried really hard to love it back , may be i will take a spray and see if the dry down works
So I let go The only one like 1-2 yrs ago, however I do really love it and said the same as you “ what was I thinking “ husband said he didn’t care for it! I got compliments from my manicurist. She hugged me and pulled back and said “ you smell amazing “ I guess what happened to me is that for so many years I used florals and aquatics more Freshies. And just had to come to terms that I also like some sweet fragrances so I’m thinking of getting it back ,love the caramel, violet and iris that I pick up in it.
You are absolutely right about Mon Guerlain Sensuelle. It doesn't project or last as much a the original.

I just brought back Kayali Vanilla 28 because I managed to snag a 10mL. It may make me sneeze but I want to have a little of it on hand. I'm debating bringing back D&G The One (my all-time fav) and the Only One - but I struggle with that brand. I'm also eyeing Azzaro Wanted Girl and Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Absolute - both of which I've had before but decluttered because I felt they were too close to YSL BO!
I let go of Carolina Hererra Good girl.... uff. It smelt masculine to me at some point so I let it go...but not it's winter I love it 😓 need it back xx Lovely video xxx 💗

I gave my bottle of Black Opium to my colleague who absolutely adores it. I don't regret it one bit. It deserves the love it's getting from its new owner. Coco Noir gives me the most terrible headache and it's breaking my heart, I just love it so much. 😭

I really like vert malachite and rolling in love. Could you do a video on year around fragrances? Like niche fragrances or designer luxury. I had a 15ml of Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac. "Hated" it and gave it away. A few months later, the person that I gave it to wore it. She smelled amazing. Of course I asked what it was. She took it out her bag and I sprayed myself....I wanted to take it back. I loved it.

I agree with you, lifers (for me) are definitely worth getting a backup bottle. I have a handful of perfumes I cannot live without and I am working on acquiring a backup bottle for each. It’s a process though 😅 because there are so many awesome scents out there!!

The only jammy rose that worked for me is Armani Because of You. Valentina Pink had an Oud scent to it and I don’t like Oud. Perfumes I repurchased after declutter regrets are Elie Saab Resort Collection 2017 red bottle, vantina Poudre, the original D&G Light Blue and Trusardi Donna.

The Black XS EDT is what you’re remembering, its better than the EDP, I have both. The performance is still beast. And when anyone talks about the EDT everyone seems to have had a girlfriend from their youth who wore EDT as a signature scent lol

Narciso poudre and Gucci Edp were two fragrances I got rid off that I brought back. Poudre I got rid off because I it was too close to the white cube and Gucci edp I loved but the lasting power was terrible 😢
I let go Marc Jacobs decadence , but when I smelled it on my friend I felt in love with it again and bought 2 bottles of it.
I don’t really declutter because I know that sometimes my nose changes I have had perfumes that I couldn’t stand and now I love them. I do have a list of some perfumes that I want to acquire in 2022 including Coco Noir and Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford.
I wish I could not declutter haha and be that strong:)
I really regret getting rid of Serge Lutens A La Nuit and am hunting down another bottle now. That Valentina Pink doesn't sound good to me, either. I don't like any of the ones you compared it to lol

I bought the other edt version of black xs by accident when I meant to buy the new edp that you have, it's kinda of a meh fragrance I dont love it but don't hate it feels like a clubbing perfume but I don't club lol

Hello, The only one smells so much like LVEB and Flowerbomb. The only one has Iris and Caramel. Black Opium pear 🍐 and I get hints of Licorice. The niche brand Nishane has Hundred silent ways, it’s very similar of BO except dry down is a buttery Vanilla. Notes are completely different too. Weird… lol
I’ve bought Good Girl Supreme back, I wanted to try it again. I got it when it was first out and hate it
I disliked the regular good girl but recently smelled the supreme and legere and they are amazing! Definitely going to pick up travel sizes to make sure they are a love.
@@kara8911 I like the limited edition of Good Girl, everyone goes they are the same but they not. The notes are the same but I have a bottle that has a bit more musk than the original
Pepe Jeans for Her was fun and tropical but it didn't hold an emotional connection for me. It may have been the gaudy bottle but I felt like I had something cheap on and I didn't feel special in it.
I’m the same with back up bottles
The only full perfume I've ever thrown away was "claire" from lalique. Because I'm pretty sure I got a fake and it smelled like actual cat piss. The bottle was plastic too... Anyway I buy ridiculous amounts of samples and only purchase full bottles of absolute loves (shalimar souffle, Elie Saab edp, Green Tea Elizabeth Arden, and Prada infusion d'iris are the currently owned full size.) Everything else is samples or travel spray. Its due to price honestly. That's why I love your videos!! I live my perfume life vicariously through your channel lol.
I decluttered a big bottle of 100 ml Chanel Coco M. then a month later I repurchase but ordered a small size (Covid months). Small incase my nose changes back to black.. lol 🤭🤗👃 I let my Chanel Coco noir go too. 😭
Just got rid of one that I regretted as soon as I got it. First I tried to use it up. Then I realized I was never wearing the ones I DO love so decided to not be that overly frugal. It did not make me happy.
I had blind bought dior poison girl last winter as recommended from Jeremy fragrance. Once I bought I I found it way way too strong and musky for my tastes. From then on I just never watched or trusted Jeremy fragrance.
I blind bought Valentine Valentina Pink a few months ago and I love it. One of my absolute faorites. What are your thoughts on unisex fragrances? Do you think they should be worn by both men and women or that it depends on the fragrance?
I think it depends on what the person likes; personally I don’t love unisex perfumes, I prefer smelling feminine. Every unisex perfume I’ve ever had in my wardrobe has left at some point. :/ but I love a lot of them!

I bought The Only One & then returned it. I’m not really sure why. I ended up repurchasing it several months later (for a higher price 🤦🏻♀️). I love the scent too. I’m so curious about Coco Noir. I cannot find it anywhere. Where did you find it?

I bought YSL Mon Paris after smelling it just once, brought it home and didn't like it because I found it to be too floral so I gave it to my mom (This was almost a year ago) and then recently I smelled the same bottle again and somehow happened to like it and thought that it would be a great perfume for summer
I recently reintroduced two fragrances back into my collection, and so pleased i did. Noir Exquis by L'Artisan and Essence No.1 Rose by Elie Saab 👍👍🤍
I know these two don't even belong in the same category but since we both love Louboutin Loubirouge would say that Narciso Rouge has similar vibes or completely different 💕
They’re similar ish ; Loubirouge is not musky, it’s a bit spicy/soft woody. Narciso rouge is more powdery musky and lacks a strong vanilla note, also not spicy. So there quite different ; but, could be worn for the same occasion:) and do have sooner similarities:)

Why did you buy the Valentina blind if you didn't like the ingredients already? Just for the bottle?
As I mentioned, because I couldn’t find a tester anywhere. And I really wanted to try it. It was also inexpensive. Sometimes the perfume smells better than the notes look so it could have gone either way!:)
In my nose i think dc gabbana the only one more similar with armani Si the OG, but not as sweet as Si... 😗

I would describe coco noir as a citrusy, slightly floral, deep, spicy patchouli fragrance...thats what i get. And i don't care for it at this point in my fragrance journey
Never declutter perfume. Senses change all the time. I have ones that I live now that I used to hate.
