The Hobbit - Misty Mountains (Piano Version)
    Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann
Many of you have asked for it, now you get it! "Misty Mountains" is probably the most famous track from "The Hobbit" soundtracks. The lyrics are written by J. R. R. Tolkien himself. The melody of this song is exceptionally NOT written by Howard Shore, but by the 4 composers David Donaldson, David Long, Steve Roche and Janet Roddick, a New Zealand composer team that writes music for New Zealand film projects under the name "Plan 9". Howard Shore also used this melody in his score. I hope you like my piano version!
Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments.

When this flashed up on my yt this morning, I made a point of waiting until I was sat alone to really enjoy it. Thank you.
I especially appreciated the return to lower key at the end, it really brought home the deep nature of this song. The dwarves themselves being delvers into the hearts of mountains, their voices being low and strong. It was beautiful. It was like I was taken for a brief flight through the misty mountains by Gwaihir the Windlord. And then settled safely back down with the lords of Erebor.

@@yankyldrm2652 do you mean do I like lotr like I like animes? Yes and no. I can probably safely say that like the hobbit and lord of the rings more than animes, though I adore anime. You?

Incredible arrangement and playing as always... my suggestion is the main theme from the new marvel movie, Shang-Chi.
It's a fascinating score and I think you could make an amazing cover for it!

You're mixing my favourites soundtracks with my favorite instrument so well, so beautiful again ! if i may suggest a song, it would be What Shall We Die For from POTC, i didn't see any good arrangement of it on youtube and it would be grateful to learn it from you ! Thank you for this masterpiece again ^^

I second this, I love that song/music. It could possibly also include the pirate song from the start or something too
