They really had potential to give this show the ending it deserved. I personally think it should have ended with the final battle and scene using this song, with pretty much everyone dying heroically. That would have made the perfect ending!

Don't tell me you were digging the Dorne power rangers and the bad pussy. Or teleporting armies, boring wolverine arya and characters without any real reason to be places. What I loved about this piece is that I don't think it was meant to emphasize the dread associated with the Night King. Rather, I think the piece illustrates the sense of clarity that some apparently find when encountering death. It was really in line with what most of the characters were experiencing in the Battle of Winterfell, most were cornered, with no choice but to fight. Hope may have been lost, but they just couldn't afford to be scared. And this is why we love Ramin Djawadi.
In November I bought a piano...I have not played since I was 12 years-old (now I'm 35), and I started with this song because I love it! The first movements are not hard to play but I'm really shocked how my hands have lost the coordination through these years!!
I have not, and probably will not, rewatched the series after the clusterfuck that was the finale but I WILL keep coming back to the amazing soundtrack. This piece gives me chills everytime I hear it.
If youve got access to a piano its always worth the shot to even try learning one song. Its not terribly difficult and if u get what happened to me, it wont just be that first song but years more of learning because of how much that first song impacted you to learn. its worth it (especially during quarantine-no better time in the history of the world)

An absolutely incredible piece of music, which highlights why GoT is still one of my favorite shows of all time. So many people poured themselves into that project. From the sound design, to the vfx, to the score, to the casting, to the directing, to the choreography... so much amazing work done by people that cared SO much about doing good work. Regardless of season 8's problems, I will always look at GoT as lightning in a bottle.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this is technically difficult or flashy to play. But musically, it’s pretty hard. Personally, playing soft and making sound good, is a challenge in itself.
Hello! Im in the process of studying it right now, but I have a huge technical block, maybe you could help me. Its when in the right hand, there is a triole, while in the left there is a quarter note with two eighth notes. (It appears first in the 78th bar, 2:56 in the video) I dont understand, because one triple should be the same lenght as one quarter note, but in the sheet it takes two notes. Therefore I'm struggling to keep the rhythm and count. I would be so so grateful if you could help me with this Thank you in advance :))
This beautiful, epic piece of music, the tension when Bran looks at the NK.... you expect a big revelation that will explain everything, everything will make sense... this is what you waited like 10 years for.... and then... it all falls to pieces. All these years later and this piece give me THE CHILLS!!! I love it. It's powerfull, overwhelming and it unites a whole generation that was raw on emotion the day that episode aired. It's impressive.
This matchs perfectly my feelings for the ending of GOT. After all that suffering, after all those sacrifices, at the end of the cruelest trip... Nothing. Just cold and underserved sadness. Amazing music.
This one in particular sounds like he broke the main theme into two separate songs towards the end. One's constantly throwing it's notes in an upswing, and the other returning down to the same monotonous pattern, both duking it out in a massive crescendo. Dude literally made the Song of Ice and Fire.
This piece is a MASTERPIECE. Game Of Thrones' music, as a whole, has been magnificent. On par with Lord of the Rings soundtrack, and most of Hans Zimmer's work, as well.
You look out a glass pane as the sky slowly darkens. You see a figure walking slowly oh so slowly and you notice that a light flurry of snow followed him. It's a slow cold dread, what you feel as you watch on. Your looking at it through glass, if you reach out you can almost touch the flurry of white soft snow. You see more figures as the snow grows thicker and the sky darker. It's all blue and white, the world outside the glass. Its hauntingly beautiful, the still quiet, but something in the air makes the hair on the back of your neck stand. You see a reflection in the glass, you turn to see him, the first figure. He just stares at you unmoving as you shiver suddenly cold. He unsheath's a sword made of ice looking you down and moves so swiftly you cant react and the world turns black as the night that had fallen.
Wow. This is great. I don't really care much for the main opening song of the show. But this is the best song from that show. And one of the best music from a show ever.

This one in particular sounds like he broke the main theme into two separate songs towards the end. One's constantly throwing it's notes in an upswing, and the other returning down to the same monotonous pattern, both duking it out in a massive crescendo. Dude literally made the Song of Ice and Fire.

This piece is a MASTERPIECE. Game Of Thrones' music, as a whole, has been magnificent. On par with Lord of the Rings soundtrack, and most of Hans Zimmer's work, as well.

Music gave the Series beauty
You look out a glass pane as the sky slowly darkens. You see a figure walking slowly oh so slowly and you notice that a light flurry of snow followed him. It's a slow cold dread, what you feel as you watch on. Your looking at it through glass, if you reach out you can almost touch the flurry of white soft snow. You see more figures as the snow grows thicker and the sky darker. It's all blue and white, the world outside the glass. Its hauntingly beautiful, the still quiet, but something in the air makes the hair on the back of your neck stand. You see a reflection in the glass, you turn to see him, the first figure. He just stares at you unmoving as you shiver suddenly cold. He unsheath's a sword made of ice looking you down and moves so swiftly you cant react and the world turns black as the night that had fallen.
Wow. This is great. I don't really care much for the main opening song of the show. But this is the best song from that show. And one of the best music from a show ever.
