Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann
You asked for it several times, now you get it! The soundtracks from the LOTR trilogy by Howard Shore have countless wonderful themes that could be turned into a 20-minute piano medley. My goal was rather to present you the best of these soundtracks in a short and crisp version. For this, I have picked out what I think are the most important themes from the trilogy:
- The Shire Theme ("In Dreams"): 0:02, 1:11
- The Fellowship Theme: 0:50, 3:05
- Rohan Theme ("The Riders of Rohan"): 1:41
- Gondor Theme ("Minas Tirith"): 2:32
In addition, I've revised my effects and layout a bit. I hope you enjoy it!

Brings a tear to my eye. I raised my son alone and we would have, “Lord” nights and fall asleep on the couch to one of the three movies. This was something that went on for years. He’s all grown up now and off doing his own thing. I can’t watch any of the LOTRs now because it makes me miss those days too much.

This score is honestly the single most peaceful and inspiring thing my whole world and on piano it is very well done.

The beginning of this song just makes me so nostalgic. Like, I remember the happy, carefree hobbit Frodo was and how he never came to that again, after everything he suffered.
I have watched this over and over about 20 times now, everyday I come home from school, I listen to this at least 3 times. And I can't stress enough how amazed I am. This inspires me to learn this myself. So thank you so much for this contribution to youtube!

As a father, I long for a day where I just have nothing to do for 15 hours and can just binge watch the extended versions of all the LotR movies. Some of the most iconic music ever put in a movie.

Watched the trilogy for the first time yesterday and when I heard this again now knowing the emotions with it, I immediately started crying. What a masterpiece this version and those movies were 👏🏻

Man, the wave of nostalgia. I can remember when I was like 9-10 and watched the movies for the first time.
One does not simply find words to describe how great this was! First half was so beautiful I almost began crying, and it was a really close thing; if the whole video would've been as beautiful I have no doubt that would've happened. But then came the second half, and I watched on in stunned silence, awed by the level of your skill.
This is hauntingly beautiful.
When i listen this music, i can see beautiful landscapes, greenary, friendship and an epic advanture ahead.
Wtf.... I'm like really homesick for Lotr now... This instantly makes me think of absolutely EVERYTHING. Lotr is really on an entirely different level. Just amazing.
Makes me wanna go back and watch the whole extended trilogy again. So good.

LOTR movies. Hands down perfectly executed. Cannot nor will ever need to remake those movies. Beautifully done.
The only need would be to take out the scenes that aren’t from the book, but other than that, LOTR is the best movie I have watched.
