Nice repot. Very pretty orchid. We are bracing for a nasty winter storm due this coming Sunday into Monday. Then super cold. 🥶. Been doing some repots myself. I’ll get mold too. Could never figure out why. I always sprayed roots with hydrogen peroxide . I’ll have to try the Physan. Hugs and hope your back gets better. 🥰💕👏💞

I’m just getting caught up on watching your videos. I hope you’re doing better now compared to 12 days ago! I understand your love/hate relationship with steroids. I hate the difficulty sleeping among other things but you are right. Sometimes, there isn’t much choice.
I always enjoy repotting videos. Thanks for sharing this!

@lindaannb Hey hon, thanks! I appreciate that someone else understands! I finally got a pain shot for my back. But then my husband wrecked our car. That's been stressful. I'm glad he's ok. Everything else is what it is! I got a tooth pulled too which has made me feel really ill. 2025 has not been kind to me so far! 🥺🤣 Hopefully it gets better from here! Appreciate your support dear friend! 🤗🌹🩷💚

I guess it is nice living here because I can just take that outside and blast it with the jet nozzle on the hose, rather than cutting through roots. Now I see why you threw your back out.

Great dividing of your beautiful orchid. One day I noticed some of that nasty mold in one of our Oncydium. I also treated it with physan 20. Then, I was wonder if too much mycorrhizal fungi may cause this as well? I purchased a small bag, and I sprinkled some in my new pot, I just wonder/ Hum? Hope you get to sleep Paula; I don't want you to feel like that. Be blessed!

Hey hon, yea I'm not sure what's happened in that pot! 😂it was definitely an over load of something! It sure didn't hurt the roots or the plant. So it seemed to be ok with what was going on in the pot, for now. 😂 Thanks hon, I think my body will settle down eventually. When there is a flare up it's really miserable 😢 I can't wait to get through it! 😂Hope you have a wonderful weekend 🤗 🌹 🩷 💚

Hi Paula! 😊 Would it be possible to ask for a video of when would you let orchids to bloom and when not?
I just realized that I have been buying mostly seedlings or young orchids, so blooming sized are new to me and mine are getting there.
Thank you for this video and wow: those roots!

If say, you potted a “bag baby” in what might be too big of a pot. Could that have an affect on blooming, and would you consider potting it back down?

@franricks1608 Hey hon, not too likely unless being over potted it stayed too wet and rotted the roots. If it's a vigorous plant it maybe alright if it has a lot of roots. Generally if all is well with the plant, it shouldn't affect blooms. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful weekend 🤗🌹🩷💚

@@hillbillyorchids I just thought that might keep them from blooming. I use pebbles and lava rock like Rick. I don’t think I have a problem overwatering. I probably just need to practice patience. Thank you.

Hey hon, oh if you use lava rock then there is no way over potting is a factor. It's necessary to over pot because of lava rock. Plus it won't allow it to be too soggy or what not. I did do a video for Monday on Size matters 😂 it's a guide to non blooming plants vs seedlings. Also it's about when to allow blooms or not. It was viewers request. Patience can be tricky. But it will fly by before you know it. Hope you have time to watch it Monday. 😊
