I’m not sure about cats but for dogs there are lots of bones and tooth brush type foods for them. When life throws you lemons, 🍋 lift up your head and say a prayer to Jesus. Oh Paula..so sorry about your kitty. Just this morning, I decided to ditch the dry food for my Ozzy. I noticed signs of dehydration, so I'm only feeling wet food,pumpkin, and sardines in olive oil . He had surgery last summer, and all his numbers were normal. I lost his brother 7 years ago from diabetes 😢 so I know you are feeling lost, to say the least. If only they could talk and tell you. Hi Paula, I'm so, so, sorry what you are going through. I had cats for 25 years (wet food in the morning and evening, always a water bowl and one for dry food for the little hunger in between). Most of my meows were from shelters. One cat died of ill kidneys too but it was 'inborn'. She was only 3 years old. In the vet clinic docs were astound that my 'Mieze' was still alive bc of the high creatinine values. If its any comfort at all they don't have pain with kidney failures, they feel 🤮all the time. An easy trick to find out if your cat is dehydrated is to squeeze the fury skin on the back of the cat (along the spine) and pull it upwards. If the skin doesn't pull back immediately then its time to be a bit worried. You have no idea how often my cats gave me strange 👀when I checked them. Your dear cat is waiting for you at the end of the rainbow. Many 😘and 'keep your ears stiff'❣

I am so sorry to hear about your kitten I am a cat and dog owner but I will use your advice I didn’t know that but my cat does drink a full cat bowel one time a day . But I will give him more fluids (water) and chicken stock
