Hi, Roger! Thank you for this lovely and informative video. I smile while I watch it, as I remember how you used to think about Cymbidiums. I am glad you got to buy those beauties!😊
All that was stopping me was 'storage' - this place is much larger than the old place and coming up with mobile staging was the thing that made the Cymbidiums possible.
Your plants look Healthy, even the sick one. If you split your miniature one, the real one. I will be willing to buy one portion. Thanks for the video, keep warm, the mild weather is tempered with the damp.
A local garden center that I haven't been to before had specimen size cymbidiums today. I've never tried to grow one since I've never seen one available locally before. They seem easy since they're mostly in potting soil and grown outdoors during summer. Should I get one for my grandmother's 91st birthday this month? I posted a short video showing them off today.
I have mine in potting soil and they do well, easy plant to keep. Buy it for your gran and take it home when it's done flowering, she can enjoy the flowers, you take the green home for next year 😁

Nice cymbidiums. Thanks
Thanks.
Nice look and you are doing well with them.
Thanks - they do take up a lot of room but then they are easy to look after.
Thanks for the video. ❤ The last Cymbidium is pretty impressive! 😮
You're welcome - and thanks.
Thanks Roger. Nice video.
You're welcome.
Great blooms and plants
Thanks.
Beautiful cymbidiums! Keep warm.
Thanks.
Roger, thanks for this informative video ❤
I like cymbidium but not enough room in my small apartment 😊
They do take up a lot of space.

Will you be putting your cymbidiums outside in summer? If you do, how will that work? Thank you. Love your videos
Yes - they go out on the staging they're on now - it has wheels.
Can't wait to see you try and stake that Tiger Tail 😁
I seem to remember that the spikes on this one are self-supporting (hopefully).
I would disagree on pot size, they can and will fill a large pot with roots in a good summer 😉

Buying an orchid is a personal choice.

Too bad we can't fast forward bloom times the way we can videos! Ah orchids, how you teach us patience indeed. 😁😁
Although I really don't like these 2-3 months of the year, I also know they will 'fly by'.
