I concur. Toyota is still a better overall truck, however, I will never overpay. Resale value? If you buy a Toyota, reselling is not a thought. I have 22 Off-road and I'll drive until the wheels fall off.

I got my Canyon At4 in the Desert sand metallic about a month ago and man it's one of the nicest midsize trucks you can get I've been eyeing midsize trucks for a while now and nothing was as nice and good looking like the Canyon and Colorado. I come from boosted cars I've owned a Civic si and a 240sx and man this Canyon has everything i would want in a truck! power, looks, comfortability. Its a Neck Breaker i seen so many people just stare I've actually had two encounters with people on the Freeway that made me roll my window down to tell me how nice of a truck it It is, i have got so many thumps up driving around town and to work. I say if you're looking for a Canyon it's amazing the interior was what sold me too super beautiful. I say get one if you're looking for a midsize truck you won't regret it.

i read on the toyota website that an option is available for "a factory installed lift kit." Do you know any details of what that lift is ? They literally provide 0 details to the kit. IS it just a front leveling kit? Thanks man!

I think GMC has a winner here with this truck if has solid quality then it really should put a pause to any Toyota buyers because as this is equipped it is way nicer and more affordable. I'm a Ford fan but I might have to go take one of these for a test drive. Excellent review, you covered just about everything. I am surprised they gave you a nice alloy for a spare too... maybe they didn't have steelies.
You got it wrong next to turn signal light is headlight not the fog lights,fog light are the ones on the bottom over all good video
The perfect truck would be this with the Frontiers V-6 in it.
With a super charged, 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine, I would consider this truck.

It took me 5 months for mine to get allocated, hopefully it’s not that long for you. They were having some issues for a while, I think they are getting better. I couldn’t get mine in February when I was supposed to get it allocated because of leather seats. But it has finally been allocated and they are building it now!

Is very nice, but when I sat on one at the auto show is way too cramped. I'm 6'1 and is too narrow inside.

i wish you were able to take it for a test drive and see how the interior comfort ride is but upset they stuck the bose on that the summit white and not the Sand Dune metallic one >.

I got my 24’ canyon at4 in black about two months ago and I had a 23’ chevy Colorado trail boss in white which got hit by a drunk driver and there was frame damage so it got totaled out, hence why I bought a new 24 GMC canyon at4. I have driven the hell out of both and I loved my chevy but the canyon at4 is a whole other level. I love this truck. Super capable. Perfect for what I do for work, and taking the gf out for some dinner, or hauling ass out of town when society collapses. I’ve got 18” wheels and I think I may put some 35’s on it eventually but this shit is too tight. Worth every penny.

The seat pockets on the back of the seat telling me its a 2023 model .
It’s to wide make’s It hard to get down hunting trails, square wheel wells are goofy wheels are round, bed is a foot short.
The tire underneath is a full-size tire, which they do on all pickup!!!!!

12 blocks cracked out of 400,000 engines built. Problem was corrected and GM extended an engine replacement guarantee through 2026 if it happens.
Toyota made some cracked blocks a couple of years ago as well. Improper cooling during manufacturing. Just a point of reference.

lol, while you get more features it’s gonna hit hard in 6 years when it is worth about $10,000 less than the Toyota.
Don't get rid of it. Have 18 years on my 2006 Frontier now; still worth half of what I paid for it new.
You pay about $10,000 more for a Toyota with equivalent features. My 2023 Colorado is actually listed on KBB for only $1500 less than I paid after 7 months of ownership.
For $50k plus and being a GMC you would seriously think this would have hydraulic lift for the hood.. just saying
