Absolutely pleased, and impressed with my 2023 Colorado ZR2. This truck is solid, engine is FANTASTIC and a joy to drive. Price & mpg is what you pay for Rubicon level capability. Just one man's experience...and opinion.
Thanks for sharing your ownership experience. It’s great to hear from owners.
I have a Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon) myself, but the only other "top-dog, seriously off-road-focused 4x4" mid-size truck I'd consider is the new/improved Colorado ZR2. Were I looking for a full-size truck, I'd check out the Silverado ZR2.

I think you did a good job on the review and being a straight shooter with those issues. It is a lot of money and there is NO REASON anyone should provide excuses for it and minimize expectations. If GM wants our money then we EXPECT a better job.
Thanks for watching and for your comments
Can’t you put boxes on the back seats? Probably more cu ft with seats up?
So after 30 minute it was much adieu about nothing….
🤔
I agree except for loose door handles and gas mileage. I think he bought a lemon.
Yeah I bailed after 4 min. Too much BS.
Click bait bullshit
They are a sharp truck! I just hope that mew turbo 4 last with regular maintenance, as well as the transmission
I loved my new 2023 Canyon but the door issue was something i noticed in the first few days. I often push myself up with my arm on the arm rest etc. I ended up trading back up a 1500 AT4. That truck is bigger, but it’s wonderful.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Great review I 100% agree with you, I'm considering on buying one myself
Thanks for watching.
I’m sure I was tougher on it than I would have been if I weren’t potentially shopping it myself. I really did love it off road.
Here is our off-road test
th-cam.com/video/Q6NnUSLvaBs/w-d-xo.html
The dash on my 23 AT4 doesn't have that much movement. The doors do but it's not something I noticed. Owning the truck since July with over 5,000 miles on it, my only true dislike is the start/stop. I turn it off every time I think of it but wish it could be disabled permanently. This thing tows my 21ft boat very nicely. There are always going to be small gripes but I'm overall happy no question
Another video concerning the tailgate situation found water in there. So for Pacific Northwest region good luck hatching green moss. The hitch missing is odd and I am curious why is it missing on this highly capable truck? Is it due to another cost savings? Is it a inexpensive dealer after market add on? Or is it to rain ground departure ground clearance.
You are right that most of your issues are nitpicking. I always have a few with any vehicle. The doors are a real issue. Hopefully the software will be improved with updates. I do think the fog lights need to be with the headlights, not down another level but i don't mind not having a physical switch with s automatic lights.
Excellent information. Thanks.
Thanks for watching.
Love the 23 elevation down side issues in door switches more miles on the loner then the truck ived owned for a week..
I prefer the more aggressive ZR2 Colorado. GM should have made more of a distinction on the exterior, between trims on the Canyon. They all look the same. AT4 and AT4X should stand out more from the rest of the Canyon lineup. I agree on the rock rails. According to GM, they can support the weight of the vehicle and are durable regardless of being mounted to the body.
We are hoping to get in a ZR2. 🤞🏼
Nice review. Thanks. Little long but thorough. Thanks for pointing out some negatives. Those door handles would drive me bonkers.
Thanks for watching.
my 2016 z71 with the v6 gets 22-23 mpg around town, 26-27mpg hwy. I'm really interested in a '24 z71, but would really like the same mpg
Your not the best I get is 17.4
the tow package is an option.
adaptive cruise control is an option
👍🏼
They should be standard on a $50,000 4x4.
@@user-qs6eu1bv1x the truck I am speaking about is the Colorado Trail Boss it starts at 40,000, but you can get the tow package and adaptive cruise for 42k
I wish they would have kept the v6 and the long box options for my ice fishing sled and ATV. + I can haul one face cord of firewood in my current 2022 Colorado long box.
Trust me, this engine is plenty powerful
Thanks for your input. Will see if the 2024’s are any better!
Great review!
Thank you.
What is the point of the rear sliding window ? Time to get rid of it. The back seat storage does suck.
its for grabbing beer outta the back lmaoo
Completely agree with backseat utility....it sucks. Biggest rant I have. Let's face it, not many people are going to buy a mid-size to haul people. So, most owners will use the back seat for cargo. And GM failed miserably. Fold the seat up to maximize space and you have this giant floor fixture sticking up so nothing like a box (case of beer) can fit easily, or anything else. Absolutely worthless. Of course, some idiot will say "Use the bed dummy, it's a truck!" Not always available and not as secure or weather protected. Besides, why give me a backseat if its only use is for small passengers? Kids grow up you know....
Agreed.
I agree. Full size trucks are huge !
I've been thinking about this truck but I think I'll keep my '17 Taco TRD Sport, ext cab V6. I get same MPG and have a bigger box.
Yah it has some quirks. Door panels for sure. Confusing buttons and toggles and screens you get used to real quick. I’ve had mine almost a year and aside from some turbo lag I love driving it.
My biggest complaint is the 8" cluster screen instead of the 11" on the elevation and at4, but I hear the 11" is an option on the 2024s 🤞
🤞🏼
The 2024 Canyon RPO build book indicates 11" screen standard for all models...I ordered a blue AT4 with spray-in bed liner and Advanced Trailering Package in July...hopefully I'll see it by March...
@DaveB4529 nice I don't think I can order a 2024 in canada yet but as a gm employee, I get first build dibs so that's nice at least lol
@@DaveB4529 they might also be talking about the center console screen
RPO URF - Driver Information Center, 11" diagonal full digital display, listed as Standard for Elevation, AT4, AT4X and Denali...the DIC is your gauge cluster, not the infotainment system...
A lot of these are kind of dumb complaints. GM couldnt put an all windows up button because of safety regulations, you dont want an accidental swipe to suddenly change whether you are in 2h or 4h. Early MPG is useless because the engine has not been properly broken in yet. Aside from reviewers moving some lesser used features to the screen is fine.
Other reviewers tend to explain things better or give caveats when talking about an engine that hasnt been broken in.
I did admit that all of the complaints you addressed were minor nitpicks… But the real dealbreaker for me was the build quality and it just how cheap it felt inside
Watch Motor trends review.. mpg sucks and it’s not really faster than a Pro 4x
I was curious about the packaging of the AT4 trucks across the Canyon, Sierra 1500, and 2500. A Canyon AT4 comes in around $50k but a Sierra 1500 AT4 comes in around $70k and a Sierra 2500 comes in just over $70k. I’m not sure why they package the 1500 so close to the 2500. I would expect these trims to all hit around $10k over the smaller model. Also the only gas engine option for the 1500 is the 6.2 and it’s also priced above the duramax option. I think they should really consider putting the 5.3 in as an option.
You skipped the part on how loud that turbo 4 cylinder engine is. It sounds like a 1970s VW Bug. Its really annoying.
Good video thank you
Thanks for watching.
They have optional adaptive cruise. And obviously an optional tow hitch
😉
Exactly. I got mine with the packages I wanted and, thus, don't have to complain

Great Honest review. I wish most would be honest with the viewe
Thanks for watching.
I agree with this person review on build quality of this new truck. Interior quality build is lacking for what you would pay for this. But the engine, chassis and transmission and infotainment is the star of this vehicle
My complaint is there isn’t any convertible version of this AT4x
Thanks for explaining all the annoyances. Those would really annoy me, as well. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
Be sure to check out our off road test of it:
th-cam.com/video/Q6NnUSLvaBs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SHcyDe5GLmAK7Zj7
I've owned the truck since July and haven't had a problem with (or noticed) most of the things pointed out here. The door flex doesn't happen when you are using the door, only if you pull on it when it's closed already so I never even noticed. Dash doesn't move or make noise on my AT4. In day to day driving the truck is great, there's always room for improvement though
I've got the AT4, love it but I also have the MT Tires and wow, they are noisy at low speed (35 mph)...
That’s not too surprising. I think I’d still rather have those MTs though. 😉
Here is our off-road test
th-cam.com/video/Q6NnUSLvaBs/w-d-xo.html
I started out disappointed for you, as I knew you liked this truck (on paper) prior to the test drive. It sounds like you were good with the mechanicals, but not the features and some materials. The dash squeaking is not unexpected. This has bugged me for years in many GM vehicles. Good for you to point out these annoyances. The perception of quality goes down with each misstep.
P.S. Loved the confessional! That should become part of every review.
Loved this truck and was SO heartbroken to leave with this impression.
I plan on getting the at4x, I don't understand your complaints about the cheap interior...Its easily the nicest interior in the midsize truck segment.
Nicest looking. I agree. It was the build quality I struggled with.
what is the build date of that truck?
March of 23
It was a Thursday. Can’t remember the exact date.
The at4 was my choice can't wait to see your opinion on the X respect your thoughts. Thanks
Thanks for watching. Here is an off-road review:
th-cam.com/video/Q6NnUSLvaBs/w-d-xo.html
If you need to use the 4wd at all & can afford it, get AT4X, so many upgrades for your money (I bought an X a couple weeks ago).
@@Torch4Life congratulations ! Bad ass truck
That's why i drive a Toyota.-- That said, my boy drives a canyon and loves it… much comes down to preference.
Thank you, Cory for an honest review of this GMC Canyon AT4. Most reviewers I think are scared to report anything negative worrying that the manufacturer will not supply them with anymore vehicles to test. I would rather have some LED bed lights instead of a ruler. Car size mirrors. The Owner's Manual was about as thick as a magazine. Cory if you buy that truck Holli is going to put you out with the weekly garbage for sure.
🤣
Most are paid off.
And a headlight button or switch.
Yep, this definitely isn't for you, and the reasons you listed for buying it (fitting in driveway and driving around parking lots...not kidding) solidified that fact. We buy these for tooling around the northern mountains and navigating the southern sandstone in Utah. The shock system alone is a big win for GM, and the power they generate from these lighter 4 cylinder engines is excellent across the power ban. Where you go wrong is not realizing the vast majority will have similar priorities as you, while those of us who will actually take this off-road more often than rarely to occasionally, will wait for the legitimate after market parts to come out.
The items you complained about are options. Skid plates, tow receiver. 360 camera etc....You buy a Yugo you have to pay extra for power windows LOL
…and it already feels overpriced. Surprisingly, we liked the even-more-basic Colorado Trail Boss.
The zR2, front underbody portion is metal. Why the GMC version isn’t? Engineering weight savings, no idea
Well thanks. Talked me out of it lol. Seriously like the looks of the new Canyon and was considering "downsizing" from an F150. But you've helped confirm what I suspected all along; its simply not worth getting rid of my fullsize pickup. I wanted to SAVE when downsizing. Whats to SAVE here? NOTHING! MPG? Nope, my F150 crewcab twin turbo v6 averages low 20's all day. Price savings? Nope again, as I paid the SAME money as this AT4 for my crewcab 4x4 F150. Garage space? "Maybe", but we are talking a foot. That's it. A foot shorter overall than a CREWCAB short box fullsize F150, and 4 inches on each side narrower. Big whoop. I still couldn't use my garage any different than I do now. BUT, the "feel" inside between the two IS huge, however; the F150 is massively bigger inside in every way. Which equates to more comfort. And it seems built better. Even the turning radius is similar! So in short; to me, there is no "savings" at all in a midsize truck versus fullsize. And my engine with more horsepower and torque actually gets BETTER gas mileage. It's a no brainer now. Thank you.
While it is never my goal to talk someone OUT OF a vehicle, I am happy I have helped you make a decision you are happy with. Thanks for watching.
Have you looked into a new ranger? Perhaps the raptor ranger?
Aux turns on the Bed lighting if you paid the 350 for the bed lighting
👍🏼
Enjoyed your views and couldnt agree more with your legitimate criticisms. These are some real concerning things as to just why so much seems ' goofy ' with the Electronics layout and function or lack of. halogen lights at this price ? rock sliders that would attach to the body ?? What is that ? I just try to imagine me sitting in the boardroom and hearing some Engineer say yes let's put the button in to lower all the windows but no button to put them back up....Hows that sound people ? Oh Thats GREAT ! We'll do that.... ????? Just silly little stupid things like that. But, at the end of the day, as always people are buying... and thats all that matters to GM.
Do all these squeaks sound off when you are driving, or just when you push on them???
THAT IS IMPORTANT. YOU DIDNT SAY!!!!!
It does squeak when driving.
Give it time. It will. That's when Toyota shines. After 60k miles. No rattles. @@GTGarageTalk
Just curious, what’s wrong with 20” wheels?
Nothing, for an on road vehicle. Off road you want more sidewall on your tires
20" are a sin on a truck.
Off road mean small wheels and large tires. Especially when you air down.
Ride quality.
When changing summer over to winters, 20 inchers are bloody heavy. I like my 22 canyon 2wd.with 18-inch rims that are heavy enough.
The Colorado Trail Boss looks great too compared to the Canyon AT4 but is 10k cheaper witch makes it’s better for me! I also had my Colorado TB Calibrated to 430torque, also you do realize the competitors truck are plastic too, dumb reason to not like this truck!
LOL Even my Colorado TB has the towing package, I’m so glad I didn’t spend 10k or more for a GMC Canyon AT4 , I love my truck I don’t cry about every little thing about it!
th-cam.com/video/Q6NnUSLvaBs/w-d-xo.html
You can add the trailer package and skid plates, surround camera etc are all optional I think....a bit more money yes 😮
You are correct.
I read somewhere where a few of the slight changes they're making for 2024 involve better/non-plastic standard skid plates and the 11" Driver Information Display, both would be very welcomed.
Thanks for this video. No hitch receiver at that price point is a deal breaker. All your points are valid points, for 50k there are too many annoyances, I’ll wait for the Tacoma.
Thanks for watching.
Why you would buy this truck without the pro trailering option is beyond me. Adaptive cruise control is available as well. I have this truck with both and they work great
@@mt186 Thanks for sharing.
They really don't make it clear on the build website that the truck will not come with a trailer hitch if you don't order the "Prograde Trailering System". I've never even really thought about whether a pickup truck will come standard with a hitch or not, its a reasonable assumption that it will. I will use the hitch; for a bike rack and an extend a bed. I'm not paying them $800 for a 2" receiver hitch. If I was towing enough to warrant that whole package, I would just get a full sized truck. @@mt186
Gone is the crappy 3.6l v6. That’s a plus right there. It’s the engine you find blown in dirt cheap Traverse and Acadias
This is a great review. Lot's of those things are deal breakers for me.
Glad it was helpful!
Only complaint IMHO is the auto locker, should have an option with a manual push button locker like the at4x has. I don't want a guessing game of when it will come on. but let's be truthful, who is really going to take a 55k+ $$$ vehicle offroad...
Mine had about 200 miles before the tests began. The g80 will be very familiar to previous GM customers and works well if you're consistent on the throttle
I agree with you on the incandescent lights exterior and interior, however not everyone is going to off road this truck. If you are, you can option skid plates. Not everyone is going to tow. If you are, opt for the trailering package. You can't put all four windows back up due to safety regulations not an oversight by GMC. Btw the AT4 is moving to a full gauge cluster for 2024.
The window thing is incorrect. Other GM vehicles have express up/down. Otherwise, yes valid points. I, as someone who really wanted to buy this truck before, now have hesitations on how well it will physically hold up over the first year…
Things the manufacturers changed that I, and probably most people, did not ask to be changed and absolutely hate.
1. Switch to electric power steering from hydraulic (Yes, everyone noticed it and hates it.)
2. V6 engine to 4 cylinder engine.
3. Digitization of everything.
4. Lowering of steering wheel and dash (positioning is identical a prius and make drive feel like they're driving on top of the car, rather than inside).
5. Smaller rear door window. (Why slop the bottom trim upwards? Makes look cheap).
I should note everything that changed saves the manufacturer money in production even though they charge more now. Good job from the shareholders, that is if you magically sell them.
Down the road when the center screen fails, it won't be possible to control half of or all of the features on new vehicles. I imagine they will be very expensive to replace. Call me an old analog guy, but simple usually lasts and is easier to fix.
Is GM that screen will die soon.

Only had time to watch the first half....but I agree, plastic up front is cheap and so is attaching the rock sliders to the body.....
Thanks for watching.
If you look at the ZR2s, the rock sliders are mounted to the frame, and those circles are unused. I don't know what those holes are for in the body, but I dont think it's for the rock sliders.
They need to offer more engine options. The 2.7 liter 4 banger is a deal killer.
It really isn’t once you get in it. That motor is strong. (Though I would still always love a V8…😂)
I have that engine and it is FANTASTIC.
@docholliday6285 it's a killer engine.. not to mention same hp as the outgoing V6 and 70 more tq than the old diesel
The average new vehicle costs is over 48k. People have to get over the price. Its average now days. Which sucks. New 1500s with decent options are 67k.The 8 speed tans is heavily re worked than the old model. The motor is in the full sized gm twins for 2 years. If you want all the options then the Denali would be your choice.
Get over the price? NO. As long as people buy them at these bloated prices, they won't come down some.
Iam looking for a nice truck but not too the price n come up short😊
Road and track rated this truck number one. You should buy one and test drive it until 50,000 miles first and see what you think before you review
28:30 you're welcome
😉
Don’t be a hater. 9 yrs with my Sierra 1500 SLT. Quality build and a great truck. But it’s time to downsize. My advice drive the Tacoma and go drive a Canyon. It might surprise you. The Tacoma might be better for an off-road vehicle. Ride and road noise I dont think so. Maybe not if you have A Canyon AT4 X. It’s an off road beast. This is coming from a GMC guy. Good review seeing the other side.
Took it too a dope house 😅
This is actually how I felt about my 2016 AT Canyon when I bought it brand new. Was so looking forward to it but was continually disappointed in the build quality over and over again. I was hoping this one might be a game changer but I think I'm looking to Toyota this time.
Believe it or not, we liked the cheaper Colorado Trail Boss better than this AT4. Though I am intrigued with the Taco.
We also just got out of this Frontier:
th-cam.com/video/iFu6T33Cqbw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mkdnZazl701ornOZ
It's interesting that the previous Colorado had a HIGHER JD Power rating than the Taco.
40 minute video: guy doesn’t like the interior door handles. The End.
Did he say there is one truck that cost 6 figures? for a General Motors product? 😂😂😂
PT Barnum was right yet again
I love the exterior design, but the things you pointed out just would be dealbreakers for me. 1. I can't stand that they put all the headlight controls in the infotainment system. 2. that plastic skid plate is highly disappointing, and 3. the lack of build quality at that trim level and price point. That is very very disappointing.
So you had a huge smile when you accelerated. You love the styling. You said it was "nearly perfect". It parks right. I don't know man-- I had a '21 and just bought a Denali '23 Canyon for the wife. Every complaint I heard could be summed up with "I should have got the Denali trim". On your tow hitch point I feel like you are forgetting human nature-- If they give access to a bumper ball, someone somewhere is gonna try and put the 7700lbs to the bumper, which would not end well. Putting an Express Up button to all 4 windows is asking for a lawsuit when someone's kids rolls up the window on his sister or the family dog.
OK. I just got to the part about the doors. That would piss me off too- My doors don't do that- you should take it in.
We are hoping to test a Denali. Maybe that would change our minds here.
The 2024 models seem to be built better. If you go to a dealer and sit in one you'll see what I mean.
How you drive determines whether you meet gas mileage estimates.
Don’t buy a truck if you don’t need a truck is great advice.
Don’t buy a vehicle that doesn’t have what you want.
GM does some cheap stuff. I couldn’t trust them regardless of how nice some of their products look.
My favorite part of your video was imagining you being the real-life father of Leonard Hofstadter from Big Bang Theory...

I'm in a leveled 2019 diesel Colorado 4x4 long bed LT on 32" tires and the spoiler removed and it still returns 27 mpg highway so the new Colorado can't compete. I'm considering a new truck but it would be either the Silverado trailboss 3.0 diesel or I'd go back to Jeep for the Gladiator with the 3.0 v6 diesel while they're still offering it.
I wanted the Colorado trail boss but the terrible fuel economy that can be matched by the Silverado trailboss 5.3 v8 and those simple controls hidden within the problematic infotainment system are deal breakers. GM attempted to hail marry the competition but missed a tremendous opportunity to deliver a real hybrid or a 2.0 diesel based on the 3.0 from the Silverado, either would have helped it compete. The 4.3 with a 10 speed is a far better choice than the current offering as a truck engine and would have delivered better economy and reliability than the 2.7 T. AND GIVE ME A LIGHT SWITCH AND TRIP METER BUTTON! They spent a ton of money and made too many questionable choices.

27mpg with higher cost fuel, that probably makes it closer than you think. You can configure the infotainment to your liking and it's rare that you even need to use it anyways, resetting the trip is not needed often and headlights stay on auto. I've had mine since July and it's been completely fine
I'd drive it on a bumpy road drown here will test it😅

Wrong about the driver info screen, it's 11 inches.
What’d I say? 13? Thanks for the correction.

Why do I care what you recommend? What exactly are your qualifications to tell me what is a good truck or one to avoid. My recommendation to you is to not to quit your job.
My qualifications come from testing all of the competition. Obviously these are all my opinions, make your own decision.
2014 Cadillac had all of interior that they got now😅
Best looking mid-size P/U Too bad it is a GM product, 4banger turbo will not last 200k miles and has way too many electronics to cause problems, needs Nissan, Toyota, and Honda reliability
🤔
@@GTGarageTalk long term, GM(and definitely ford) have proven themselves to just not last…. I agree with every point you make and I live in Michigan! We love the big three up here, but sadly, the quality is not up to snuff…. I’m debating switching to the dreaded Japan 🇯🇵…. Would love to support domestic but it gets harder and harder year after year 🤔🤷♂️🤷♂️
All your issues are because you didn’t select the correct packages for what you wanted. Mine has 360 cameras, adaptive cruise control, and a trailer hitch.
the issues of not having those things are more around its price as-tested as well as the trim not coming standard with things like skids if it is the off-road version.
That mpg is horrible! This truck could use a hybrid version like the new Tacoma which is expected to get somewhere around 27 to 30 mpg highway. That's really important with today's gas prices!
I was appalled by the MPG on it as well. We never came close to the window sticker. We just had the Colorado Trail Boss and saw better, but still not as good as a 1500 with the 3.0L Duramax
That's acbig discount 😊
God that was painful and not that meaningful either. You drone on like a total complainer over a door panel. I have the identical truck and it has proven to be one of the best new trucks I’ve ever had. Next time you get a bug in you, make it a two minute review please.
Glad you’re not experiencing the same issues. 👍🏼
the interior is leaps and bounds better than the last generation and your going to trash it like if they have done nothing
Because it can look great but if it’s fragile and can’t stand up to 3,400 miles before feeling like a 1,000,000 mile truck inside, I don’t want it.
ok, someone needs to break it down for you Obviously instead of just rambling at the mouth about poor quality , the US cant compete as it is at these price points , with the 40% raise and 32 week witch your probably all for because you have it all figured out these cars are going to go right back to the 80's before its over . I think Bob Lutz said it best , do you not think we cant make the best cars in the world , sure we can but not at $36,000 and have a profit left over to make sense , so every part is a compromise and if Japan is cleaning our clock and the government dont get out of the way were doomed , Buy your 24 Toyota and be happy and maybe you can move to japan and stay there. Just a Toyota Fanboy complainer " if i stand on the roof the roof buckles you see" @@GTGarageTalk
Lol. It sounds like for all the time you spent on the build/price tool on the website, you sure had absolutely no idea which packages you needed to pick to get the features you are missing.
The real upsetting thing is the build quality.
GM trucks are just too damn pricey, I had three Silverado HDs in a row, the last one, a 2018 LT package, paid $51K, to replace it, $69K, I’m out, bought a 2024 Tundra limited for $63K loaded, better truck, I’m not going back to GM ever
11 minutes in and finally the first issue…. Holy smokes
😉
My 2021 Sierra AT4 has all the things right that you find wrong with this Canyon. My 3 Liter duramax gets at least 10 more mpg than that baby truck.
Jeeeezz man get to the point already. Left after 5 min.
Thanks for your comment.
Thank the U A W guy Shawn fain. All car manufacturers will cut quality. 50,000 for a small truck ? No. Poor gas mileage. The full size truck gets better mileage, like 20 or 21 highway.
You’re ridiculous. This truck was designed before the new labor agreement. Stop making things up to justify how you feel. Blame the Union but ignore any of GM’s business and engineering practices.

He doesn’t know what he’s talking about
Good job spreading stupidity / propaganda
Out of all of your complaints with this truck, the only one that even remotely concerns me would be the door panel issue. You keep mentioning it’s a $50k truck, well yeah, everything has went up. It’s called inflation and you can thank Biden for that. It’s what happens also when you increase minimum wage to $15 an hour. Everyone else’s wages are then adjusted and the costs are passed on to the consumer.
😔
Biden?
You mean the person that’s been in office while inflation is coming way down? That guy?
Gotta love ignorant right winger takes
@@MarkPharaoh
It’s amazing….. well really it’s not
@@MarkPharaoh please enlighten me about how I’m ignorant. Yeah, you can’t. Because I’m right.
Is a generic made Chevy?
❓
Generic made Chevy?
What?
First, all midsize trucks are around $50,000. Yet this one is miles ahead inlooks technology and comfort but yet you complain constantly? You want to push “physical buttons” yet your upset you have to push a butter to put on in Terrain mode? Bahahaha.
It *looks* great but when you actually experience it IRL, it’s got some flaws. Other trucks are put together better.
@@GTGarageTalk I own a 2023 Canyon IRL and don’t have the door panel issues and the headlights definitely aren’t an issue for 95% of people. In newer vehicles most leave lights on auto. And it’s so much better that all other kid-sized trucks imo
@@bobbysmith9411 glad to hear about your owner's experience. Every press vehicle I have been around on this platform has had squeaky doors and interior bits. Just got out of the Colorado Trail Boss with the same issues.
As stated several times in the video, I *desperately wanted* to love this pickup because I wanted to buy one. After this week with it, I decided it is easier for me to wait for them to work out the details. I will say, after having a $73k Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (another vehicle I was shopping for my family) I have a more favorable opinion of this nearly $50k pickup. I guess I am just getting old and cranky. 👴🏼😂 I still remember my first Silverado, a 2007 2LT Texas Edition with leather and a V8 for $37k....
"The rear view mirrors"....yeah I'm gonna trust you know what your talking about...lol...
🤔
Just saw a video where the owner mentioned he had multiple imperfections in his paint on his canyon at4. Can’t imagine spending this much and having QC issues like that.
Easy on the guy he talk trucks of all type and need to say something
