  • We saw amazing fossils which were discovered in the Karoo National Park before travelling to Prince Albert. These are truly incredible prehistoric finds. The exciting part was the search for gravel roads to travel on and boy did we find some great ones. The rock formations at some spots are simply beautiful and the farm stalls along the route were fascinating. #dustbugs #travel #southafrica #travelsouthafrica

Thank you for this short video of the Karoo National Park, brought back memories of when we camped there way back in 2006

It is really a beautiful town. In Episode 11 you'll see us exploring the town a little more. 😊🚗

I've watched a few of your older videos now, and in one way I like them more. You have gone into museums, this game park etc. I do not see this on the newer ones. Unless I just miss when you do go in.
The newer ones you are quite more relaxed and your presentation and so you are making them more enjoyable. You are also not splitting the video up into 'Part 1' etc.
Keep it up. You are improving all the time.

I was last herein 2006, so its amazing to see how the developments have come. The secret of seeing game is to go very early in the morning, and take it slowly

Yes, going slow is the answer, because that is when one sees the most. I found the fossils incredibly interesting and it's great that SANParks have set up an educational, yet entertaining, trail like this. Loved it! 🦖🦕

Thank you, glad you enjoy our videos! 😊 We still work full-time and have limited time to travel. We would like to see as many places as possible when we do get the opportunity. 😁🚗

Hi, ive been scrolling on your videos. Since you are traveling a lot, im looking for a area, prefer the karoo, where ill find wildlife, mountains with waterstreams, not close too a town or so.
Can you give me a few names ?
Or even an abanded town in the westerncape area .

While we love the Karoo and have visited most towns in the region, I'm no expert on this or any other region, so I'm not in any position to compile such a list. I would imagine much more extensive research would be required, which could be a fun project in itself for you. Enjoy! 🙂
