QOTD: I personally don't really enjoy watching competive league. I'd rather play the game myself. I've heard a lot that I should watch it if I want to improve, but i get bored sitting there watching someone else have fun. However I do like watching these skill capped videos as they have helped me improve quite a bit.

Im by no means any sort of good at the game but watching the comp league is intriguing for me because I like to see how some of the champs I use can be utilized maybe in a way i hadnt thought about before. QOTD: Back in the day I used to, but then I realized that though I have a desire to be good, I prefer to focus on other things. I'll build skill in time while enjoying the game rather than trying to compete with people who can literally put the whole entire day into the game. I also think the competitive scene does slightly make the community toxic because it puts a set standard on what must be done because some people try way too hard, and forget it's a game.
While I don't mind people wanting to play to win, which is why I play too, I play to learn and to have fun first and foremost. No reason to do something you're not having fun with.

Yes I do watch professional LoL game, especially those that include supports I am maining. It helps me how should I play the champion and my role during teamfight. There are also some macro plans pro players have, I don't know how I can apply that but it's just interesting and amazing to watch

I feel like watching professional clips would be useful for getting a similar experience to playing it yourself. For example, seeing a match all the way through, and picking up on certain details that might matter when you're playing the game.

Question of the day: I have never watched any competitive League play, but I definitely plan to. I have started playing due to the E-Sports team at my school. Only two days ago I was playing games on my laptop at lunch and a teacher approached me and dropped the question: “you ever play league of legends?” Well, since three hours ago, I can now say yes.
