came out very cool. Are you planning to decorate the surface more - maybe with engraving - like the model you used to build this after? It could become a very cool display piece over time with artful decorations and maybe some metal color etching all over the surface.
In time yes, id like too.. maybe have it laser etched somewhere local or even decals for now ir i could use model/car paint & do it myself by hand. I want to try & grind the corners alittle more flush & edged & figure how to get parts on the handle brown without leather. I have the plastic one atleast for display its got all the fancy stuff but it would explode if i hit anything with it, so atleast this metal hammer i built turns the tables & can take the hits & make other things explode instead. It makes for a great workout kettle bell too!
I’m gonna need definitely find the studs in the wall & make one heavy duty hook or shelf.. its kinda dangerous having it up high.. 55lbs of steel landing on your toes is a bad day lol
