We should walk away from the Mount deal. It isn't going to happen for a reasonable price considering he has one year left on his currently Chelsea contract . Barella would be a good signing . I also think selling McTominay to one of the newly promoted clubs like Burnley or Sheffield Utd would be a good idea . I think he'd do well at a club of that level.

As far as Kane goes, I can say hand on heart Postecoglou never fails in a role, he was a hero for me at my local club South Melbourne where he played and first coached. Spurs will make massive progress and Kane will sign a new contract
Going for mount in the last minute of a transfer window while being desperate and failing to get other big deals done is understandable
But going for mount as a main target in the beginning of a window shows the level and ambition of the recruitement and technical team.
No it shows inept business. They demand 70mil. We bid 40mil. It will drag out and we will over pay at the end of the window. Elite business is liverpool getting mcallister for 35mil. Newcastle getting barella for 50mil euros. Those are elite intelligent business. This takeover debacle is giving me a bigger insight on the transfer policy at United. I believe Avram Glazer has to sign off every transfer before the club can complete and the way this takeover has been delayed, if we knew the full truth about how many transfers have collapsed because of him we'd probably all be rioting right now.

I definitely agree that our negotiation team are lousy at their job, but sometime you do get price out in the transfer market and we can't do anything about it. You said Mancity will get Kane if that is the striker they want, but remember they couldn't get him a season before they brought Haaland, despite Kane putting a transfer request through.
