Pundits fail to see that the unfit, out of form and un-droppable Kane is the major problem, and he is going to cost England the Euros.
He's not unfit and out of form. He has no pace, so plays in a way that doesn't need pace. It doesn't suit the system
England are not winning the euros with Toney or Watkins upfront, get real.
Kane is playing in a team that doeant create chances. As soon as that changes Kane will be fine.

Kane is playing far too deep. When the wide players get the ball he’s not even up with play.
He doesn’t look fully fit, has no pace and is never going to run in behind.
He needs to be dropped. Start Watkins at least he will stretch the defence and play off the CB’s shoulder.
I don’t disagree that he won’t score but he’s not going to do that when he’s 40 yards away from the attack. Wondering aimlessly in the middle of the park. He’s been useless and still stays on the pitch.

I agree, Kane has had a tough season and it has showed throughout the tournament, drop him from the start and get Toney and Watkins together up front. We need to really attack Slovakia, they're better than they're given credit for.
Pundits put too much faith in players "coming good later" or having a huge turn around in form. If we're being honest even great players can have a bad run of games and you either rotate someone else in to try something, or you're basically letting go of the wheel and hope that you don't drive off the road. You don't have 38 league games in the Euros to hope that your out-of-form player will find his form later, one bad result and you're out.

I am so over this over-hyping of Trents passing. HAVE YOU WATCHED THE GAMES??? He repeatedly was placing passes behind players, and hitting long switches that would go out for throw ins or his teammate would have to sprint back to save from going out. Not to mention the hospital passes and give aways in the midfield. I dont care how good hes been for Liverpool. His passing was absolutely shite these 3 games. England are not winning the euros with Watkins or Toney upfront, anyone who thinks they can needs to give their head a wobble.
Kanes goalscoring record in tournaments is one of the few certainties this England team have.
In a team that isnt creating chances, changing the striker wont solve that problem, that would be treating the symptom not the cause.
Get the team functioning and creating chances and Kane will start scoring for fun.
I fear for Southgate. Like properly. The mood seems to be turning from frustration (60 years worth) into vitriol.

I have a weird thought that Southgate is going to do the following - With Foden going back to the UK, I think Southgate will use that as an excuse to drop him on Sunday, by saying he is tired and has not trained - Then England play the very mediocre team and WIN and Southgate will then use that as a reason for keeping a winning team - Southgate has never known how to deal with the Foden / Bellingham situation and this situation is going to play right into his hands BUT I hope I am wrong as Foden should be in that team
