Jim - this was so much fun to watch, and informative! I hope to do a "partial relo" to Charleston late this year after hitting a major business goal. You have provided even more motivation!

We definitely wish you the best on your big business goal! Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help you in your partial relo. Also, if you need more information on any areas around Charleston we can help with that. Just curious - where do you currently live, Frank?

I’ve been watching Southern Charm, seems like a great place to live. I definitely need to visit.

The entire "Lowcountry" is a wonderful place to live! I'd personally suggest coming in the Spring if you plan to visit a lot of the sights and attractions. However, if the Beach is your #1 interest, you can't beat the Summer. Which sounds better to you?

Bring on the people! That's a PRO!

Thanks, Ken! I agree. I wonder who might disagree with us, ha.

Thanks for touting Middleton Place! Azaleas are great in the Spring, but also the Camellias in the Winter.
We've lived here 27 years and have never seen a firefly.
I've not found the people friendly.

Thank you so much for the feedback, Parker.
I appreciate the mention of the winter Camelias. Excellent point!
I’m up in Summerville and I’m blessed to have woods in my backyard. We see them every year. Where are you in the Lowcountry?
Maybe it’s my personality but I find many people are happy & very friendly…but I’m obnoxiously optimistic, too, ha!
      Thanks again for the comment!!!

@@charleston4real we live in the Crestwood subdivision, off Bacons Bridge. We're technically in the county, but have a Summerville address.
We have woods on two sides of us (we bought the house because of that -- and because it was not too long of a drive to Middleton Place, where my husband works).

I grew up in Florence and remember how Hugo was such a destructive storm, but we got over it and alot of the homes that were destroyed were mobile homes and homes built on the beaches. I've traveled all around the U.S. and can't find a better place to live, the people, food and culture are above all.

Thank you so much for the comment, C.R.F. Yes, I've lived (briefly) in DC and several years in L.A. but nothing is quite like home in the Lowcountry!
