I just got the new one in, with the positive display. I also have a 200 (gray). I got the Black one with the very nice blue faceplate. The app is...ok. It works, can't really ask for more than that. I did find out the 200 really works well with said app, the 900, not so much. After doing a reset on the 900 (you need to do this if you used the app to set it up first, it blocks some set up functionality if you try re-setting it up without first resetting it and removing it from the app), I then set it up without the app (took less than 15 minutes with the online guide, including all info like weight, height, etc.). The 900 works great without the app, better than with it, no need to waste the battery hooking up to bluetooth. The step counter is accurate enough to actually use it daily and in all other regards it's a good looking, indestructible G-Shock. Cant really ask for more for the price IMHO.

@@gshockhighfashion the algorithm calculates the burning based on your age, weight and height, which you enter on the watch when config it 😆 dude, there are even online calculators for that.

At around 120 dollars, which watch would you prefer. should I buy the black version of this watch or the purple one. and the blue one has better illumination. what is your recommendation.
i have a gba900 and it’s ok, the app is crap though the watch is good

I wanted a white and Black gshock and this was the cheapest available in Canada for the Christmas season.
If the price is that low, sure. You can still get some values out of it

The app works fine for my gbd100 on my iphone 7 and for my gbdh1000 on my iphone 13.Im using my iphone 6s for my gwb5600 and my seven for my gba800.

I prefer the GBA800 due to the 900 having too much of a cluttered dial.
GBA-800 wins for face design but for body lines or overall appearance design, I like the 900.
