I really want to love this plug in. Fear Factory is one of my favorite bands, mostly because of Dino. For me, I just can't get this plugin to sound better than Fortin Nameless, to my ears. If I didn't already have Nameless, I'm sure I could work with Disruptor and be perfectly happy with it. Your demo sounds great, Euge.
By far the best Heavy Metal plug-in out there on the market. There's no way a guitarist can't find his or her perfect sound with Disruptor. Made me a beliver in computerized plug-ins. I know I've commented before but this device really has me blown away.
Dino was the first to get a super tight percussive clear defined but super heavy and tuned low, he doesn’t get enough credit in my opinion without Dino and Fear Factory you probably never get djent, but I used to love Obsolete from the first time I heard it it had it all crushing guitar tones a drum clinic clean and harsh vocals it thrashed and grooved , and it bumped too seriously obsolete hit so hard in a car with a decent subwoofer setup in it .
Sorry, dino is a wonderful person, charismatic honest and kind hearted, elevates others around him like Randy Rhoads did..but…..unless you like this trash style of mashing chords its to me something only Dino does…you can list many bands-songs with the speed picking stuff…i just dont think its that technically brilliant, if anything its a dino thing..great…but not when others try it.
@@britishboxer6875 all I’m saying is he was doing the Messhugah heavy gated low tuned 000000000 00 0000000000000 thing in the 90s and he would garnish it with full 6 note chords he might not be a ripping lead player but he’s pretty good at doing Dino I also enjoy his clean riffs too. I think FF were ahead of their time. The albums that came out in the late 90s and early 00s still sounds like it could come out today.
It is a really good sounding plugin! Nowadays there is so many ones to choose from, but one thing everyone can be sure of.....The guitar tracks will be reamped on the good old JCM800!!!🤘😁👍 Really great job again, Euge!! Thank you!!
I'm primarily a basist but I play rhythm guitar as well (that's where I started). I'm just now learning about plugins through computers. I have very little knowledge. I've always plugged directly into the amp with am overdrive pedal for that extra power, sustain, grit and fullness. Anyway I'm learning a lot from this video. Dino is one of my favorite guitarist of all time. His rhythmic, percussive and incredible groove really keeps me honest, as in makes me practice to be a better guitarist and bassist. This plugin sounds incredible. I plan on taking these disruptor presets and altering the sound a bit. Maybe a little of chorus, reverb and a tiny bit of delay. Gives you that really cool wetter sound that was popular in a lot of Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Speed Metal, Power Metal, Death Metal from 80s-90s. Really enjoyed this video.
I've purchased this plugin 10 minutes after being informed by JST abt its realease....even without knowing you had your presets included ..I'll give it a deeper look now that I know ..that said, since you've so many goods amp heads around you it might be a good idea to have them digitally modelled with the free NAM for example which is said to be now the most faithful to the original sound of amps (and that I use regularly with Bogren IR for a super combination) ... I guess that you might obtain superdecent modelled heads profiles that you might even decide to sell on your site 🙂
Sounds freakin bad ass man. You never disappoint thats for sure. So have you tried the amp x yet man? Wonder how good the bad boy setting is conpared to the classic channel on the iridium
I want to get this at some point. I've been wanting to sound like Dino Cazares on guitar for sometime now and hearing that demo, its almost as if Dino Cazares himself is playing this.
How does that E-II stack up against the custom shop Eclipses you have? I never played a Custom Shop but I do have an E-II Eclipse and I can't imagine it getting any better. Haha
@@EugeValovirta230V I see. So the difference is not as much about the quality of the instrument as it's more about Custom Shop ones having very specific specs?
It's nice with the limited time price but there's no trial available yet. The "try free for 14 days" in the announcement video will only be available at the full price which is a bit meh because I would try it with my own guitar before deciding if I need it. Euge, your demo is excellent as always.👏
Rock N’ Roll 😎🤘Question? Is there a difference in down tuned 6 string vs 7 string guitars. I do like the heavier sound of a low tuned guitar but not way down low, low. Do you know what I mean? Thank you Euge.
String tension. 6 strings will have a lower tension with lower tuning, unless you pick the right strings. Ernie ball has a chart for just such on their site. With lower tension strings won't ring out for as long.
I guess it depends on the guitar ’cos they all sound a bit different from model to model despite how many strings. I use 7 strings mainly if a song requires me to go extra ”step” up or down.
This snare is perfect choice for this style. Really hypnotic for me, because the sound is slow, but completly fills the space....powerful, like a huge hammer in a factory!!✌️😨👍
Glad to hear. That’s exactly what I was going for 👊😎. It’s the same Tama Bell Brass I almost always use but just processed it quite a bit more than I usually do ’cos, like you said, I felt this song needed that 🤟.

That snare sound is an interesting choice.
Yes it is 😎. It’s the same snare I mostly use (Tama Bell Brass) but I just felt like making it a bit ”too much” with LMC compressor and heavy eq 😊.
