But Lorde, being the brilliant artist and beautiful young lady that she is, took it all in good stride and was the better person for not letting Kim insult her. JSYK, Lorde does NOT have an old unusual face. She's quite beautiful! And definitely an artistic talent that has a long career ahead of her!

right! hopefully it will come sooner because with melodrama, she didnt start writing for that until maybe early 2016, because i think she said she "forgot" she had a career haha and thats it took so long to get the second album, but this one, it seems she has been working on it since before melodrama even came out haha, so hopefully it wont be as long. maybe within the next 2 years!

Uhm I don't see anything rude about this 🤷♀️ Kim Hill is a professional journalist well respected in NZ. If you're going to be interviewed by Kim, don't be late and get back down to earth. For those taking aim at Hill, let me explain: Kiwis are down to earth, known for our punctuality and we dont have a celebrity culture you have in America, we geverally dont gush over celebrities and certainly no journalist would survive here if they spent time brown nosing celebrities. Even our prime minister doesn't have a crazy entourage, just one security guard and even that only sometimes, she does her own shopping and cooking. So to turn up late with an entourage would be the height of rudeness here. Also to explain the car reference, NZ is relatively wealthy (we do have poverty issues as well, not to say we dont have a wealth gap) but a lot of wealthy people here tend to be quite modest about their wealth that's to say we're not a very showy culture, lol I can only imagine Lorde showing up in an over the top car, late, with an entourage like an American would've pissed Kim off so much 🤣 Though tbf it would piss off anyone in NZ, and the time Lorde spent in America being treated as a celebrity surrounded by sycophants would've had an impact on her for sure. However, Lorde would've grown up here hearing Kim and I thought she handled the interview pretty well for someone heavily influenced by American culture. Kudos to both.
