      What home repair gone bad ? I thought the purpose of the videos was to teach homeowners basic repairs so they don't have to make emergency calls, like this one. I hope the videos aren't just about making MONEY!

    Brings back memories. I was an oil tech for only one year. The cold season was brutal. Being on call 24/7 was something I never got used too. Came to the realization the job wasn’t for me but the work was really rewarding. Great work man!

    Your videos are more entertaining than paid cable TV! And agree with the road salt I'm in Buffalo New York, with state inspections and the rot around here it's horrible. Not many cars before 2010 roaming around still in this area.

      @jblyon2 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In CT they switched to mainly a liquid deicer citing good results in the states that use it, however they omitted the roughly $1/gallon corrosion inhibitor those states were using in order to save money. It makes salt look harmless by comparison. Totally destroying not only the cars but even the asphalt is eaten away by the stuff. Your only hope is to keep rinsing off the undercarriage.

      @@jblyon2 if it saves money I'll take a bet New York will be the next to use it, that mixed with California emissions exhaust that will rot away even quicker then, safety and emissions inspection every year = cars under 10 years old in the scrap yard. Can't wait till they go all electric and that crap hits all the electrical connections on the battery and corrodes it I bet cars will be lighting on fire left and right 🙄

    dude invest in small compressor[2 gal],pull off 5/16 bleeder on fuel filter[after new one installed]blow air thru toward pumpstrainer houseing [after removed] into your slopbucket.close firevalve at burner and blow back to tank.reinstall bleeder at oilfilter,let oil flow until clean into slop bucket,install new strainer and nozzle,ten minutes tops.blowout lint from burners ,oil and gas.few times blewout gas boilers and furnaces too.summer i use compressed air to blow out evaporators.only blow thru 20-30 psi dont make a mess for your self.over 30 yrs doing this sht glad to see a young man trying to do things right,dont let the customers ruin your day.

    Q: Steve I’ve never heard in your videos what you do with the oil you drain out, or bleed out, or purge from the line into your 3/4 anti freeze bottle tray after the job. Steve can u comment? Been curious.
