I've just received it and I am having a lot of difficulties aligning the holes of the frame inside the bag. I tried to pull from the mesh pocket and then part of the union of the pocket to the bag broke. Now I have a new and already broken bag because the mounting includes having to pull the skin to find the holes. Not so easy as it is shown in the video. My four holes are misaligned...a disaster.
For the amount of money these cost there is a bit of a faff in making sure everything’s as it should be from the factory and changing straps around. I would expect Tailfin’s QA team to do all this for my £250.
Hi Tom, Rob here from Tailfin's design team. The design ethos for having our products being assembled by our customers is so that we can keep them modular. This allows you to get the exact set-up that works for your bike or style of riding. Then if anything ever has an issue or you want to change out for a different option you can just swap out that module. Hope that helps explain a little bit behind our thinking. Thanks, Rob
I've progressed from a £10 pack from Planet X, to a £100 Restrap one. Now worried I'll progress to the new Tailfin one. It looks fantastic.

However if you have inverted suspension forks that required clearance is obviated.
my carbonbar says 4NM max for equipment like aerobars, gps mounts (or your bag). Is that still enough?
Hi Indiana, that should be okay - it's worth testing it out on some rough terrain first.
