I'm more than happy with the Tailfin top tube bag and downtube packs, so I just bought the new frame bag without hesitating a single moment. This is what I call thorough planning process and research, because most big manufacturers have all the necessary tools, machines and materials to make the perfect product, but just few of them try to give their best. Thank you for taking so much attention about the small details! Definitely waiting for your handlebar bag too, hope that you will design one in the future.
Fairlight Secan 2.5 owner here. I have been waiting for the Tailfin frame bags and did not hesitate buying one today. Not a bad price either IMO. I vote for a Tailfin bar bag next please 😎
I've been looking at the Tailfin website at the dimensions of these packs - one thing that I feel needs adding to allow selecting the right pack to fit each bike is the headtube section height, to allow a optimal fit in to that area.
This full frame bag (white R&D) in the background is a nice teaser for what hopefully comes next! I would really like to put my 3l water bladder inside of a future Tailfin full frame bag.
I’m so curious about the full frame bag as I’ve seen it demoed by other channels. I also would much prefer a full frame bag…is this still in development?
GRRRRR Damn you tailfin. Something else that’s brilliant and will enhance my cycling experience to spend my money on 😡😡😡 I couldn’t be more happier to oblige 😀😀😀😀😀 And another great video with quality details Bravo
Just bought myself one, the upload feature didn’t work with a website photo but when I took a photo of my bike myself it worked fine, looks a great frame bag 👍
Can't decide between a 3L or 2.3L. 3L fits my bike much like the bike in the video but without side entry bottle cages, how easy is it to remove the downtube bottle? 2.3L would definitely work. Hmm..
Well, I just got myself a Fairlight Faran. Seeing your frame bag fitted perfectly to a Secan in this video makes me optimistic there's one that's ideal for a Faran 58R? I trust the quality as I've been using your aeropack for years.

Very well thought out. My full line of bags from another manufacturer has them sending multiple replacements-over a short period of time-due to zipper failure. Frustrating, of course.
Hi there, may I know what version of frame bag and top tube one have you used for the last two minutes of the video together with the bike's size? Thank you
I have a Tailfin top tube bag that is attached with screw mounts. Will I need to remove those mounts and use the straps the way that was shown in the video?
Hi Kevin, two options: You could screw top tube pack on first then ideally just run the frame pack strap through the tunnel of top tube pack OR in between the V-Mounts. If that doesn't work, then put frame bag on first (avoiding the screw bosses) then screw the top tube pack down on top of the straps.

Hi Tailfin. Thank you for the presentation of your new kid on the block. Looking very good and they fit very well into the overall line-up of all of your bags. One question: What if, I bolt on the Tailfin top tube bag and would like to use one of your new frame bags. How does the frame bag attached? - This scenario wasn’t shown in the video. Thanks for clarification. Regards, Christian.

Is there a solution for the unlucky users of the top tube bag for the rattle problem? Not forcing users to fiddle around with the zipper?! Are new top tube bags fixed in that regard?
@@RLnixalsversrus The zippers on their top tube bags rattle when riding. Apparently this issue is fixed for new top tube bags - but it's not clear whether this fix works for the original design.
Everything looks like it's optimized for very short headtubes. I'm not a tall rider, but the section between the bottom of the top tube and the top of the downtube on my bike is 55mm. The dimensions listed on the website indicate that all but the largest frame bag are much smaller than that. This implies there would be a large air gap between the bag and the downtube. Is this expected?
My bike has the brake and shifter cable running into the downtube (top part). I think your images/content showed that the bag was flexible in certain parts aside from the V-mount section. Is it flexible enough to accommodate this so that the cables aren't unnecessarily stressed?
Hi Brandon, Thanks for getting in touch, If you can please email some images over to hello@tailfin.cc our Customer service team can take a look at this from you and confirm if its possible!
@@TailfinCycling thank you for doing great products! If I can ask a small question, would this bag fit a bike that has a slightly bended top tube in the front? (Romet Huragan 2 if you would like to see a picture) would the carbon frame allow the slight bend while keeping everything functional ?
Hi, can a litelock x1 go into one of the frame bags? And which one could fit a litelock x1? It looks like a great product, I currently fit the lock into a frame bag but I suffer from knee rubbing. If I could fit the lock into one of your bags I would consider buying the frame gab with top tube bag combo
Hi Dawn, if you take a look at one of our print at home templates, this will show you sizings and give you a rough guide on which lock you can fit. Just looked at the Geosmoma bags. Yeah, I’d say these are quite a bit different. One is simple and one is highly engineered. Whether it’s worth more is up to you, but I’m paying the extra for the tailfin’s additional benefits.
Apologies if this has already been addressed (comments are hard to search). Is there a bolt-on option for your frame bags (either official or unofficial but doable)? I'm using a bolt-on bag now (Niner frame with Niner's low quality bag) and really want to stick with that mounting. I'd also like to avoid paying triple this for a custom bag if I can.
