I have the SD S24 as a second phone. It's a decent phone and it's nice to use a Samsung again. I've been using iPhones for 5 years now but it's nice to see what they've done. That said, if I were to use Samsung as my main phone again, I'd go for the plus or Ultra. Age has affected not only my eyes, but my manual dexterity as well! lol
The S24 is the perfect size. Upgrading from the standard S10. Only upgrading because my charger port died. I can recharge wirelessly, but I can't connect to my drones. I don't want a large format phone. When I bought the S10 I was upgrading from an S6 Edge. Now that was the perfect size phone! Still love the ultra thin design but the battery was worn out.
a very specific concern for me as a player of Honkai Star Rail, my Galaxy 24 (Exynos 2400) occasionally crashes and has a particular animation in the game where it freezes. this issue was reportedly not found on the Snapdragon counterparts. i feel like its not a performance issue but more of compatibility or game patch concern because the game freezes or crashes but does not exactly drop in frame rates or cause the phone to overheat
@glitchymp4 i havent checked coz i never have the time to play from full to drain but the drain seems fair. I always have the battery protect on after having it fully charged from purchase. You might find most reviews cover battery performance tho but not specific to this game which is graphics heavy
@@michaeltan6020 no no I'm not talking about games just tell me how much SOT you get on normal usage like phone calls, insta scrolling, youtube, netflix movie watching or using camera
For me it's not about the money. I just love small phones. They are pocket friendly and easy to use with one hand. I wish Samsung could make a smaller version of Ultra.
it is, because the software is better optimised. i would say avoid Exynos for now, wait to see if firmware upgrades reduce the gap with snapdragon...@@blacriderv
S23 is better, better price, not heating up as much. S24 more grapic power, bigger vaporchamber 1.5×. More power = more heat needs better cooling (vaporchamber) more trotteling😮 so get your moneys worth and go for the s23 256gb for around 500 euro😊
Why no one talks abt poor camera quality and banana blur on samsung flagship series? I bought s24 and immediately claimed for warranty within 2dy after noticing the banana blur. Samsung replaced my s24 with new unit, but still not quite satisfy with the picture quality. My 5yr old xiaomi note 8 pro even gives me sharper image 😢
@glitchymp4 the battery is absolutely brilliant mate. Best battery I've ever had on a phone. The bugs list is quite long so bear me me! Screen blur, clock on AOD doubles up oddly and goes blurry. Volume doesn't always go up Can't toggle on erase background Can't toggle on quick notes Hold side button to power off works for about 30 mins and then reverts back to wallet which is the most annoying thing. I believe the screen blurry might be linked to magsafe cases but could be wrong
Lets be honest, the 23 camera is better, , the exynos is not optimised for post processing, the zoom is not that good, my s21 has better zoom, the exynos runs slower, hotter and uses more battery then the snap dragon battery, no QHD, slow charging, and only 8GB ram, Samsung has gone cheap with this phone. to me the camera system is very important, 3 years with the same camera, cmon Samsung, that is a joke...
actually , exynos in s24 is more power efficient than SD8g2 in s23 :) Power consumption doesnt scale linearly, there is way more things behind. You are just floating on exynos hate train.
This is NOT COMPACT by any stretch of the imagination. Calling it compact is like calling Lizo, "fit". You can NOT comfortably use it with one hand, even if you have large hands. Which is made worse because not only the phone's enormous, it's also way too heavy for one handed use. It quickly gives you the same cramps you'll get from one of the other oversized Samsung phones. From there on, the rest of the phone is the same featureless garbage as last year's S23, made worse by the downgrade in the quality of the SoC. Another flop for the line of Samsung flops since TM Roh took over and destroyed all the progress DJ Koh had made to take Samsung AWAY from being an Apple copycat.
Bought it because it's the size of phone, not a mini tablet. Coming from s9+ though, I hate how it feels to hold, hate how it looks, hate how slippery it is in hand (compared to s9+). Will probably keep it until a phone without a hole in the screen appears, or one without a front camera if that's what it takes.
Here in the US we may have different processors, I have the S24+, all I can say is, one hell of a battery. Nearly the same size battery as the Ultra.

Such a simplistic yet refined phone.
the orange s24 looks dope👌🏼👌🏼

s24 SD base version is amazing!!! perfect size phone!!!!
It is
I have black s24 I love it
It's the best color; I have one as well. So classy and business like.
Exynos?
Regards from Europe.
Return my S24 after five days off use.
Very bad reception outside in the street and battery life is........
Brilliant review, but wasn't S9 Plus 6.2 inches and the Note 9 6.4inches
Yes correct. I realised after I'd uploaded 😅

How much screen on time you get on full charge ?

I want to trade my Pixel 7 for the S24 but I kind of don't want to give up screen calling
i did best decision ever
@@tannerjack9520 I just did too, my phone couldn't stay connected to the 5G service.

I can't do without the S pen 💯
It is definitely a handy little gadget. I have the S23 Ultra and I use the S-pen all the time too.
S24 or 14 pro? Which is better?
@nemke_81 S24 vs14 pro, two Lamborghinis but different operating system
I wish S25 gets 5x optical, gorilla glass armor, 45w charging....if not, i will be very dissapointed!
what would be best value for money s24 s24+ vs s23 ultra
Samsung S21 5G , SCG09 when Update Android 14 . Please let me know.
Using the s24 with exynos, but i dont unterstand the hate. The phone is very perfomant and the battery life is quite good
Great and thorough review sir, hey do you know if an S24 FE is being discussed or hinted?👌
It might be an excellent phone on the snapdragon version. But the exynos version is trash, sadly
Ive got the exynos Version and i have no Problems. Very good battery life. I dont unterstand why everyone is hating the exynos
Any news regarding s24 fe 5g
Sir S23 5G is still good because it has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 its more powerful than excynos.
Still good yes, but the 8gen2 is not more powerful than the Exynos 2400 🤣

Samsung Galaxy S24 it's better This phone, it's not small, it's still big phone.
The s plus and s24 phone looks the same they might put that 1 x or 2 x but it’s really no difference.
2:08 👍 👍 👍
"Just isolate the child"
I feel like samsung just copied and paste.
Great vid

Thanks for your input. We love our picture quality on our S24's 🤷🏽♂️

Got rid of my iphone.
beginning stages of the 'combover'... 😂

Apple user: what's fast charging some gimmick for Android?
This phone is crap at the moment! Way too many bugs, just hope the update sorts it out or I'm sending back
Which types of bugs ?? And what's the screen on time on full charge?

@@davidchilds1443 that's the ocean of bugs 🥲🥲... should I buy right now if I want to ? Or wait for another update?
good luck with Samsung, they are the most complained about company in NSW according to fair trading.

Psst, Samsung sold 8% more S24/+/Ultra in the first quarter compared to last year.
