Currently having the same issue on my Audi. Trying to figure out EXACTLY where it's coming from is such a pain. Worried it might be the thermostat. Wasn't in the spot where you explained, but thanks for the video anyways! Might help some others who have the same leakage!
Hey bro, i have an audi A4 2009. for some reason the coolant tank is dropping coolant and i get a message saying to turn off the car and check Coolant level. at first i thought i was missing coolant but the issue was that it overheats and coolant starts getting spilled. i removed the tank and cleaned it and topped it off again but i keep getting the message to turn opff the car and check coolant. im fukn pissed off right now. any suggestions or how much it will cost to fix ? ... im getting ready to turn it in for a tesla instead.
I think that heater hose might be my problem. I just recently had the flange replaced. since it's gotten cold it started to leak again when I started using the heater
I couldn’t find an O-ring that would fit and have the same quality. I think the ring comes with the hose it’s self. What I did is find same part from a used part. Good luck
The part number for the flange is (06B 121 132 D). I just bought one for my 2005 TDi Diesel. Should be the same. Now the O-ring for the flange to heater core hose is virtually impossible to find, but I know it's the same as the O-ring for the coolant temperature sensor. Since I'm changing the sensor, I'll try to see if the old O-ring isn't too bad. Nightmare to find the damn O-ring.
I don’t think they sale the O-ring separate. You would have to buy the hose. And I don’t know the part # for it , sorry, but it is easy to look up online
Had the same issue. Replaced heater hose, flange, gaskets, and vacuum pump. What a job
Working on the back of the engine can hurt your back if you don't support it by lifting your weight by your hand.
Where can I buy good Audi parts online
www.ecstuning.com/ is where I go to get parts for my Audi
@@PuddyMenace26 know it's a old thread, but ecs tuning has quality parts for euro cars. I buy most my parts for my a3 there.
Had to replace head gaskets too?

A tesla is gonna cost you 70 grand. Why not just take it to a mechanic and pay them the 200-500 its gonna cost to have it fixed. No need for a tesla.

Cam CM what did it start leaking also how much did it cost to replace the flange?
@@shanyu358 if its leaking oil it's your vacuum pump right on top of it if its leaking antifreeze it's the flange or hose
what is the part number or name of that flange? My 07 is pissing out of there and need to fix asap! can’t find the right part!

Replace the hose, happened to me and everything was swollen up including the inside of the hose itself due to oil getting inside somehow
