Excellent vid. I lovr your enthusiasm. Spinning reels off shore can be problematic, but you guys did well.

What a great vid dude! Love how you put yourself out of your way to video tape your friends ❤
Appreciate it!
A lot of great fish! Would love to fish out for some tuna. Keep fishing 🤙
Thanks brotha!
What a wonderful fishing 🎣🎣🎉🎉🎉
Thanks!
New to the channel and new subscriber. I’m up in HB, tight linez man 🤘
Ayyy thx for the sub brotha! I'm from Laguna Beach 🤙
Great video! 😁👌
Thx bro! Congrats on your first tuna!
Mate you’re a legend🔥
Thx g! You gotta come out w us sometime
You should try to put the rod under your left armpit and it’ll feel better when reeling or fighting a fish🤔
I’m going to start doing that. I use to be on the spinner, and switched to conventional. So I kinda just made it a habit
good video and content. would have released the first YT. I know it's hard to in the excitement and get that first fish to get the stink off, but sometimes that will get you good karma in the long run
Agreed! Grateful for what I caught :) I didn't release it because Noone else did and I didn't know if it would be my only fish on the boat (it was 5 pounds though).
What calstar model you fishing 40? Mh or h?
I believe it’s an Mh and it’s 20-40 pounds. It feels super nice!
Did I hear you say you were fishing 30# one?
Yes, my Lexa was a #30 set up w/ 65 lb spectra
That fellow you helped forgot what you showed him -- he got the wind part but totally forgot the lifting.
The deckhand told him smth different so he got a bit confused. Tight lines though!
Nice Vid.
Thanks, Dave!
Why didnt you let him fight his fish? Lmao
Got a little excited whoops
Where’d you guys go fishing Mexico ?
Around the Coronado islands out of San Diego
Wow! The bft were really close that day 👍
@@ashtonsfishingchannel Very cool. I gotta get back down there. I have a 2dayer 8/4 on the Eldorado. I think he’s more interested staying close to Long Beach and not going South. I’ll just have to wait and see if he says something like no bft here let’s go bottom fishing 😝😝😝😝😝😝
@user-jc4yv7eg7c you will get some bft no doubt. They are moving up and are behind catalina and in front of clemente island. It's been like that for years now.
Can’t watch , got the rod under the wrong arm!
Everyone has their preferences
Need to learn a bit about line control while coming off the reel. You constantly have these loops of line on the reel as your paying it out.
Good point. I was distracted and put very light tension on my reel
