We ride one WMATA's newer 7000 series trains on the Silverline, from Weihle Reston in Virginia to Largo town Ctr in Maryland. #wmata #kawasaki #7kseries #rideview
Dc metro is beautiful well not with crowded stations, The reason I like dc metro is the newest 7000 series train Anyway I really miss riding the 7000 series
@@BobNewbie The older trains don't have the new screens like the 7000s do which is why I like them and the stainless steel exterior is better than the old trains and plus that carpet some of those old trains have is gross.
I will never ride DC metrorail again. The service sucks, security is insufficient, attendants are rude and the trains are disgusting. Crackheads even do and deal illegal drugs in the trains and on the platforms.
Dc metro is beautiful well not with crowded stations,
The reason I like dc metro is the newest 7000 series train
Anyway I really miss riding the 7000 series
Buses are like trains I like trains
You were the only one in the car and had the right to ride mask free 2021 that’s what I would do in 2021 if I was the only one in the car
On my WMATA metroventure, I must photograph this car (7349).
Lessgo these trains are finally returning
Nice clean train. But I miss the old buzz from the Breda 2000/3000 series before the rehab.
Likewise
My logo almost look like metro logo
I miss these trains, riding the pre-7000 trains consistently since the derailment has made me long for the robotic announcements
I prefer the older trains better, more character. But seems that I tend to like older things a bit more
47:00 We have to stand behind this yellow line until the train comes.
when they will open duller station, i plan to ride from dulles all way to other end myself, should be fun!
It may open later this year, when it does I will be doing an updated video 😍
Can you do an updated version once the Dulles Airport extension opens?
Yes I plan on doing so
I wish new NYC fleet trains had window seats
Yeah NYC seems to plan to stick to the longitudinal style seats, in favor of packing in as many people as possible.
@@BobNewbie I don't like the idea window seats add the enjoyment of the train ride.
Yes I agree, but it seems they are not interested in maintaining that aspect
@@BobNewbie is so true
I want to ride a 700o series sometime
They are nice, but I actually like the older trains a little better. The electronic announcements are annoying to me as well
The 8000 series is coming in 2023.
@@BobNewbie I mainly get annoyed with some of them that state that they're a 7000 series train
@@qua.thequa ThIs Is A 7000 sEr- LIKE WHO GIVES A FUCK
@@qua.thequa I think they have finally stopped doing that
It took me a while to get used to the look of the 7000 series cars.
The outside is actually very plain, but the shiny stainless steel is ok I guess, I just miss the old door chimes rather than the computerized stuff
@@BobNewbie The older trains don't have the new screens like the 7000s do which is why I like them and the stainless steel exterior is better than the old trains and plus that carpet some of those old trains have is gross.
I don’t really care for all that electronic stuff tbh
How do you pronounce "Wiehle"?
Ive always heard heard it pronounced as ‘’Willy’’
Like "wheel-ly"
like "wheelie"
Jeez this thing is slow

Only one in the car in 2021 means mask free which is what I would have done so why didn’t you
who cares, its 2023
I will never ride DC metrorail again. The service sucks, security is insufficient, attendants are rude and the trains are disgusting. Crackheads even do and deal illegal drugs in the trains and on the platforms.
Sounds like every subway if you think about it dc metro is the cleanest
