As of the time of that video they were being brought in for decommissioning, when the 7000 fiasco happened they have to pull them back out. The last train set I rode was one of the ones they brought back that very say. This video took some time to make.
@@louisdiamond30 they didn’t ramp up returning the entire fleet back to service until the 7k derailment . The 6k’s sat in various yards since the prior year because of the uncoupling issues they had.

The joint part where two concrete arcades intersect with a right angle is such a geometrical beauty ( 23:27 ). 🇯🇵
Indeed.
- There aren’t 5 lines, there are SIX
- The 6000 weren’t retired, the 7000 series recently were placed out of service after derailment

@@ALPTrainVideos They were Not decommissioned. They are currently running in service.
6k’s were sidelined due to uncoupling issues. They were released back into service shortly after the 7k derailment to increase service.
@@Reallynow101 They actually came back into service about 3 weeks before they derailed. Sept 23 one set was back.

Now you are filming subway systems. This is how I know there's not enough EMDs out there.
Yep. Theres a metro train in my banner so you know I'm down here every once in a while.
Awesome video man. How long did this take you to film?
A while, two trips in the summer and one in the winter after the derailment.
WMATA Train is long stations?
When was this taken?
I would assume before the Oct derailment
Mostly before amd a little after.
Why? I do not understand? There is no steam engine on this video.
Yep.
No Duh 🙄 It’s A Metro 🚇 Train That Run’s Underground
Метро Вашингтона вполне хорошее, в отличии от Нью-Йорка.
