Vielen Dank!
Thank you, I'm happy you enjoyed the video! Yes exactly, this is part of the black forest. The "best part" is this road exactly: maps.app.goo.gl/N82ABsejytr5MNAC7
Absolutely love the F900R as an allrounder and I'm so happy that I got it! Of course theres always something nice about other bikes but everytime I get back on the F900R I always think to myself: yes, I know why I bought this bike and I feel at home. For something more raw and sportive I would go for the Street Triple and for something more crazy I would consider the XSR900, but I'm sure that you already thought about that :D
Thanks@@timsessl! I am indeed looking more for a allround machine, rinding about 10.000 km per year. Also considering a S1000 XR, but that is way more different and also about 2x the price of a F900
@@olaf9198 I agree Todtmoos and Todtnau are also very nice to ride through! For my next bike I'm also dreaming about the S1000XR but let's see about that.... I also believe the F900XR to be great bike and maybe the F900 engine fits even better to the XR than the R because it is definitely grunty but can be used more relaxed aswell. Maybe the better fit for an allround machine to do lots of KM on? I think the geometry of the footpegs on the R is a bit harsh to do long rides on... I rode to Spielberg, Austria in under 2 full days and it was doable but could've been more comfortable. I'd be happy to hear about your decision when its final and about your thoughts about the bike you will choose :) Ride safe!
sick video my boy, was wondering if those were oem bmw bar end mirrors? (like the ones on the s1000r/m1000r) i have a g310r and wanted to put them on, but wasn’t sure if it would fit, without modifications. how are the vibrations on the handlebar as well after putting on the mirrors? ride safe brotha!
Happy you enjoyed the video! Take a look at the description of my most recent Video about the F900R. I made a list with all the parts on it including the mirrors and barends. If I'm not mistaken the barends should also fit the g310 but you might have to do some research if it's M6/M8/M10, but K-Maxx should have you covered on all barend needs and the Highsider mirrors will fit just about everything! Like I said just check out my most recent F900R video! Ride safe!

Hey, great run) was wondering what mirrors are those and also have you done ecu tune? How is the quickshifter on your bike? I hear different stories about it, clunky and harsh, some say butter smooth🤷🏻♂️ thanks and good luck.
Hi, those are the Highsider Victory bar-end mirrors. I did not do an ecu tune yet but i'm thinking about sending my ecu to RS2E for a tune. The quickshifter is very nice in the right RPM-Range but a bit harsh/clunky when used in the wrong RPMS. It is a bit less buttery in comparison to say Triumph or Aprilia but it's also a 895cc twin so thats to be expected. BUT! the harshness also gives it a bit of a more "extreme" feel which can be nice if you want that.
@@timsessl Thanks) I see what you mean. I’m considering f900r so I’m trying to get as much info as possible. Also have looked at RS2E guys, seems like a perfect tune for this bike, includes QS updates as well! Would really like to see/hear your thoughts on it if you decide to tune it! Keep it up and ride safe!
@@__se7en__ for me it was never a problem, fans obviously turn on while in traffic or stop and go but as soon as you go over like 60km/h it immediatly cools down. So all in all I would say average heat. For me when I really push it water temps stay between 75 and 90 celcius
Bzw. eben spätestens in 2 Wochen.

The tar strips can be an issue when it’s wet outside. They use them here in the states.

do you ride it with the stearing damper ?
