    Sounds absolutely mega and nice riding too! Can’t see anything on the schematic but does this exhaust have a removable baffle? I’m thinking of getting one for my F900XR.

    • @timsessl
      @timsessl  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes it does! Sounds super rowdy with the baffle removed. Doesn't ruin the sound either, the pops and bangs get sooo loud and especially the bang on upshift sounds incredible!!! Here it is not legal tho and it's just a little bit too loud for me without hearing protection in, so I keep it installed. It's just one screw a nut and a crush washer and the baffle comes out.

    • @timsessl
      @timsessl  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey, if I understand your question correctly you are asking if someone checks if you keep your bike restricted or not, correct?
      If that's the case then no not really. When registering the bike they can obviously check, but after that noone checks again. If you get pulled over and they suspect something they can find out and then it's basically driving without a license which is very serious over here. But I could just put an ecu flash on it and noone would probably know, but I don't want to take that risk.

    Nice riding 👍🏼. Which tire pressure do you use?
    I have an 900xr at the moment and i use 2.4 front and 2.7 rear. With the contiroadattack-4.

    • @timsessl
      @timsessl  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! I have the CRA4's aswell and use factory tyre pressure with 2.5 and 2.8/2.9 because I want lots of feedback and a pretty stiff tyre :)
      My bike is in service right now to get some Michelin Power 5's, let's see how they compare :D
      Ride safe!

    • @Robrecht_van_Bethune
      @Robrecht_van_Bethune 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @timsessl Ah yes, I was thinking the same, to take more sporty tires next time instead of sport-touring tires. My continental have been new since last month.
      I rode the Power 5 on my street triple. Did a trackday in the rain as well. They are very good, you will like them but you'll have less mileage compared to the CR4 of course.
      I was thinking about the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4. Some people talk very positive about them.

    • @timsessl
      @timsessl  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Robrecht_van_Bethune I will have to try them out after the Power 5's maybe! I got the recommendation from my brother who also has a Street Triple and said they were pretty good price to performance... On the CRA4's I only got about 4300KM of riding before the rubber was completely gone. I'm hoping to get about the same or more out of the Power 5 :)

    • @Robrecht_van_Bethune
      @Robrecht_van_Bethune 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @timsessl 4300 is not much, I was hoping you would say 14000 km on sport-touring tires 😅. I did about 8000 km on the power5 and 14000 on the Road5. All depends on riding style and bodyweight... and tire pressure. You live in an area which is like a racetrack. Lots of twisties and open roads.We in Belgium have lots of straights and traject controls..
      Your brother is right. They perform excellent on treet triple. Sure, you will enjoy them as well.

    If you travel back in time but keep the knowledge you have now about this bike, would you buy it again?

    • @timsessl
      @timsessl  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I dont think I would. Its an amazing bike all around and i really love everything about it but the engine is a little to "emotionless" for me... at least in the long run.
      If I had the chance to own it again for a year or two later when I have another bike I would definitely do it!
      If you personally are looking for a very controllable powerband with good tourq all around then its definitely a very good bike but rn I want something more rowdy and revvy...
      The biggest upside to the F900 in my opinion is that its super controllable for a big bike with lots of fun tec stuff and good comfortability for longer rides plus some good power when you wann or need it...

      Passen die Lenkerenden von K-Maxx ins Standardgewinde rein eigentlich? Bin nämlich auch gerade noch auf der Suche nach Lenkerendenspiegeln und bin mir noch nicht sicher was da ne gute Option ist.

    • @timsessl
      @timsessl  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mrmerz666 also meiner Meinung nach mit abstand die beste Lösung, da sie perfekt ins Gewinde passen ohne Adapter oder Klemme, habe davor schon andere Lösungen ausprobiert mit Gewindeadaptern etc. aber war mit allem nicht zufrieden bis ich die K-Maxx Lenkerenden gefunden hab! Achtung aber du brauchst ein sehr großen Torx dafür, mein Werkzeug war leider ein wenig zu klein, habe dann einen alten Fahrradschlauch zwischen Werkzeug und Lenkerende gepackt um so den Abstand auszufüllen. Ist aber keineswegs empfehlenswert, damit verbiegst du dir gerne mal die Zacken vom Torx oder den Lenkerenden. Sonst einfach bei ner Werkstatt vorbei fahren und lieb fragen ob du kurz was anziehen darfst :)
