The thing that blew me completely away were the kickdrums, which play 8 1/16 notes every bar. its so low and loud that the mic has completely clipped it out of the video. Shame they chose to release Compliance as a second single. With WSD, WOTP and this, that would have been a flawless return. I think Compliance may have scuppered some momentum for the campaign from both media and fans.
It seems every Muse album has a different version of “Madness” that can be played in like a Target or something. I guess Compliance is this album’s version of that. But I’m hoping the rest of the album is in the same vein as Kill Or Be Killed cuz dear lord I’m in love with this song lol
