Lol Helen, at my 28 years old, since 2004 when I was 10 and I discovered Muse, I never thought I could still listening every day and enjoying so much every new album, they are really hard workers of the music
Love this direction they are going. I've always liked Muse but as a lover of metal I'm really liking them now. Can't wait to hear the new album. Side note: Holy crap I didn't expect that bridge heavy riff and the tapping guitar solo. Epic!
This is Tier 1 Muse. It feels like over 10 years since I've gotten to listen to a Muse song that has mega shades of their early work. God bless them for resuscitating this part of their sound. I've been starving for it! Such a beautiful yet modern throwback to the days of Bliss, Glorious, those filthy riffs from origins and showbiz and absolution. This brings me such joy! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I really cannot wait for their new album to come out in August. Matt Bellamy's guitar solo from 3:20 to 3:33 is just absolutely insane. What a record! Possibly my favourite since Knights of Cydonia came out.
It’s been 15 years since I realized Muse was cut from a different cloth. They’ve continued impressing me in everything they’ve done ever since - this feels like the gorgeous sequel to Stockholm Syndrome I never knew I needed. Thanks Muse for all the amazing hours spent enjoying your art 🏆

Muse is the only band where I can look at any of their songs and say, "not bad" I don't think any of their songs are inherintly bad, I get tired of some, but they have so many songs I like that I can just switch to some other song to keep it fresh.
@@Tulip_bip I don't love all Muse songs, although it's without the slightest doubt, my favourite band of all time. Do we really have to love every song to be real Muse fans? I love 8 out of 10 songs on the new album btw. Slightly more than the last 4-5 albums :)
I want more songs like THESE! It fits in the sound of Origin of Symmetry (best album) and Absolution with a bit of Black Holes and Drones as well. This song is in my Top10--all-time-Muse-songs.
They've said that the new album will be a kind of 'Greatest Hits' album, but instead of rehashing existing songs, they're revisiting various styles they've tried over the years and making new songs for them. I'd say this song is very true to that mission statement.
I am usually a voice/guitar guy and that's how I noticed Muse, but this drummer absolutely kills it!!! I'm sure he is going to be on the "Wall Of Fame" as one of the greatest 🤟 I think I finally found my most favorite band since 24 of November 1999... Thank you!
Ive been on youtube for years and never commented on anything. Muse were my first obsession, they were my first ever gig, when i was 10 at a bar in wolverhampton just before showbiz was released. From then on i was obsessed, muse were the band that got me through family suicides, social isolation and everything else that came with growing up. I was an obsessive, when they hit it big it felt like a part of me was there with them, i couldnt have been prouder of matt, dom and chris (i even tried to fake back stage passes to their earls cort show when i was 14, but lost my nerve to use them!). In time i fell away from them. But this track has just ignited something. Its hit a nerve and im officially back on the wagon. I feel 17 again. Thank you.
Amazing track. Whats amazing is that most groups go from their style to something more commercial nowadays.. Muse did the opposite. Back to their origins with heavy riffs and added growls and beast solo on guitar.. hot damn.. super proud to be a Muse fan on 2022. You are killing it guys.
I discovered Muse when i was 10 with New Born. Instantanly fall in love with the band but growing up my tastes in music evolved and i feel they took a different path that i would love them to take…now after almost 20 years i’m starting to feel this connexion one more time especialy with this BANGER!!! ♥️

Not many bands can introduce elements of other genres into their music and still stay true to "their sound." The last band I saw do this so smoothly was Thrice. This is excellent.
I think there is nothing "new" in the style of this song. Don't get me wrong, it's a completely new piece on it's own, but it contains a lot of older heavier muse :) love it
I was a huge Muse fan in 00's as a teen, then somehow I forgot about their music for years I really have no idea why! And then this year randomly I thought about my favourite Muse's songs and get lost in their music once again. It feels like coming back home to a good ol' friend. Good to be back musers! I love the new album.
You forgot them because your personality simply outgrown their music. While there is a point of looking backwards to your former-self, there is really no reason to keep it or even cultivate.
Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations all rolled into one - strongest song on the album for me, absolutely. The others are just a bit too poppy for my taste, but the direction for this album means that there's something for everyone. Wonderful
This is the ULTIMATE Muse song!! I can hear sounds from every album, as well as the new one that's a bit harder like Won't stand down!!! We would try to go to as many of muse’s concerts as we could, simulation theory was the last one we all made it too last year, before she passed very suddenly, and idk why, but I haven’t been able to cry since or really deal with it properly. This is the first muse song I’ve been able to listen since, and I can’t stop crying since, and I just wanna say thank you so much, for being able to give me this catharsis, I miss her so much ❤️, I know the odds of this really being seen by anyone are slim but, I Just feel like I need to leave this here regardless

Epic!
How about the growl

That is typical Muse🥰 but close my eyes and suddenly imagining Korn and Slipknot with this sound🤟🤘

You're so cool
Her face is all our reactions to that kickass solo!
That tapping in the solo, it's amazing, this song is muse in their perfect expression
I really cannot wait for their new album to come out in August. Matt Bellamy's guitar solo from 3:20 to 3:33 is just absolutely insane. What a record! Possibly my favourite since Knights of Cydonia came out.
*Guitar solo. And yes the best solo in many a year. Wish he'd let rip like that more often.
@@chriscolyer2579 While I appreciate your comment. Was there really any need to correct what I said E.G. Guitar rift instead of guitar solo?
Ahhhh yes! I think this song is going to have such an impact live just like KOC.
Absolutely. Stockholm syndrome part 2

I love this song but im disappointed for the rest of this album. i didnt think it would come out that... bland.
Muse is the only band where I can look at any of their songs and say, "not bad" I don't think any of their songs are inherintly bad, I get tired of some, but they have so many songs I like that I can just switch to some other song to keep it fresh.
I completely agree, I think it's the best thing about their discography
I love that they don't care what the people want, they just go with what they want to create at the moment.
i feel like im the only muse fan that loves every single song lmao. they're such a polarising band cuz theyre not afraid to try new things constantly
@@Tulip_bip I don't love all Muse songs, although it's without the slightest doubt, my favourite band of all time. Do we really have to love every song to be real Muse fans?
I love 8 out of 10 songs on the new album btw. Slightly more than the last 4-5 albums :)
Same, Muse is the only band I like so many songs from, even if I may get bored from them often
I want more songs like THESE! It fits in the sound of Origin of Symmetry (best album) and Absolution with a bit of Black Holes and Drones as well. This song is in my Top10--all-time-Muse-songs.
I understand Origin of Symmetry, Absolution, & Black Holes are they best albums, but Drones is meh. This song is great but the unecessary metal.

They've said that the new album will be a kind of 'Greatest Hits' album, but instead of rehashing existing songs, they're revisiting various styles they've tried over the years and making new songs for them. I'd say this song is very true to that mission statement.
This song is one of the best produced by Muse over the years.
The “Will of the People” album appears to be a masterpiece 🔥❤️🔥

Best song of the new album so far. The good old Muse
Thank you.
Good on you darlin’ ❤
Amazing track. Whats amazing is that most groups go from their style to something more commercial nowadays.. Muse did the opposite. Back to their origins with heavy riffs and added growls and beast solo on guitar.. hot damn.. super proud to be a Muse fan on 2022. You are killing it guys.
This is the only good thing in my life right now. Thank you Muse
I discovered Muse when i was 10 with New Born. Instantanly fall in love with the band but growing up my tastes in music evolved and i feel they took a different path that i would love them to take…now after almost 20 years i’m starting to feel this connexion one more time especialy with this BANGER!!! ♥️
Same, at the end of the movie High Tension, New Born played and I had to find out who the heck created such a haunting sound. Been a fan ever since.

4. Knights Of Cydonia
5. Glorious

It's such a great feeling when your favourite band as a teenager puts out new stuff decades later and "they still got it"
Not many bands can introduce elements of other genres into their music and still stay true to "their sound." The last band I saw do this so smoothly was Thrice. This is excellent.
Hit me in the feels mentioning Thrice
I think there is nothing "new" in the style of this song. Don't get me wrong, it's a completely new piece on it's own, but it contains a lot of older heavier muse :) love it
Who? Can you recomend songs?
couldn't agree with you more my dude
Welcome to metal bud
I hope that keyboard synth part at the very end turns out to be the prelude to the next song of the album. Love that sound
High chance since verona is described as having nostalgic electronic textures
Sounds like classic Showbiz era Muse and I love it. The opening riff even sounds like the riff from Cave
Its definitely not showbiz, its more like absolution
I think that Citizen Erazed has a riff very similar
And the synth is from Bliss
I was a huge Muse fan in 00's as a teen, then somehow I forgot about their music for years I really have no idea why! And then this year randomly I thought about my favourite Muse's songs and get lost in their music once again. It feels like coming back home to a good ol' friend. Good to be back musers! I love the new album.
You forgot them because your personality simply outgrown their music. While there is a point of looking backwards to your former-self, there is really no reason to keep it or even cultivate.
Muse doesn't seem to have a peak, they just find a new maximum, and this is the latest one. 🔥
Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations all rolled into one - strongest song on the album for me, absolutely. The others are just a bit too poppy for my taste, but the direction for this album means that there's something for everyone. Wonderful
Best track they've put out in years. Great call backs to origin of symmetry. That double kick drum tho!
This is the ULTIMATE Muse song!! I can hear sounds from every album, as well as the new one that's a bit harder like Won't stand down!!! This sounds like heaven and it's full of nostalgia but also of energy!!!!! Can't wait to hear this live, hopefully next year or something !! This gets better the more I listen to it. It has been a long time since I had that feeling about a Muse song. Cheers and well done lads!!!
Great "00's Muse" throwback. Further proof of Matt's impressive vocal range and the excellent musicality of the band as a whole.

It's amazing how recognizable y'all's sound is. A lot of people play the same instruments but no one sounds like you guys, no one does what y'all do, I could have heard this as a new song somewhere not knowing for certain the title or who sang it, and yet feel sure it was Muse based solely on the sound and vibe. I love it, you guys are so uniquely you and so audibly recognizable 🙂 Dom's drumming in this is incredible and as always Matt's voice, overall everyone does great though ❤️ There's so much power in playing, the sound has perfect timing. I can tell y'all put in a lot of effort. It's so fun to see the sound evolve, there's recognizable remnants from past albums. It's a testament that the art changes with its creator. I can't wait to see where it goes next and to enjoy this whole album as always in the meantime 😃 love you guys! ❤️

This song coupled with Matt drawing his veins on his arms again makes it feel like Muse from 15 years ago.

My grandma and I were very close growing up, she and my poppa were like a second parents to me growing up, and she got all of my family into muse years ago and we’ve been hooked since.

Imagine Muse is a person, an unemployed one, seeking for a job, and this song is their resume.
