DUDE THAT'S INSANE. If all these characters met, that would be awesome. There will possibly be a new antagonist, which is so crazy ngl. The ending of this event is making me really think. It has so much potential.
Maybe, instead of a new antagonist, we can see the Dark Side of Dimensions version of Kaiba acting as one. I can already imagine him willing to sacrifice the other ygo-worlds in order to resurrect the pharaoh, and all protags uniting to stop him.

I'mma call it now, YuGiOh will do what Toei does for Kamen Rider. Every 10 years, we get a special rider, who is a crossover character. Decade and Zi-O where the 2 examples, one a dimension hopper while the other a time traveler, and the both of them are more villanous outsiders, who enter the worlds of past seasons and fight the older riders. Protag number 10 gonna be the big bad evil guy of a massice crossover
This lore is pretty much in line with the lore established in the Transcend Game manga where Kaiba invented Duel Links. Kaiba's project was called the Neurons Project.
THIS IS CRAZY!!!! My jaw DROPPED when they showed Sevens world! They're really connecting all the worlds together! What Duel Links is doing is so ambitious and crazy for just a mobile game!! I almost feel like this should be it's own anime.

I think Kaiba and Pegasus created duel links but since Pegasus died Kaiba reworked it into his own thing. This likely ties into the DSOD manga but the duel links system branched across time and space

This is one of the greatest developments in the overall plot of Duel Links! Super excited to see what the next vrains event would bring. However this isn't the first time we have characters interact with people outside their series. Yugo accidentally ended up at 5Ds world and was fighting Sector Security npc. And Serena ended up dueling Weevil on her way to meet up with Yuya and the gang.

They're probably intending to bring Zarc in, and he needs a merged universe. Yuri is bound to come in, and perhaps the four Yu boys separated causes Zarc to reawaken.

Speaking of multiverse: the datamine of Duel Links hinted us about the possibility of Rush Characters being able to play Speed Duel format because they have voicelines about "fusion/Synchro/Xyz summoning (If you wonder about the fusion part, the japanese voicelines does have "Yugo shokan" to differ from Rush and Speed format) which brings us closer to the possibility that All Legendary duellist may met each other in One big Crossover event
What if something happens in Duel Links that requires the Vrains characters to need help from other Yugioh characters like some threat or big villain shows up? Or maybe somehow someone tries to figure out a way to travel to the other worlds. I wonder what’ll happen next and I would love to see a crossover between the characters. Oh my gosh! Crossover would be great! It’s been a while since we last saw one! Neve thought it would be the VRAINS characters that would be the first ones onscreen to figure out that there are other worlds and even Rush Duels. Then again, I did see files of Ghost Girl’s lines saying Rush Duel and Maximum Summoning.
To be fair, Vrains is the closest to Duel Links as they are basically sibling products: released at around the same time, both have speed duels and are set in a virtual world. I would say it's very fitting
They intentionally didn't show anyone from DSOD world too. So they didn't encounter the real Kaiba yet. They might be planning something really cool in the future.
Coping for a crossover show for Yugioh 10 in 2026 - the 10th anniversary to DSOD/Duel Links, 30th anniversary of the manga. A really insane reveal which I wasn't expecting from the event, since Ghost Gal is just "a character" from Vrains. I'm guessing DSOD Kaiba's behind everything in an effort to resurrect the Pharaoh, but Duel Links is growing to include other worlds. The real question is how is Kaiba aware of other worlds to bring them into Duel Links - since they do mention characters arrive in Duel Links when they are remembered (i.e. Celina assuring Yugo that Rin will come eventually because he remembers her). Supreme King event bringing up the memory system and Jaden's advice to "ask KaibaCorp" to explain why the Supreme King exists as a separate entity, Paradox event introducing the multiverse with his interaction to Pegasus, Trey namedropping KaibaCorp in his event, Declan preparing for another dimensional war in his event, Celina even having the off-screen duel against Weevil in her event - and now this reveal for Ghost Gal's event. Even the Vrains' anime ending shot of Ai is strange without the context of Duel Links to explain it - they must be building up to something for the past few years.
Curious if we'll see any crossovers between Vrains characters & the other series characters in the future? Speaking of which, curious if any GO Rush characters will have voice lines with Yuga once the GO Rush World is added to Duel Links.
So far each world has evidence of connecting together. DM: Yugi and Atem got the memories of their anime counterparts in the Paradox event. GX: Jaden is suspicious if Kaiba corp had a hand in the Supreme King's resurrection. 5ds: Paradox discovered the multiverse theory and reported it to Z-one. Zexal: Trey discovered Kaiba corp. (And everyone keeps brushing the thought away) Arc V: They seen the legacy characters but realized they are completely different from the ones they know and managed to travel to the other worlds. Vrains: They witnessed the other worlds through the core. Sevens: Probably not happening until Go Rush world is released.

It briefly possesses Luke, and using the powers gained from the meteor shower (in SEVENS, it's established that "Fusion", and Fusion Monsters in general, are of extraterrestrial origin), is able to add his "The" archetype monsters to Luke's Strike Dragons and form "Hyperstrike Dragon Dragiastar F", one of the earliest Fusion Monsters in Rush Duel. In general, SEVENS and Go Rush aren't big on interdimensional travel, though the events surrounding the finale of SEVENS (with respect to what happens at the end of the final duel) and the presence of "That Guy" in Go Rush, in addition to the events of the Operation MIK arc in Go Rush (where they use the power of Field Spell cards to travel between worlds), makes interdimensional travel possible.
So since we are on the topic of this huge multicrossover, I actually have a theory on how this going to end. I personally think the characters will eventually have to destroy Duel Links should the threats cause by it begins to cause damage to their own universes. There are some characters that will be on board with destroying Duel Links (like Revolver, since he doesn’t want the Ignis to come back), and some would be against it (Yuya, and Shun since this means he will be separated from Yuto and eventually Ruri AGAIN, and Yusaku after promising Ai to changes his fate). And whoever is the “main antagonist” of this multi crossover needs to be defeated to make Duel Links a safer place. That’s my take on this, what do you think?

Honestly Either a movie or a 10/13 episodes mini serie like Pokemon Generations and Origin, that combine every show together, if they are planning it in backstage, i'll say JUST DO IT !! they could do so much crazy stuff, like Aster Asuka Jack Crow and Kite meeting their Arc V counterparts. making Atem Jaden and Yusei meeting up again. etc etc
If I remember correctly from the Dark Side of Dimensions World story, and possibly DM world story, the reason why duel links was created so that Seto Kaiba could reincarnate the Pharaoh using the digital cloud network recreated from memories. For what we've seen so far this technology from the digital cloud and from what Revolver (Varis) said shows us that this world that kaibacorp created is much more powerful than we initially thought. Especially since we've seen events where villains and characters that were already gone are now coming back from the digital grave due to the memories of those who remembered them thanks to the digital cloud or which case the neuron Network. I'm starting to think there's a much more dangerous, if not bigger threat looming over Duel Links. Only time will tell!
@@the_superior_nerd2439 The original A.i might show up too. The version of A.i currently is a reincarnate 2.0 version so who knows who will cause trouble. Naoh is a possibility, but the issue is the DM world takes place in the manga continuity, and nobody from the timeline will remember Noah, therefore the digital cloud system (neuron network) wouldn't recognize those memories. But it's an interesting theory to think about, and who knows maybe he enter the story somehow.

It doesn't mean Noah isn't coming to Duel Links, mainly focusing on what the lore and what the story gave us from the information we learned from the events. So will Noah come to Duel Links? Possibly. Will the DM cast know him? No, but they will have memories of Noah crossing from that timeline due to the effects of Duel Links mechanisms crossing over to other timelines for the DM cast recieving that information. In other words they will know Noah from the memories, but won't know him personally if that makes sense.

When sevens world came out i found it curious that the rush characters got voice lines for the speed duel extra deck summoning mechanics (synchro, XYZ, pendulum etc) and that ghost girl (and probably every other speed duel character but i haven't checked) got voice lines for maximums and rush fusions so its possible that this just leads to a crossover world in the game or a way for speed duel characters to rush duel and vice versa which would still be exciting. Still if it is a movie i certainly wouldn't complain, I especially would love to see how they handle the difference between Master and Rush duels
To be fair... Duel Links IS the crossover method... Also, the voice acting lines that are here on TH-cam have shown some of the characters using Rush format phrases, which would mean there will be a collaboration there...
It's going to lead to Kaiba being able to revive Atem. Atem is going to be Duel Link's final boss ^^' because that's what he says in Transcend Game : the Neuron Links will lead him to wherever is Atem. Atem could already be in Duel Links hidden in the Vagabond and he is the only character being able to move from world to world xD. Maybe Atem is helping / leading the characters to gather all the data. If I remember well, YamiYuugi said, during the Paradox Event, that he couldn't sense evil in Duel Links.
This is the kind of thing that keeps duel links in my back pocket. The lore potential of the game itself keeps giving me a reason to continue playing! I need to know more!
Did...did you all forget this was already canon? Yugi and Jaden physically went to 5Ds world via the Gate (even make a joke that Paradox needed to do time travel for something the Duel Links network already does.) It is intresting that they saw Yuga though, since even we as canon breaking players can't cross the Speed/Rush barrier Also Nureon has also come up in in the DSOD prequal manga, further implying that all the wierd stuff in Duel Links is from Kaiba plugging the intert Quantum Cube into it
It was also implied this is canon during Reiji's event He entered the original counterparts of the respective Arc-V summon-based dimensions, and DM/DSOD as an unknown world.
I feel like the most practical guess as to who is manipulating all the data would be 1 of 3 possibilities. Kaiba, Lightning/Bohman, or someone completely new. I'd really love for duel links to lead into a movie or new anime that unites all of the series
A movie would be great. Or a series where it’s sets up some sort of All-Star type of Duelist tournament. It was original stated that the reason many in Duel Links came here to become “The King.”

The Arc-V characters are talking about an interdimensional war possibly being on the horizon, since both the Yu-boys and the bracelet girls are slowly coming. there's also how Duel Links is able to have dead characters come back like Supreme King and Z-one. what's the deal with that? it'll be very interesting to see how they proceed.
depending on what happens with go rush we finally may get more focus on duel links itself after go rush ends and gets added to the game. the lore of this game has only gotten more involved as the game goes on. and i strongly feel with the game approaching the 10 year mark something big is happening. i wished takahashi couldve been here to see this but whatever will happen i feel itll be worth the build up.
When Yugioh Cross Duel confirmed they were shutting down they added the stories from the events.. I wish they would add the same thing for Duel Links so people can see how the events and character interactions from the past events played out.. Of course that would take a long time to do since there have been so many character unlocks and raid events.. but it's kinda strange how it was up to youtubers to record and store these events.. Veiz does a good job of course.. however what would happen if they stop uploading one day, at that point there'd be no one popular enough to show the events and such..

I really really hope that whenever theres any sort of interactions between these worlds the non-Vrains characters have some sort of reaction to the avatars! Like, everyone else looks like their real selves even in this digital world but the Vrains characters already have their avatars and that seems to apply even though this isn't exactly Vrains. Maybe there could even be a misunderstanding about one of the Barians in their other form being mistaken for someone from their world bc that must be an avatar design, right?
If this leads up to a movie or show and judai's English voice actor comes back to play judai, I will cry so hard. His voice holds so much weight for me. Jaden to me is everything
Judai's English voice actor starred in the 1970s TV show Little House on the Prarie. In the first episode, he plays a young Charles Ingalls, and later on, he plays Albert in the show.
Arc V having a crossover would be interesting. Cause in Arc V there's different version of some older characters, but they aren't the same. Yusei: Jack Yuya says he knows you. Yuya: I've dueled him. Jack: Never seen this kid before in my life...
The fact Ghost Gal has lines for Maximum Summoning and Rush Dueling indicates that some sort of Multiversus will happen. That would lead to Speed duelists being able to Rush Duel, and Rush duelists being able to Speed Duel. However, I believe this would only happen after GO Rush world is released, in September 2025 I would imagine. In the DL lore : DM world is the sequel of the Yu-Gi-Oh manga. (initially was just a repeat) GX world is the sequel of the GX anime. (initially was just a repeat) 5D'S world is a repeat of events occuring in the 5D's anime, but with characters already knowing each other. DSOD world is a repeat of events occuring in the DSOD movie, but with characters already knowing each other. DSOD Kaiba seems to know all the answers. Zexal world is just a repeat of the Zexal anime, charcaters don't remember each other. Arc-V world is the direct sequel to Arc-V anime. Vrains world is the direct sequel to Vrains anime. Sevens world is just a repeat of the Sevens anime, charcaters don't remember each other. I don't know why events of some worlds are direct sequel of the anime (like Arc-V and Vrains), but in other worlds, they aren't (like Zexal and Sevens). Vrains characters are searching for answers as to why to Duel Links exists. Arc-V characters are actively preparing to face an interdimensional war, like they had to face in the original anime (refering back to Declan's event). Only Trey and Quattro's event in Zexal referred to the probability that other worlds could exist. They aren't preparing for anything tho. DM, GX, DSOD and Sevens are all completely unaware of multiple world coexisting with each other in Duel Links. I have no idea what they would do
In the Paradox event Yugi duo makes new memories which intertwine their canon memories with that of the movie special, which built on their animes. Zexal is a lost-the-numbers-again scenario, with the Arclight foreseen world being most likely Barian, but could be the other series by proxy. The worlds most affected by the “retelling” as opposed to sequelization are mostly leaning on their boss encounters. DL in its own lore sought to reignite some of dueling’s fiercest battles, so even if the friend group can navigate new story events, bosses are predominantly arriving with their initial motivations, making them the most vulnerable events to the retelling.
I guess they just choose the options that fills their narrative. At te end of Sevens Yuga disappears so I guess they couldn't start from the end and decided to start from the beginning

I can't wait for more characters to come into the game :) I've been looking forward to Akira arriving ever since I found out him & Gavin have the same voice actor. & the latest box that came with Ghost Gal had Chewbone in it so I feel like Flip could be on his way in sometime soon too. it feels weird him, Caswell, & Cathy aren't already in.
I'm telling you Dylan, what you showed in this video, not only adds fuel to the fire for a possible "multiverse" movie, but we might have to have a serious discussion on what direction Yu-Gi-Oh! series 9, and for sure Yu-Gi-Oh! 10 is going! We may end up with one, or both series being a multiverse type show! It sounds crazy, but this ending cut scene maybe hinting at something huge, beyond just a possible movie!
I'm glad you saw this. I wondered what your reaction might be. It's very boring but the mention of a Neuron Network made me think Bohman might actually be behind everything except his Scale is now Cross Dimensional. Linking every mind as one also sounds like Z-Arc's goal though...while separated anyways which he is. Arc-V has already acknowledged Z-Arc's gonna show up again. Speaking of...in the Celina Event and at least one other instance I'm sure, they confirmed anyone can just free travel between the Duel Links Worlds, it's just we don't have any strict in-game story confirmation of everyone who does. So them being at the *edge* of Duel Links and seeing what they did makes me think that the other worlds might not be so much another dimension but some space that takes some finite distance to get to but is still reachable normally, and the Gates just might save time. I'd love a Movie though, but it'd probably be a Casting and Duel Scripting nightmare getting soooooo many people, some who might not even voice characters anymore to have sufficient screentime. An Event leading up to it (or maybe right before EoS 💀) could save some of the time that would be allocated in a Movie otherwise!

I saw this coming a mile away, and I'm overjoyed that this story is finally starting to come to fruition! I can't wait to see more characters from different timelines/dimensions meet, hopefully in something akin to BBT.
I would enjoy a movie but that would require so much speed running I feel cause you also have to factor in the duels. So what if we had like what you mentioned maybe a mini-series so that we had more time to work with and more time to create interactions and time to build up a villian or reveal
We could get Original Duel Links characters from this. But i think we have to wait till every main villain is released so we get something similar to Rainbow Rocket with characters like Bakura, Lightning/Bohman, Nightshroud, Z-ONE/Godwin, Yuri/(Zarc?), and the most evil ones from Zexal and Rush teaming up with the evil of Duel Links and The Yu MCs teaming up with the good of Duel Links. And possibly creating 4 new cards. 2 for speed and 2 for Rush.
My only concern with another cross over movie is we may only see the main characters interact with each other with the side characters kinda just there on screen similar to how yusei friends were in the bonds beyond time movie but they didn't do anything or were even present in the duel against Paradox to cheer on the 3 main characters. Besides an anime series, another option could be to have the cross over event be a trilogy instead of a one and done movie. As for the game i think the ending is def teasing an in game event where we have the characters of the different series interact with each other but not sure when that will happen
Yeah, you know the multiverse aspect of DL was barely touched when people is hyped about that they confirmed the multiverse, when it was already confirmed multiple tines
They met in a time travel ordeal before Duel Links, so they already knew each other. But it seems they will be adding more lines for characters from different series. And I think Zarc will have Astrograph Sorcerer merge a lot of things.
@@TehKaiser Jaden and Yusei already knew Yugi, but he didn't. Also Paradox event made the Tag Duels events non canon since the 3 already met in those previous to Paradox event, and Yugi still said he didn't know them.
Yu-gi-oh: Infinity War or Endgame,... that's not too crazy to hear get announced next month at Jump Festa. It's still the 25th anniversary after all. As for who created Duel Links? It could be a villain or Kaiba. I'm believing it's Kaiba because I remember they showed a Duel Links ad before Darkside of Dimensions played & the ad itself really felt like an ad that Kaiba made to promote the game.
This isn't the first time characters from other worlds interact with each other and if you use the gate with the Arc V characters to duel Kaito or Alexis or others they'll say that they seem different from the ones they knew. But whats interesting is that the Vrains characters are the ones from the end of the Yu-gi-oh Vrains anime so their interactions with characters outside of Link Vrains Duel links (From the other series) is certainly interesting
i remember seeing this and being like "holy shit, is my prediction right?", since i predicted they would meet up with Kaiba, it wasn't exactly the same way but very close, maybe they are only waiting to add all the Vrains characters before a big reveal since so far those are the ones who are more concerned about finding out how Duel Links works while all others are more focused on enjoying the game and finding out if their friends will also appear

Yusei Jaiden and atem know each other from the whole paradox thing Jaiden even asked to duel them like in in the series and both had promised too but they don't know the others if this is a massive franchise crossover it's going to be massive add the lore of duel links itself this could just become the most important thing in all of yugioh and could have a cosmic shift to things in the future

For me after seeing this video, I never watched the sub version of yugioh gx season 4 or 5ds season 3 and always wondered why Konami hasn’t done this through duel links
The Vrains cast got to take a look into the void. A neural network that links worlds, these are potentially making more of a multiverse than ever in the digital space of DL when later series in the timeline cross universes. The lore of DL has decided to show itself. Love this last scene.

Yep, Duel links is following the manga, in the latest Tag Duel tournament event, grandpa muto and Pegasus team up. At the end after you beat them pegasus says he wont age anymore, when questioned he just says oh well. (Because hes dead, from the manga)...
I swear duel link’s already confirmed people could move between the worlds such as the arc v characters referencing the 5Ds and Zexel characters used different decks to what they knew. But genuinely i do want a massive crossover but tbh that’d be better as a show not just a duel links thing

I doubt this is canon, but when you team with Yuma in Tag Duel Tournaments, I think he acknowledges that the player character can see Astral.

This lore is pretty much in line with the lore established in the Transcend Game manga where Kaiba invented Duel Links. Kaiba's project was called the Neurons Project.

I think Kaiba and Pegasus created duel links but since Pegasus died Kaiba reworked it into his own thing. This likely ties into the DSOD manga but the duel links system branched across time and space

2:53 Neuron Network is a term used to describe Kaiba’s DL in Takahashi’s Pre DSOD movie manga chapter: Transcend Game. It has been introduced in DSOD world intro to help establish Kaiba (DSOD) as the creator of Duel Links. I wonder if they find that out soon, this is truly the crossover of all crossovers.
This is one of the greatest developments in the overall plot of Duel Links! Super excited to see what the next vrains event would bring.

Speaking of multiverse: the datamine of Duel Links hinted us about the possibility of Rush Characters being able to play Speed Duel format because they have voicelines about "fusion/Synchro/Xyz summoning (If you wonder about the fusion part, the japanese voicelines does have "Yugo shokan" to differ from Rush and Speed format) which brings us closer to the possibility that All Legendary duellist may met each other in One big Crossover event
What if something happens in Duel Links that requires the Vrains characters to need help from other Yugioh characters like some threat or big villain shows up? Or maybe somehow someone tries to figure out a way to travel to the other worlds. I wonder what’ll happen next and I would love to see a crossover between the characters. Imagine the interactions between certain characters. That would be so much fun

To be fair, Vrains is the closest to Duel Links as they are basically sibling products: released at around the same time, both have speed duels and are set in a virtual world. I would say it's very fitting
They intentionally didn't show anyone from DSOD world too. So they didn't encounter the real Kaiba yet. They might be planning something really cool in the future.
Coping for a crossover show for Yugioh 10 in 2026 - the 10th anniversary to DSOD/Duel Links, 30th anniversary of the manga.
A really insane reveal which I wasn't expecting from the event, since Ghost Gal is just "a character" from Vrains. I'm guessing DSOD Kaiba's behind everything in an effort to resurrect the Pharaoh, but Duel Links is growing to include other worlds. The real question is how is Kaiba aware of other worlds to bring them into Duel Links - since they do mention characters arrive in Duel Links when they are remembered (i.e. Celina assuring Yugo that Rin will come eventually because he remembers her).
Supreme King event bringing up the memory system and Jaden's advice to "ask KaibaCorp" to explain why the Supreme King exists as a separate entity, Paradox event introducing the multiverse with his interaction to Pegasus, Trey namedropping KaibaCorp in his event, Declan preparing for another dimensional war in his event, Celina even having the off-screen duel against Weevil in her event - and now this reveal for Ghost Gal's event. Even the Vrains' anime ending shot of Ai is strange without the context of Duel Links to explain it - they must be building up to something for the past few years.
Curious if we'll see any crossovers between Vrains characters & the other series characters in the future? Speaking of which, curious if any GO Rush characters will have voice lines with Yuga once the GO Rush World is added to Duel Links.

Zexal: Trey discovered Kaiba corp. (And everyone keeps brushing the thought away)
Arc V: They seen the legacy characters but realized they are completely different from the ones they know and managed to travel to the other worlds.
Vrains: They witnessed the other worlds through the core.
Sevens: Probably not happening until Go Rush world is released.
Sevens might get theirs when the lukeman comes, or something

In general, SEVENS and Go Rush aren't big on interdimensional travel, though the events surrounding the finale of SEVENS (with respect to what happens at the end of the final duel) and the presence of "That Guy" in Go Rush, in addition to the events of the Operation MIK arc in Go Rush (where they use the power of Field Spell cards to travel between worlds), makes interdimensional travel possible.
Ghost girl has lines in the files for rush duels so maybe this hints at master duel characters being able to rush duel
So since we are on the topic of this huge multicrossover, I actually have a theory on how this going to end.
I personally think the characters will eventually have to destroy Duel Links should the threats cause by it begins to cause damage to their own universes.
There are some characters that will be on board with destroying Duel Links (like Revolver, since he doesn’t want the Ignis to come back), and some would be against it (Yuya, and Shun since this means he will be separated from Yuto and eventually Ruri AGAIN, and Yusaku after promising Ai to changes his fate). And whoever is the “main antagonist” of this multi crossover needs to be defeated to make Duel Links a safer place. That’s my take on this, what do you think?

Honestly Either a movie or a 10/13 episodes mini serie like Pokemon Generations and Origin, that combine every show together, if they are planning it in backstage, i'll say JUST DO IT !! they could do so much crazy stuff, like Aster Asuka Jack Crow and Kite meeting their Arc V counterparts. making Atem Jaden and Yusei meeting up again. etc etc
If I remember correctly from the Dark Side of Dimensions World story, and possibly DM world story, the reason why duel links was created so that Seto Kaiba could reincarnate the Pharaoh using the digital cloud network recreated from memories.
For what we've seen so far this technology from the digital cloud and from what Revolver (Varis) said shows us that this world that kaibacorp created is much more powerful than we initially thought. Especially since we've seen events where villains and characters that were already gone are now coming back from the digital grave due to the memories of those who remembered them thanks to the digital cloud or which case the neuron Network.
I'm starting to think there's a much more dangerous, if not bigger threat looming over Duel Links.

Naoh is a possibility, but the issue is the DM world takes place in the manga continuity, and nobody from the timeline will remember Noah, therefore the digital cloud system (neuron network) wouldn't recognize those memories. But it's an interesting theory to think about, and who knows maybe he enter the story somehow.

No, but they will have memories of Noah crossing from that timeline due to the effects of Duel Links mechanisms crossing over to other timelines for the DM cast recieving that information.
In other words they will know Noah from the memories, but won't know him personally if that makes sense.

When sevens world came out i found it curious that the rush characters got voice lines for the speed duel extra deck summoning mechanics (synchro, XYZ, pendulum etc) and that ghost girl (and probably every other speed duel character but i haven't checked) got voice lines for maximums and rush fusions so its possible that this just leads to a crossover world in the game or a way for speed duel characters to rush duel and vice versa which would still be exciting.
Still if it is a movie i certainly wouldn't complain, I especially would love to see how they handle the difference between Master and Rush duels

It's going to lead to Kaiba being able to revive Atem. Atem is going to be Duel Link's final boss ^^' because that's what he says in Transcend Game : the Neuron Links will lead him to wherever is Atem.
Atem could already be in Duel Links hidden in the Vagabond and he is the only character being able to move from world to world xD.
Maybe Atem is helping / leading the characters to gather all the data. If I remember well, YamiYuugi said, during the Paradox Event, that he couldn't sense evil in Duel Links.

I feel like the most practical guess as to who is manipulating all the data would be 1 of 3 possibilities. Kaiba, Lightning/Bohman, or someone completely new. I'd really love for duel links to lead into a movie or new anime that unites all of the series

Quinton found out someone was using Duel Links for something, which is why he came. also Trey was talking about this strange unknown entity known as KaibaCorp and what they have to do with Duel Links.
The Arc-V characters are talking about an interdimensional war possibly being on the horizon, since both the Yu-boys and the bracelet girls are slowly coming.

depending on what happens with go rush we finally may get more focus on duel links itself after go rush ends and gets added to the game. the lore of this game has only gotten more involved as the game goes on. and i strongly feel with the game approaching the 10 year mark something big is happening. i wished takahashi couldve been here to see this but whatever will happen i feel itll be worth the build up.
When Yugioh Cross Duel confirmed they were shutting down they added the stories from the events..
I wish they would add the same thing for Duel Links so people can see how the events and character interactions from the past events played out..

I really really hope that whenever theres any sort of interactions between these worlds the non-Vrains characters have some sort of reaction to the avatars! Like, everyone else looks like their real selves even in this digital world but the Vrains characters already have their avatars and that seems to apply even though this isn't exactly Vrains. Maybe there could even be a misunderstanding about one of the Barians in their other form being mistaken for someone from their world bc that must be an avatar design, right?
If this leads up to a movie or show and judai's English voice actor comes back to play judai, I will cry so hard. His voice holds so much weight for me. Jaden to me is everything
Judai's English voice actor starred in the 1970s TV show Little House on the Prarie. In the first episode, he plays a young Charles Ingalls, and later on, he plays Albert in the show.

The fact Ghost Gal has lines for Maximum Summoning and Rush Dueling indicates that some sort of Multiversus will happen. That would lead to Speed duelists being able to Rush Duel, and Rush duelists being able to Speed Duel. However, I believe this would only happen after GO Rush world is released, in September 2025 I would imagine.
In the DL lore :
DM world is the sequel of the Yu-Gi-Oh manga. (initially was just a repeat)
GX world is the sequel of the GX anime. (initially was just a repeat)
5D'S world is a repeat of events occuring in the 5D's anime, but with characters already knowing each other.
DSOD world is a repeat of events occuring in the DSOD movie, but with characters already knowing each other. DSOD Kaiba seems to know all the answers.
Zexal world is just a repeat of the Zexal anime, charcaters don't remember each other.
Arc-V world is the direct sequel to Arc-V anime.
Vrains world is the direct sequel to Vrains anime.
Sevens world is just a repeat of the Sevens anime, charcaters don't remember each other.
I don't know why events of some worlds are direct sequel of the anime (like Arc-V and Vrains), but in other worlds, they aren't (like Zexal and Sevens).
Vrains characters are searching for answers as to why to Duel Links exists.
Arc-V characters are actively preparing to face an interdimensional war, like they had to face in the original anime (refering back to Declan's event).
Only Trey and Quattro's event in Zexal referred to the probability that other worlds could exist. They aren't preparing for anything tho.
DM, GX, DSOD and Sevens are all completely unaware of multiple world coexisting with each other in Duel Links. I have no idea what they would do
In the Paradox event Yugi duo makes new memories which intertwine their canon memories with that of the movie special, which built on their animes. Zexal is a lost-the-numbers-again scenario, with the Arclight foreseen world being most likely Barian, but could be the other series by proxy. The worlds most affected by the “retelling” as opposed to sequelization are mostly leaning on their boss encounters. DL in its own lore sought to reignite some of dueling’s fiercest battles, so even if the friend group can navigate new story events, bosses are predominantly arriving with their initial motivations, making them the most vulnerable events to the retelling.
I guess they just choose the options that fills their narrative.
At te end of Sevens Yuga disappears so I guess they couldn't start from the end and decided to start from the beginning

I'm telling you Dylan, what you showed in this video, not only adds fuel to the fire for a possible "multiverse" movie, but we might have to have a serious discussion on what direction Yu-Gi-Oh! series 9, and for sure Yu-Gi-Oh! 10 is going! We may end up with one, or both series being a multiverse type show! It sounds crazy, but this ending cut scene maybe hinting at something huge, beyond just a possible movie!
I'm glad you saw this. I wondered what your reaction might be. It's very boring but the mention of a Neuron Network made me think Bohman might actually be behind everything except his Scale is now Cross Dimensional. Linking every mind as one also sounds like Z-Arc's goal though...while separated anyways which he is. Arc-V has already acknowledged Z-Arc's gonna show up again. Speaking of...in the Celina Event and at least one other instance I'm sure, they confirmed anyone can just free travel between the Duel Links Worlds, it's just we don't have any strict in-game story confirmation of everyone who does. So them being at the *edge* of Duel Links and seeing what they did makes me think that the other worlds might not be so much another dimension but some space that takes some finite distance to get to but is still reachable normally, and the Gates just might save time. I'd love a Movie though, but it'd probably be a Casting and Duel Scripting nightmare getting soooooo many people, some who might not even voice characters anymore to have sufficient screentime. An Event leading up to it (or maybe right before EoS 💀) could save some of the time that would be allocated in a Movie otherwise!

I saw this coming a mile away, and I'm overjoyed that this story is finally starting to come to fruition! I can't wait to see more characters from different timelines/dimensions meet, hopefully in something akin to BBT.
I would enjoy a movie but that would require so much speed running I feel cause you also have to factor in the duels. So what if we had like what you mentioned maybe a mini-series so that we had more time to work with and more time to create interactions and time to build up a villian or reveal

We could get Original Duel Links characters from this. But i think we have to wait till every main villain is released so we get something similar to Rainbow Rocket with characters like Bakura, Lightning/Bohman, Nightshroud, Z-ONE/Godwin, Yuri/(Zarc?), and the most evil ones from Zexal and Rush teaming up with the evil of Duel Links and The Yu MCs teaming up with the good of Duel Links. And possibly creating 4 new cards. 2 for speed and 2 for Rush.
My only concern with another cross over movie is we may only see the main characters interact with each other with the side characters kinda just there on screen similar to how yusei friends were in the bonds beyond time movie but they didn't do anything or were even present in the duel against Paradox to cheer on the 3 main characters. Besides an anime series, another option could be to have the cross over event be a trilogy instead of a one and done movie. As for the game i think the ending is def teasing an in game event where we have the characters of the different series interact with each other but not sure when that will happen

They met in a time travel ordeal before Duel Links, so they already knew each other. But it seems they will be adding more lines for characters from different series.

@@TehKaiser Jaden and Yusei already knew Yugi, but he didn't. Also Paradox event made the Tag Duels events non canon since the 3 already met in those previous to Paradox event, and Yugi still said he didn't know them.

As for who created Duel Links? It could be a villain or Kaiba. I'm believing it's Kaiba because I remember they showed a Duel Links ad before Darkside of Dimensions played & the ad itself really felt like an ad that Kaiba made to promote the game.

This isn't the first time characters from other worlds interact with each other and if you use the gate with the Arc V characters to duel Kaito or Alexis or others they'll say that they seem different from the ones they knew. But whats interesting is that the Vrains characters are the ones from the end of the Yu-gi-oh Vrains anime so their interactions with characters outside of Link Vrains Duel links (From the other series) is certainly interesting
i remember seeing this and being like "holy shit, is my prediction right?", since i predicted they would meet up with Kaiba, it wasn't exactly the same way but very close, maybe they are only waiting to add all the Vrains characters before a big reveal since so far those are the ones who are more concerned about finding out how Duel Links works while all others are more focused on enjoying the game and finding out if their friends will also appear

Yusei Jaiden and atem know each other from the whole paradox thing Jaiden even asked to duel them like in in the series and both had promised too but they don't know the others if this is a massive franchise crossover it's going to be massive add the lore of duel links itself this could just become the most important thing in all of yugioh and could have a cosmic shift to things in the future

For me after seeing this video, I never watched the sub version of yugioh gx season 4 or 5ds season 3 and always wondered why Konami hasn’t done this through duel links

Yep, Duel links is following the manga, in the latest Tag Duel tournament event, grandpa muto and Pegasus team up. At the end after you beat them pegasus says he wont age anymore, when questioned he just says oh well. (Because hes dead, from the manga)...
I swear duel link’s already confirmed people could move between the worlds such as the arc v characters referencing the 5Ds and Zexel characters used different decks to what they knew. But genuinely i do want a massive crossover but tbh that’d be better as a show not just a duel links thing
