- We commentate a randomly drawn Tournament between all the BEST FRIENDS in Master Duel! We did give the decks a few of their newer support.
In the past we have had an A.I. simulate these tournaments, but after many comments trashing the A.I. dueling (rightfully so), we went with a different approach and had the duels performed by the Legendary Duels Team. The duels were ran once and were performed by two members of very equal skill to try to keep it as fair and balanced as possible. Hope you enjoy the new format!

Hope everyone enjoys these Anime Duels!! It was a pleasure being able to help Dylan with his series and hopefully provide some Legendary Duels for you all to enjoy! I will continue to help Dylan with the tournament series if you guys like what you see. Have a great day and Happy Mother’s Day!!

Chazz, Jack(not sure if Yusei is his adoptive brother), Shark, Kite are both rivals and best friends with the protagonist
I haven't watch Arc-V yet so I don't know if Declan is friends with Yuya

the thing with Sho was that he cling too much on Judai, but as soon as he seperated from him he actually became an amazing duelist...

Shark/Nash winning the tournament is a coincidence with the first cards released in the new OCG pack, Rage of the Abyss being retrains and new Shark support cards, including a new Chaos Number form for Shark Drake and a retrain of Leviathan Dragon. Congratulations to the Barian Emperor.
It all comes together!! He needed to earn the new support. And he did lol
Each of these duels felt like they would’ve fit into the anime very well. Shark was basically pulling out Chaos Draws against Cyrus and Gong, being absolutely merciless like always. Definitely one of my favorite characters in the franchise!
He's in my top 3 YGO characters of all time. I love how unique they made him, and his character development was amazing
OMG, here I was thinking Soulburner would slap Shark and yet he not only wins, but climbs to champion; that continuous trap saved Shark against Gong. I would suggest redoing the previous tournaments in this same format to see better duels and possibly different results.
Big thanks to Legendary Duels - these duels were so much more fun to watch and easily more exciting and tense.
Yeah I was on edge for so many of these duels, especially Shark's. Glad the goat came out on top in the end
Soulburner def should've won there if it was played correctly. Gazelle send spinny, go into stalio, summon jack, link into wolf, bounce, summon jack summon fowl

Shark did an amazing job and all the duels were absolutely epic. The change was good and I like it. Imagine doing this for the villains of each Yugioh series.

All the duels had me on the edge of my seat when it came to who was gonna win especially Joey vs Bronk and Shark vs Gong. I'm glad that Shark won the tournament in the end.

Suggestion for next tournament: make the bracket double elimination to minimize upsets and give characters second chances
That surviving on a trap at the end was really some serious anime bs. That made it perfect for this tournament. What a way to end it!
I like that Sho got farther than Johan! And Gogenzakas deck was actually really good! And Joey not getting blown away was awesome

Surprisingly bronk was the weakest/ the best friend who had the least best friend to have screen time but has the most victories against the protagonist although it was before the anime it were offscreen and Yuma didn't wanted to use xyz during the anime

The funny thing about Johan vs Sho is that Johan did duel against Cyber Dragon/Cyberdark with Ryo, so this is kinda like a round 2 duel

Almost want to make it the battle of the 2,800 monsters, as most of the friend characters interestingly have their strongest/Ace monsters be with 2,800, like Gilford the Lightning, Black-Winged Dragon, NUmber 32 Shark Drake/Number C101 Silent Honor Dark, and Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix. Would've been cool to see these four monsters fight each other.
I think we have the villains to do now.
Let's say Bakura, Sartorious, Rex Goodwin, Vector, The Professor and Faris (I think that's right...? Cause Bohman and Lightnings cards aren't printed yet.)
Then again there's also the final Bosses. Barkura (Zorc), Darkness, Z-ONE, Don Thousand, Zarc and Ai. Maybe we can see that next.

I must say while i was upset or maybe more shocked to see Syrus beat Jesse i think having legendaryduels take over these matches honestly kept it in line with the anime with just how things kept happening shocking and exciting! Shark taking it all especially after the round 1 of Soulburner who i think has the strongest deck out of all of them just shows how tough he was! Gong getting revenge on Crow was crazy lol and Joey making it to top 4 fits in line haha. So something i will say though i do kinda wish we kept the original decks but that would mean some of the fights would be easier. What i will say you could do is maybe at the end of the video have a section where you show at least the chart of who won the fights with their original decks. Hope that makes sense!
It more so nerfs the vrains characters a lot since for example (syrus, Jesse, and at least shark all had cards that were later then all of soulburners deck and even though I don't really care for soulburner he was done dirty in thus tournament just off of some key misplays but salad is easily the most confusing of these decks so it makes sense)

This is more like it. Keep going with new set up. Real players will always be better than AI. The legendary duels team did a great job!

I can see Shark as a Best Friend. He broke Yuma's key and kicked a piece into a bush or something and Joey took a Piece of Yugi's puzzle and threw out a window. And both Joey and Shark have little sisters who were in hospitals with bandages over their eyes

Yes this one will especially be a challenge to make. Dylan had already picked the villains and they are all good contenders, but you’ll have to wait and see 😁
I really liked this tournament. There was a few times when I thought that Shark was going to lose.

I can see Shark getting the win. He went through a lot of struggles, but Yuma has always tried to help him no matter what. And he rose to help Yuma as well.

There was a serious increase in quality in the duels, this was super intense and I loved it! The only thing I'd suggest for future duels, is if you want to stick to the single duel format as opposed to best of 3, is maybe have a mulligan rule so that no one bricks? That was the most disappointing about the Rivals video. Galaxy-Eyes and Blue-Eyes are very prone to bricking and there needs to be some contingency for something like that. Not because I want a certain outcome (I'll admit I wish we'd gotten to see a Kaito vs Kaiba duel) but because I want these duels to be super entertaining.
No worries. If Dylan wants me to re-do the rivals, there will be no bricking 👌🏻

This does need an 8th contester to fill up the brackets and I already gave DM an extra character. Maybe Yubel for GX, Rex Godwin for 5D's or Vector for Zexal.

Idk maybe its just me but i feel like Yusei had more deep friendship with Bruno compared to Crow

A thought: though not sure how many physical cards you own. If you have enough to make any character legacy deck maybe you can open challenge duel any of your watchers to a character duel. To make things fair you can always deck inspect to see how the deck is built pre-duel. I've got a top notch Judai deck w/ Legacy Support.
I love the changes & thanks for dropping this on mother's day since i'm unable to celebrate it with my mom since she passed away in 2006 to cervical & ovarian cancer. Please keep the changes maybe for another tournament do the yu boys vs the bracelet girls

Salads should've popped off. Like, idk why the one playing it didn't normal Fennec, then use that to Link into Bale to special Gazelle which gets you to Spinny, then Spinny and Gazelle into Stallio, etc etc. He could've ended on Sunlight Wolf + a Rank 4 (which ig would've been Blaze Dragon) + Gazelle in hand + set Call of the Haunted, but just didn't go for it.
That’s fair. I wasn’t as familiar with Soulburners deck so I didn’t see all the plays you just mentioned. I still have to practice more with his deck. Sorry for not using the deck to the fullest. I’ll improve!

Yes he only has one Level 6 Synchro. I don’t like to add copies do the synchros to keep it more anime authentic.

@@easternwoyer3876 those were support cards made for his character deck by Konami. But if you don’t agree that’s cool too. Dylan did say we included new support. But adding copies of extra deck monsters is not very common in the anime.
@legendaryduels1262 I also dislike that you didn't use soul piercer until nearly the end, after all it may as well be the true ace monster of the archetype

You should redo the older tournaments with these new rules to see if the results stay the same or if they were caused by the AI playing badly.
