They manipulated and abused them, took them for granted and judged their ways too harshly. These 2 are amazing kids and their own parents treat them like shit! Bluellan So did I for the first 10 years of my life and my parents were weird in that religious way too and at the age of 10 i was placed in the care of my grandparents they were religious too but not as strict or weird my parents were but they gave me more freedom but still Christianity was the way of the house I had no problem with that
I can see over the years I still stayed a devout Christian and I still got to learn things that I never knew before wasn’t allowed before my grandparents gave me more freedom to learn new things
It was until I was in my 20s I began to question it I can say I’m still on the matter now but not in the same way

Honestly either the parents have ocd or are bipolar because the things they do aren't normal and the fact they disowned her for venting while being forced to sit on her tree as part of being grounded is proof that they're crazy and they don't want people to know espcially the dad, honestly I'm glad fiona's grandma is a sane person and took fiona in and scolded her son and disowned him for what he did, at least craige has a safe place at their grandma's as well, but for the fact that their mum crying because she missies her well I haven't got much to say for that other than she made the choice with her husband to kick her out so she doesn't have the right to miss fiona, unless she was forced to agree maybe she should consider divorcing her husband get therapy and then try reconcile with fiona.

You are lucky to have an open minded grandmother like yours, besides you are a great kid and I think it is for the best you stay away from those crazy people.
