Absolument parfait ! 👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰
Only a master can make magic; any fool can criticize. To my mind, mere mortals cannot achieve what this beautiful young woman has done. Tears of joy....
Unfortunately, many people eat previous to concerts and thus do that. Best to take dinner later if one desires not to sound like large felines bringing up their hairballs.
Granada by Isaac Albeniz. This song speaks to the very core of my being, reverberating through every atom of my body, rejuvenating me like no other song can, none even come close. I can and have listened to it on repeat. Absolutely beautiful. If I or my life was ever a song, it would be this one. Go figure, with me being the quiet type, the song has no lyrics. I saw someone comment that they will have this for their service when they're dead, and now I will too; I couldn't possibly find a better one.
Albeniz was a pianist and wrote this for piano. While i prefer all his Torre Bermeja pieces on guitar, the Transcriber is important and should be named.
Such an individual and beautiful rendition. Sanguine, melancholy, effervescent... why this music is such a masterpiece. Great (and difficult) choice of voicings, doing the same thing differently. Masterful and thank you.
Inconmensurable belleza de música, guitarra y mujer. Tenue, delicada y esencial para oídos, ojos y espíritu. Gracias por estos gratos y sublimes espacios...
Sorry to disagree with you Marcelo, but this piece is usually played by a soloist. And there are plenty of transcriptions to choose from Tarrega to our days. Incidentally, do not miss Alec Holcomb´s version in TH-cam, sublime. Have a nice day!
Agree this is a solo piece. A difficult solo piece but doable. I am working on the Barraueco transcription now. Interesting that Ana studied with him but as I can tell, she has her own interpretation. I used to play it by tuning fifth string up to B but I am doing it in standard tuning now.
To my ears the guitar wasn’t out of tune at the start. One of the treble strings (I think the E) seemed to go slightly flat during the performance. It becomes evident at around 4:00 and 4:06 when she plays the rolled chords. By that time she was 3/4 through the piece, so probably decided to carry on for the remaining minute or so. Virtuoso musicians of her quality have perfect pitch and know instantly if a guitar is in tune or not. She would have corrected the tuning for the next piece. There are no tuning issues in any of the other pieces from this fantastic concert…and her playing is sublime. For me, Ana Vidovic is now one of the greatest classical guitarists of all time.
That girl is Serbian, natural talent same as Mileva Maric, Serbian scientist was teaching math her husband Einstein during common studying physics. As thanks and appreciation he gave her WHOLE NOBEL PRICE WHEN HE RECEIVED because he would never graduate without her help.
I will never be a player of the caliber of this great young artist, but I have been struggling with tuning for years. I learned that strings and wood expand and contract with body heat, and tuning should be done at the temps you are going to perform at. Trying to tune at the outset of a session is difficult, a moving target, until the instrument reaches "running temperature". Also, like with the "well-tempered clavier", some keys will be OK, and not others. As I begin a session, some keys sound fine, but the key of D will unmask a deficiency. I try a few keys and also high up on the neck to try to ferret out the problems. I don't use a tuner, but I know they are helpful. Finally, the age of the ear has something to do with it, I understand there is a slow shift in perception as we age. Stuff I heard as OK a few decades ago, I now hear as out of tune. The Stones and Dylan were terribly out of tune early on, but their late stuff is OK. Some issues to be aware of: wrapped strings, E, A, D, will sometimes be out of tune with the unwrapped ones, and the material, nylon vs: steel wrapped. One needs to be sure there is no binding at the nut or the bridge, this will introduce inaccuracy as the playing progresses...
She is Croatian, not Serbian. And the guitar is out of tune during whole piece, but note by note tuning is getting worst. But who cares! She is pefect, her playing is perfect, that was a mechanical failure, and that could have happened to anybody :D
@@michelvoisin4842 I thought it was a bit sharp also...I thought I was crazy because she is obviously a gifted musician and I am a hack at the flute (at best). Anyway, good to know someone thought so only because I wasn't trusting my ear...
For those worried about the tuning, that's the nature of the guitar. It's an imperfectly designed instrument. This is a sublime performance in spite of that.
It is not an imperfectly designed instrument. It lies in the nature of overtones, which are not in tune in the context of the well-tempered tuning used today.
Albeniz wrote about this piece and mentioned the sound of slightly out of tune guitars in Granada . That is not possible on a piano which was the original instrument for this .So you may hear this as artistic license rather than out of tune as such .
No the guitar is not out of tune. My guitar gives the same sound. Ana is a very accomplished guitarist but has a ways to go to meet grand master standards. Listen to Narcisso Years play it and you will see the difference.
Isaac Albeniz was talking about the augmented second: "The phrase 'heartbreaking lament out of tune,' refers to Albéniz’s use of the melodic augmented-second in the slow central section of this piece." An augmented second is like the interval difference between C and D# which was odd during the time the piece was written. Yes, the Spanish musicians were experimenting with altered tuning, but that means things such as dropping the low E string to the tuning of D to imitate the deep ostinato bass of an arabic lute , for example. Unfortunately, her guitar is indeed out of tune a bit as one of the strings may have slipped at the nut from playing earlier, or by other means. She plays the piece beautifully, however :) As a classical musician for 16 years, I admire her virtuosity.

You should use steel concrete as the foundation for the deck to prevent the pine roots from growing vertically upward later, which will break your sand & cement foundation

That man coughed out his lungs during every single performance of this concert

Nothing lacking. Anna has worked very hard and sacrificed much. Just Lovely beyond words.
Thank You Anna.
This young lady has been blessed with all the qualities of perseverance, intellect, physical beauty, ability and at present, youth. A great artist!
Ana is a very classy lady, her heart and soul shine right through her guitar playing. Her repertoire is immense and knows no bounds.

Beautiful sentiment, well said.
You will need to buy a powerful hearing aid premortem, and it may not be sufficient.
I like annas vids before they even start, just cause I know without a doubt, its gonna be amazing...period
One of the most beautiful performances I've ever heard. Ana is a master guitarist, and Isaac Albeniz is one hell of a composer.

Absolutely on both points.
Stunningly beautiful Albeniz composition, truly breathtaking performance by Anna, nothing more i can say.
Magnífica, extraordinaria Ana Vidovic, cheers from Santa Cruz, Bolivia
words cannot explain all the feeling that she express. Amazing.

Masterful interpretation, execution! Captures the diverse beauty of this musical landscape.
Beautiful piece of music, played beautifully too.
I agree with you.
Ana's Interpretation and expression are excellent.
Only she can play it , I love Ana's talents💕
When I hear you play the guitar, I feel very good. Thank you
She's basically doing the impossible. You normally see two people interpreting this piece. To do this solo is absolutely insane!
Sorry to disagree with you Marcelo, but this piece is usually played by a soloist. And there are plenty of transcriptions to choose from Tarrega to our days. Incidentally, do not miss Alec Holcomb´s version in TH-cam, sublime. Have a nice day!

Louis Walker it sounded like the g was out, well it's a huge pain for going out of tune on my guitar anyway
That girl is Serbian, natural talent same as Mileva Maric, Serbian scientist was teaching math her husband Einstein during common studying physics. As thanks and appreciation he gave her WHOLE NOBEL PRICE WHEN HE RECEIVED because he would never graduate without her help.
I agree wholeheartedly. She is the best. Her playing is almost magical. And she is beautiful.

Oh my what beautiful music by Isaac Albéniz and lovely playing by Ana Vidovic. I do not think the guitar is out of tune.
There are some but it cannot diminue the value of the interpretation.

Yes, something is going on with the B in the opening bars.
Beautiful woman, beautiful playing. One of the best classical players in the world, for sure.
For those worried about the tuning, that's the nature of the guitar. It's an imperfectly designed instrument. This is a sublime performance in spite of that.
Yes the performance was exceptional, but the tuning was also slightly off tune
It's not the guitar, but the strings which go out of tune, especially when new.
It is not an imperfectly designed instrument. It lies in the nature of overtones, which are not in tune in the context of the well-tempered tuning used today.
it is "horrible untunned " ! xaxaxa She is a perfect performer ...Unlucky this time !
We had a guitarist at a public concert here state that in adopting the guitar, one must be reconciled to playing out of tune a lot.
This is pure gold. I love it so much.
From 1:37 some of the appoggiaturas reminds Tarrega's Capricho Arabe !! beautifully interpreted.
Talented and beautiful guitar player, thank you.
beautiful, singing...and Ana Vidovic's technique is flawless too!
I've heard a lot of interpretations of this piece, and this is one of the best, if not the best ❤😊.

No way! Yepes played with 10 strings, she plays with only six!!!! Her left hand is perfect, Yepes was far from clean. She is already a Master.
